Perhaps due to some magical law, after so many days of fruitless searching, Cain had been unable to locate Scolipede. Just as he was about to give up, it appeared before him.

Scolipede is a Bug- and Poison-type Pokémon, commonly found in dense forests, in darker and more humid areas of the ground.

Cain had been vigilant in such places but never imagined he would end up finding it in such an unexpected way.

Five Pokémon against one. Although Scolipede's level was higher, it was only slightly above Slowking's, making the difference manageable.

Honchkrow was the quickest to react. Its Tailwind move was so ingrained that as soon as Cain gave the order, it executed Tailwind, increasing the speed of all the Pokémon.

Although Honchkrow no longer had the Prankster ability, the execution speed of Tailwind hadn't decreased much.

Slowking's body emitted a strange aura as it used Nasty Plot, raising its special attack.

Thanks to the speed boost provided by Honchkrow, Sneasel quickly raised its hands, creating four ice spikes in the air.

A few days ago, Sneasel could only generate three spikes, but it had since increased to four, reflecting its growth in Ice-type energy.

The ice spikes fell directly toward the advancing Scolipede.

However, Scolipede noticed the sudden appearance of the ice spikes. Its robust body, aided by its many legs, moved with agility, dodging left and right. It managed to avoid Sneasel's Icicle Crash, although its speed was significantly reduced.

Skorupi immediately used Taunt on Scolipede, then pushed off strongly with its legs, launching itself at Scolipede.

Due to the speed reduction, Scolipede couldn't overpower Skorupi, who charged straight at it.

Shadow Wing Attack, a combination of Flying- and Dark-type moves, was one of Honchkrow's recently mastered techniques.

White Flying energy and black Dark energy swirled around Honchkrow.

Like a hunting eagle, Honchkrow swooped down rapidly, striking Scolipede and then quickly ascending again, leaving no opportunity for Scolipede to counterattack.

Immediately afterward, Slowking's Psychic attack hit its mark.

Dark psychic energy balls struck Scolipede directly on the head, leaving it stunned.

Scolipede's body trembled as the combined attacks from Honchkrow and Slowking inflicted significant damage.

"Haunter, use Hypnosis."

"Slowking, use Yawn."

Taking advantage of Scolipede's disorientation, Cain ordered the combination of Haunter's Hypnosis and Slowking's Yawn moves.

With a double sleep attack, Scolipede slowly collapsed to the ground.

Without landing a single blow, Scolipede was defeated by Cain's teamwork.

He threw a Poké Ball and captured Scolipede.

"With this, the mission is complete," Cain said, holding Scolipede's Poké Ball in his hand.
