Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System-Chapter 1447: A Dragon’s Power
The silver head on the lion lifted slightly, and the immortal Qi around the bone-like spear began to rotate faster, humming with a resonance that shook the surrounding water.
The Immortal Qi seems to increase the power of the spear with every rotation.
Kent felt a subtle pressure come from beneath the water.
At the same time, the pressure in the air thickened instantly, pressing down on him from all directions. Even in his dragon form, he felt his scales strain under the invisible weight.
The spear rose fully from the seabed, its length stretching for thousands of meters, carved with ancient runes that pulsed with silver light. The seven streams of immortal Qi moved in unison and slowly started locking onto the spear.
The moment the final stream of Qi locked into place around it, the Three-Headed Sea Lion let out a howl that rippled through both water and sky.
Kent’s pupils narrowed.
He moved—or at least tried to move back. He tried to move his body, but he couldn’t. This caused his pupils to shrink further, forcing his gaze back to the giant spear.
That was when he sensed where the danger was coming from.
"This is not just a weapon," he muttered. "This is a manifested domain."
Before he could react further, the spear tilted forward and shot toward him. It did not travel like a thrown object; it pierced through space itself, leaving a distorted silver trail behind.
The surrounding water froze mid-motion, locking the battlefield into a rigid, crystalline prison.
Kent twisted his body midair and activated his Chaos Scale Shield again, reinforcing it with blood runes.
He knew he had to act fast, so he did. However, the outcome was one he never saw coming.
The spear struck the shield with a deafening explosion, shattering three layers instantly and sending shockwaves that split the ocean surface below.
He was blasted backward, scales cracking in several places as blood seeped between them.
"Impossible," Kent exclaimed, watching as his chaos scale shield cracked and shattered under the deadly strike of the spear.
Although he knew his scale shield could crack and even shatter when struck by something extremely powerful, he never expected it to break this easily, not when he had invested over 40,000 blood seals to augment it.
In the past, he had some close encounters where his shields were overpowered, but that was when he chose not to augment them.
Now, it seems he had finally seen something that must be corrected.
’I need to form my chaos heart fast,’ he said inwardly, ’Although it is just a domain, I shouldn’t have lost that easily.’
This failure made him understand just how deadly domains could be. Inside a domain, the owner could do just about anything, provided the conceptualization allowed it.
But when, instead of using the domain itself, it was actually compressed into a weapon, it meant the domain was not being hurled at him, and that was just too dangerous.
The result was his scales shattering and being pushed back by the deadly attack.
But before he could stabilize himself, the Green Scale Octopus Queen moved again. Four tentacles lashed out simultaneously, weaving together into a spiraling formation that trapped him within a tightening vortex.
The water within the vortex began to compress, crushing inward with immense pressure. Kent felt his bones creak despite his dragon form being his strongest.
Above him, the spear rotated once more, gathering even greater force, preparing for a second strike that would not merely injure—but obliterate him.
Kent’s mind raced, but panic did not take root. The last thing he wanted was panic. Just a slight mistake could cost him his edge.
So instead of panicking, an eerie calm settled over him as his dragon blood burned hotter within his veins. If this were a manifested domain, then brute force alone would not be enough. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
’This is not your first time facing a manifested domain, Kent,’ he said to himself, almost as if he were trying to remind himself of something.
’Just figure out how it works, and it will be game over.’
ROAR
He roared, and crimson-gold flames erupted across his scales, forcing the surrounding water to vaporize instantly. He knew his flames alone would not be enough, so he activated a Nirvana Flame.
Steam exploded outward, disrupting the compression long enough for him to flex his wings and expand his body with raw draconic power.
Although he had no Chaos energy, when he activated all 80,000 blood runes and 250,000 flame veins, his power rose, causing the very air to quake.
The vortex itself trembled.
Above, the immortal Qi spun faster, channeling even more energy into the spear. This added force gave the bone spear the energy to descend again, this time carrying the weight of the frozen sea itself.
The sky cracked with a silver fracture as the spear pierced downward as if it were formed from death Qi.
Kent inhaled deeply.
His first Flame Core ignited as well.
The air around him warped violently as his two blazing cores synchronized within his body. A draconic aura burst outward in a ring of fire, melting the ice domain and forcing the sea back into motion. With a thunderous flap of his wings, he shot upward directly toward the falling spear.
Instead of dodging, he met it head-on.
He knew what had to be done to break the Lions’ advantage over him.
His claws wrapped around the shaft of the bone spear, and for a single breath, the world went silent.
The overwhelming power of the spear and Kent’s terrifying strength met in a deadly collision, and the result spoke for itself.
The spear came to a deadly halt, something that shouldn’t be possible, not when the spear was literally a manifestation of a domain.
Below, the Three-Headed Sea Lion widened the eyes of its silver head in disbelief as the dragon, though smaller, actually brought its spear to a halt despite seven immortal Qi supporting it.
The Green Scale Octopus Queen tightened her tentacles again, but for the first time since the battle began, the two beasts realized they were not the ones with the upper hand.
The dragon was far more dangerous than they believed, and that could be seen from what happened next.
Kent mere stopped the spear. As to how to cancel the domain, he knew he had to call on a third party.
Just when the spear was stopped, Kent let out a deadly roar and pushed forward, sending the spear moving back.
The lion tried to command it to move forward; however, before it could make any progress, a stunning beauty clad in black and pink armor appeared and stood atop the blunt end of the spear.
She flashed Kent a smile and then, with a simple step, vanished into the void. For a moment, nothing happened. However, that changed when the spear suddenly trembled and cracks formed along its surface.
Before long, the cracks traveled along its length, and with one powerful roar, it shattered. The impact was immediate as the lion let out a terrifying howl before waves of blood poured from its mouth.
Getting his domain severed left it completely wounded in the soul.
Kent did not attack.
He flew upward, and just when he was high enough, Kenna appeared and sat on his back, crossing her legs.
In a seductive tone, she spoke, "Master, I want to devour the three-headed lion’s soul, but I am too weak. Can you help me?"
She could probably do it on her own since she had already wounded its soul. However, to ensure she is happy, Kent decided to play her game.
"Why not?" Kent, still in his dragon form, raised his right claw and activated a technique with a gentle tap. However, that gentle gesture turned into a terrifying sight that immediately locked onto the lion.
RUMBLE
Lightning flashed across the sky, and a colossal fist, forged from metallic gold, emerged from the clouds. It locked onto the lion and moved, causing the air to shake.
Sitting atop Kent’s dragon body, Kenna giggled and spun her dagger.
The lion, sensing the danger coming, created a shield, hoping to block the giant fist. However, when its metallic might landed on it, the sea exploded, and the lion was sent crashing to the bottom.
"All yours."
Kenna giggled again and vanished. The next second, she found herself inside the lion’s soul sea.
Meanwhile, Kent finally turned toward the octopus.
