Player Awakening: I Become A Lord In Game-Like World-Chapter 46: Three Hour Short War
Damage was inevitable, the walls and stone gate suffered significant damage, even Caleb could see the durability of the building decreasing.
Even so, Caleb’s army unit consisting of Leonidas’ and William’s army units managed to repel the enemy.
Dozens of monsters were injured and died, leaving their bodies lying in front of the three city gates: south, east, and west.

Caleb’s army managed to kill 23 units of monsters attacking the two sides of the city gate, east and west.
Despite getting the victory, Caleb also swallowed a bitter pill realizing that the number of his troops who died had also increased, becoming 29 units in total.
From what he saw, the 29 units came from infantry and cavalry units. As for the Arash units, they were not affected due to their favorable location.
Caleb called the builder and ordered him to start making repairs. The main repairs were done on the stone gate, as the monsters focused a lot of their attacks on that building. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

Not only one stone gate was repaired, but Caleb did it on two other stone gates. In total he spent 300 gold and 300 stone for the cost of repairing the building.
The gate opened, two units of troops walked in from two different directions, east and west. The number of Leonidas’ units seemed significantly reduced, in contrast to Wallace’s army units.
From the military info Caleb brought up, he saw a reduction of 21 units from the Infantry units. However, in contrast to William’s unit which only received a death of 8 troops.
"Is it over?" asked William, his face and uniform covered in monster bloodstains.
"It’s done. There should be 50 units of monsters, we’ve only killed 47," replied Caleb.
The man looked back, asking Commander Arash The Archer to spread his troop units across the city walls. Caleb suspected that three other troop units were attacking at the north gate.
"I’d better go take them out. It’s only three units," William replied.
Caleb refused. William and Leonidas had had a tough day, fighting a horde of monsters of different levels.
From Leonidas’ direction, Caleb could see that the commander’s HP bar was reduced to a yellow color or around 65%.
"You’ve been fighting monsters at the cost of your lives. You deserve to rest," Caleb replied.
"Allow me to rest for a moment to recover my HP, sir," Leonidas pleaded, Caleb nodded.
Not only Leonidas, but all of his troops were placed in another area while recovering their HP on their own. Caleb turned to the side, asking William to do the same.
"Alright. My unit is badly injured after all. They need to rest for a while," William said, Caleb smiled at how easily William obeyed him when he saw his injured unit.
They went to different places, precisely in each camp. Infantry in Infantry Camp, and so on. If the hospital building was in place, perhaps they could recover faster.

Even 50 units of monsters have been killed. The Monster Chaos Event had ended with Caleb’s victory.
However, the announcement of the winner would not appear until the duration of the event was up, which was 2 hours left.
The gate in the east opened, Caleb heard the sound and saw a group of scouts coming in. It was Jennie.
"I see monster carcasses piled up near the east gate. Did you manage to defeat them all?" Jennie asked.
"Yes. I’m not going to have them come and destroy my town hall, am I?" asked Caleb.
"Of course, if you lose against this event, I’ll doubt your identity as CL_Ellise," Jennie retorted.
"Don’t call me that too often. There’s a CL_Ellise here and he’s using that username because he idolizes me," Caleb replied.
"Really? I don’t know what his expression will be when he finds out you’re the real CL_Ellise," Jennie said.
Jennie looked at the area around Caleb’s city, clearly seeing the city’s repair process in progress.
Although Caleb was the target of the monster chaos event, Jennie saw minor damage to his town, only damage to the stone walls and gates.
"The Chaos Event is coming to an end. You’ll get your reward," Jennie explained.
"Yeah, I don’t know what kind of reward I’ll get. But since it’s a mid and high level treasure chest, it must be a good one," said Caleb.
"Sure. They’ll probably give you a lot of army bundles for winning this event," Jennie chimed in.
"I don’t know. We’ll have to see," Caleb replied.
From the west, Caleb saw Liliana coming without her escorting army. Caleb was startled with widened eyes, Jennie tapped her forehead in astonishment at Liliana’s sensitivity.
’Geez, where did he find such an innocent girl?’ Jennie complained, sighing.
Caleb arrived in front of Liliana and tried to ascertain the woman’s condition. She was safe, she hadn’t been attacked by any monsters, it was because the surroundings of the target had become aggressive, monsters would attack anyone in the area.
"Thank goodness you’re okay," Caleb said.
"You don’t have to worry. I’m not—"
"How can I not worry?! You went from the safest place to a dangerous place alone, without an escort! Are you planning to kill yourself?" Caleb asked, scolding Liliana.
"I-I’m sorry."
"Looks like you forgot to explain something to her, Caleb. Don’t scold a girl that young, she doesn’t know anything," said Jennie, acting like a big sister to Liliana.
Jennie held both of Liliana’s shoulders, the woman began to explain why Caleb was angry. It was because of the aggressive times of the monsters around Sovereign_Night’s town hall territory.
"Since Caleb’s town hall is the target of this event, then indirectly the monster hordes close to this area will be aggressive," Jennie replied.
"Caleb is angry because he’s afraid that you’ll die in an attack by a monster horde. Do you understand, Lily?" asked Jennie, preferring to call Liliana Lily.
"I understand. I’m sorry," said Lily, feeling guilty for making them worry.
Caleb took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He asked why Liliana had come to his town. Liliana had come for a specific reason.
"I..."
Liliana looked at Caleb and Jennie’s eyes in turn. She wanted to confirm what she had read on the alliance chat page. However, she was too afraid to ask. She was afraid Caleb would get angry like the other day.
"What are you?" asked Jennie.
Liliana sighed with a smile, "I just came to see your condition firsthand."
