Pokemon - A real story-Chapter 828: Talking with Angela

There was no response from the phone. Morgan was clearly surprised by the comment and he didn't know what to say. He was the gym leader of the top 8 gyms in the Kanto region so he knew what was going on right now. The number and the quality of the tide battles were increasing day by day. No body knew why that was happening and even the king was now invested in tide battles making Axel the first knight.

Personally, Morgan felt that the king was just doing this as a marketing scheme cause Axel was clearly not experienced for such a role. But the king looked serious cause the royal family have heavily invested in Axel.

"So, do you think that I should join the league again and become a solider again?", asked Morgan in a serious tone.

"Of course not. The league is not what it was supposed to be. It is corrupted. You know that. And even if you become the solider of the league, do you think they will support you?

Your Raichu, Magneton, Electrode, Electabuzz, Kilowattrel and Manectric are still stuck in pseudo-champion rank Pokemon. Don't you want to rank them up to champion rank?"

"You mean to say that you have a way to do that?"

"I cannot guarantee you of that but if you were to train the Pokemons in a day care, you might get some insights. For the longest time, you have been sitting around that gym. If you don't change things, you will not improve. There would be a variety of Pokemons in the day care and you will gain a lot of experience for them.

Also, if you agree, I have a way to evolve Magneton and Electabuzz of yours."

"You sly young boy. You were just holding that in. Do you really have a way to further evolve them?"

"No, as of right now, I don't know the correct way to further evolve them but I can say for certain that they can further evolve. I also have some hypotheses on how to do it but I just don't have the time to involve myself in it.

"Fuck the gym. You have done enough and proven yourself that you can handle that gym. You have enough money to last 5 lifetimes. What more do you need?

You can just give the gym to Frank to handle. I have taught him enough. Just give him some of your Pokemons. The rating of the gym will go down but it will slowly rise. Frank is a good trainer. He just need the time.

Morgan was in a pickle. From Axel's explanation, joining the day care was the most obvious choice. His Pokemons had not been able to rank up to champion rank and the day care would surely help him. Also, Axel was going to share the way to evolve two of his Pokemons. He believed in Axel cause he had proven himself before.

He was just making sure that he was not losing anything. The phone went silent for 3 minutes but the silence was very disturbing to Axel. If Morgan were to join the day care, then he would not have to worry about the day care.

"Ok, let's do it. I will hand over the gym to Frank and then be there in a week."

Frank was not thinking much about the proposal before but when Axel proposed this to his father and his father agreed, Frank felt that he wanted to do it too. But both of them could not go to day care. Someone must handle the gym's responsibility.

"Frank, do you want to join the day care?", asked Morgan.

"I don't know but I know that Tide Battles is the future and I want to imprint my name in the history. I feel that the gym would not be so valuable in the future.

I may not want to join the day care but I do want to participate in the tide battles."

"Ok, then let's do it. We will appoint someone for the gym and if the gym's reputation goes down, we will just transfer it to someone. We have enough money and reputation to last for a lifetime.

Why don't you also join me in the day care?"

Morgan was clearly saying this cause he wanted to have some father-son time and he also knew that tide battles were going to be the future. But this was still the huge risk that he was taking.

"Axel, what the hell am I hearing? You are calling people all over the world for your mercenary team and day care but you didn't even think about Venu family? The family that raised you? You are an elder of the family. Take some responsibility.", shouted Angela.

She was clearly angry with Axel. Such a good chance was there and she didn't even know about it?

He was amazed at how fast Angela got the news. It had not even been an hour and she already knew about him contacting Frank and Morgan. That was some next-level shit.
