Pokemon: An Icy Path-Chapter 79 - 77

It only takes a few moments before I turn out of sight of Erika, heading in the direction of the Poke Center. My surprise meeting with her ended up giving me a personal connection to one of the leaders of the Kanto region. Granted, being the granddaughter of Professor Oak gave me a connection to them anyway, but that wasn’t the same as having Erika’s personal phone number.

As we walk along the streets, Zephyr flies far above letting the evening thermals keep her aloft, seemingly unbothered by the fact that the rest of us disappeared earlier. Though maybe we didn’t really disappear, or maybe she was warned by whoever caused the issue in the first place and didn’t need to worry. Sadly, I can’t understand Pokemon so I may never actually know.

With how late it is, it’s not surprising that the city is completely silent outside the normal sounds of nature. The moon itself has moved far past its zenith and is heading towards the horizon as if to denote the late hour. Between the evolutions of my two teammates, the boost in my cultivation, and the encounter with Erika, my mood is pretty much soaring with happiness, which makes me start to hum a random melody. Feeling as though that isn’t quite enough for the feeling within me, I start a twirling dance as I walk, letting myself take random length steps. The feeling of openness and freedom, along with my bubbling happiness, makes for a rather intoxicating mix.

Eventually, I reach the street the Poke Center is on. I’m not sure how long it actually was, as I was traveling kind of randomly, so it wouldn’t surprise me if I ended up going around the whole city. As I twirl onto the short path to the door, movement from the corner of my eye causes me to pause, only to realize it is Zephyr landing in front of me. I give my pretty bird a small smile as I pull out her pokeball, which causes her to hop forward and press her beak to the release button and let herself get absorbed.

"What about you two? Do you want to stay out or be carried in your balls?" I ask as I reattach Zephyr’s pokeball before looking at the other two. Unsurprisingly, the two of them shake their heads in response. If they don’t want to go into their pokeballs I won’t force them.

Despite my enhanced vision, stepping into the bright interior lights from the much dimmer moonlight outside is still a small shock to the system. I pause for a moment of a moment as I blink once, causing my eyes to adjust to the bright light. My eyes quickly scan the room, and I notice that, unlike the city outside, there is a fairly large crowd of people hanging out in the lobby. From what I can see, it looks like they are either eating a late meal or waiting for their Pokemon to be healed. I can see a Nurse Chansey running around behind the counter while Nurse Joy helps another trainer.

Despite the curious scene, I don’t pay much attention as I head for the ramp on the opposite side of the room. On my way across the room, I hear some snippets of conversation, but nothing really stands out as to why so many people are up at this time, unless I am wrong about the time. I do notice a few gazes that linger slightly longer than normal, but no one calls me out for my current state of dress or even a catcall. Honestly, Skadi gets more attention than I do, but she is also a rather rare breed of Pokemon in Kanto as well as a regional variant and a shiny one at that. Aurora draws a few gazes too, but Eeveelutions are extremely popular, and it is not uncommon to see a few around. The lack of reaction to me makes me think back to what Erika had mentioned a little while ago about it not working on me, and now that I am looking, I can see what she meant.

It only takes a minute or two before I reach our floor, which I note is actually rather empty except for a few mixed individuals hanging out around the bath. The group doesn’t pay any attention to me as I pass through the beaded curtain and into our ’room’. There I find my fiery lover sprawled out across the bed, wearing only a small lacy thong, with her cuddly team members surrounding her. Her face is the epitome of relaxed as she buries her face into her Eevee’s neck fluff and lets out a small sigh of contentment. I pull out my phone and make sure it is on silent before snapping a few pictures for later.

"Looks like someone is enjoying themselves," I say as I put my phone back into my bag, a small smile on my lips. Flannery just makes an unintelligible sound that can be taken for agreement. I notice the ears of her team members suddenly perk up at my voice, but I’m surprised that they didn’t hear me come in. "Should I come back later?" It seems to take her brain a moment to process that she is being talked to, as I watch her ever so slowly lift her face out of the fluff and robotically turn her head towards me. I give her a cheeky wave as I watch her face start to flush before she slowly turns away again and coughs into her fist.

"Welcome back," Flannery says with a controlled tone while looking away from me, "how was the trip into the city?"

"Enchanting, enlightening, and all around interesting," I tell her as I smile at her adorable antics.

Flannery looks back at me, finally, and opens her mouth to say something, but freezes when she actually takes in my changes. She blinks a few times as if wondering if her eyes are deceiving her while her mouth does a decent Magikarp impression. She slips off the bed as she closes her mouth and approaches me. As she stands up, though, it finally hits me how tall I have become, as I used to be able to easily look her in the eyes, but now her face is right at boob level. Though I don’t think either of us has an issue with that particular change.

"I can definitely tell it was an interesting night. Are you going to tell me it was something to do with your supposed other life?" Flannery asks as she cocks an eyebrow at me. She still didn’t quite believe my story about my previous life and still thinks it is a Psychic Pokemon playing tricks.

"I can assure you that it was nothing like that, at least. Though it really was weird in a way that I am starting to believe your theory about me." That got a small reaction out of her before I continued. "Let’s start with the interesting, so when I left the Pokemon Center, I started to notice odd things happening all around."

"Odd things?"

"Yeah, like outside is completely silent except for the sounds of nature. There are no man-made sounds at all. I could actually stand outside of an open window and watch people have a conversation, but not hear a single word."

"Are you sure the window was open?" She asks skeptically.

"I am pretty sure, as I didn’t see a single glass window around, but again I could not hear anything, even standing right next to them."

"Oh..."

"Yeah, but other than that, the only special thing to see was the way the streets are lit. There are no artificial lights at all; instead, everything uses some kind of bioluminescence. Every bush, tree, or flower glows with a different color, giving just enough light to see by without destroying your night vision. That is when the enchanting part of the night started, though. I’m not too sure when, but I started to notice that the coloring in the lights shifted from a rainbow effect to a much more solid blue along the edge of the street."

"Curiosity killed the Skitty," Flannery mutters under her breath as she lets out a quiet chuckle.

"Ah, but satisfaction brought it back," I throw back at her with a smirk as I continue my story. "So yes, I followed the mysterious blue lights and actually ended up... somewhere? I don’t know where exactly I was, but somehow we entered this cavern with a huge Ice Stone in the center of it. Of course, I didn’t know what it was at the time, but Skadi and Aurora answered that for me."

Upon hearing their names, my two freshly evolved Pokemon slip into our small room. Aurora doesn’t have much of an issue and actually goes up to Flannery and rubs against her leg. Skadi, on the other hand, makes the small room feel even smaller because of her luxurious tails. Flannery actually squeals in happiness at seeing them and throws her arms around me, burying her face in my tits.

"Congrats, love! I wasn’t sure if they were going to be able to evolve anytime soon. I started looking around as we passed through Saffron City, but the stones are extremely rare in Kanto." Flannery says as she rests her chin on my breastbone and looks up at me with a huge smile.

"Aw, thank you! You know you didn’t need to, I would have figured something out!" I tell her as I give her a tight hug in return.

"I’ll just find something else for you instead! So, how did you turn into this tall sex icon of a woman? Not that you weren’t sexy before, but now you have legs for days and the body of a goddess."

"I was just getting to that, actually. You know how we are training Aura?" She gives me a small nod before I continue. "Well, come to find out, the elemental stones are actually made from pure Aura..."

"No... You didn’t?!" Flannery gasps as she realizes what I am about to say.

"It wasn’t intentional," I quickly defended myself, "but after Skadi evolved, she motioned for me to approach the stone and sit on it. Trusting my partner, I sat down on it, and at first nothing happened... And then I cycled my technique. I was able to slowly absorb the Aura from the stone, but at the rate it was going, I probably would have had to sit there for a month to properly absorb it."

"What did you do?" She asks as she narrows her eyes at me.

"I might have tried to speed up the process and did something stupid in the meantime?" I try to play off the stupidity of forcing my core against the stone, but her continued stare shows that my attempt isn’t working. "I somehow touched my core to the Ice Stone, which caused it to absorb at an extreme rate... I am not too sure about what happened after that, though, as I woke up naked and in a meadow sometime after."

Flannery gasps and actually starts to inspect my body, as if looking for any injuries. I giggle slightly as her fingers trail against my skin, her touch drawing more pleasure than before. I play along and let her fully examine me before looking into my eyes once more.

"Okay, so no injuries that I can see at least, yet you have changed quite a bit. Taller, new, and changed tattoos, bigger tits and ass, hints of muscle, new hair colors, pointy ears, and glowing eyes. Did I miss anything?" 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

"What tattoo changed?"

"The wings on your back now look like a stylized bird with a long tail, but also like it is sleeping?" She says with a bit of a questioning tone, as if she isn’t sure herself of what she is describing.

"Huh, well, that is interesting. I haven’t had a chance to look in the mirror yet, so I didn’t know about my hair and eyes. Other than that, I had a rather massive increase in strength. When I first woke up, each step sent me at least five meters forward." Flannery whistles in appreciation at that. "Morning training might be a little rougher than normal for a while as I learn to control myself."

"At least you seem to be alright." I just smile at her words and give her a long kiss on the lips.

"Now, let me tell you about the enlightening part of the night~"
