Pause System: Harem In The Apocalypse-147 Chapter 146
At the shore of The Kingdom of Khouria, the tribe's girl could be seen, sitting by the docks.
"Off they go..." She muttered, as the final fleet disappeared.
She slowly got up and turned her back away from the ocean before making her way towards the market.
Most of the Horned ones had left their homes to wish their families safe travels as they were sent back to the war.
She on the other hand still needed to go get her things set up for her own family so she didn't have time to spare.
She had already let her curiousity get the best of her for the festival, she had no plans of letting it happen again.
-Memory.
She was leaned against the wall watching the fireworks above her head.
This was after they had gone through most of the games and scene as many ongoing events as they could. 𝗳𝒓𝙚e𝓌e𝚋𝙣𝚘𝐯𝙚𝙡.𝑐૦m
"So, are you enjoying the festival?" Gray asked as he approached her with a sweet on his hand.
It was a wooden stick which had impaled a glazed, sweet red looking fruit which resembled an apple, it was apparently tasty.
She gave him a wary look before nodding.
"That's good, we're leaving tomorrow so I wanted to at least get your name before that. What is it?" Gray asked.
She looked at him in a confused manner but still gave ended up giving her name.
"Sana..." She said.
After hearing her name, Gray handed the sweet over the her.
"Nice name, I'm Gray."
-Memory End
She glanced over at her hand before muttering. "Gray..."
She glanced back at the shore once more and wondered how many other odd people were out in other worlds like him.

*BOOM!*
Giant flaming balls were being hurled straight at floating naval fleets.
Ruby who stood at the edge of one of the biggest fleet crossed her arms, her black hair and cloak swayed back from the powerful wind pressure.
The smoke clouds created from the explosions subsided, all of the fleets were seemingly unaffected.
A forcefield was deployed around them just before the explosions could hit.
The beast-like creatures continued to hurl more and more fireballs from the top of the buildings which they were on, but the forcefields stayed strong.
It made sense, after all they were powered by an Anti-Explosion Shard which reacted to projectiles.
The only problem with it was that it was weak against people themselves, it protected from projectiles, but if the enemy made its way into the ship, then there'd be no point.
One of the reptilian creatures, leapt towards the fleet at the far end of their formation and began wreaking havoc.
Fortunately it wasn't afflicted with the zombie virus unlike the others beneath the ship.
"Ruby, your orders?" Charlotte asked, her hands stretched out towards one of the reptilian creatures.
A cold sweat flowed down Ruby's nervous face.
She was putting on a brave front but now that the responsibility was actually on her shoulder, she was having an internal panic.
Ruby raised the voice amplification stone up to the air with her trembling arm.
She glanced over at Gray who was standing near the edge of the deck. He had a troubled expression as he stared in the direction of the ship under attack.
The two made eye contact and he nodded at her. His look showed faith.
Ruby shut her eyes and took in a deep breath.
Right as she was about to raise her voice and give out an order, she noticed something.
She had been so preoccupied and focused on the state of the city that she hadn't even noticed it.
In the far distance, Air ships could be seen. They weren't like the wooden naval fleets which belonged to her Kingdom, but completely different.
They seemed to be powered by some sort of technology as there were literal giant glowing gear pieces grinding on them.
There were too many to count, even the beasts were attacking it.
She moved closer to the edge of the fleets to confirm if her suspicions were correct.
They were.
There was another humanoid race fighting the humans, it wasn't the horned ones and they were too far away for her to actually recognise what race they were.
She could tell they weren't human.
She lowered her stone.
"Gray!" She called out to him. "Another race has started to take over!"
"Yeah, we noticed!" Violet replied as she leaned over the ship's edge.
To everyone's surprise, Gray leapt off the ship to gain a better understanding on the chaos which was unfolding before them.
They had appeared at a horrible moment, during the time they were away another race had made its move.
Now wasn't the time to be unsure of what to do, as the new empress of the horned ones in Khouria, she needed to act.
"My people! Destroy the beast, keep yourselves safe and aid the humans! Careful because another race has made its appearance!"

"What the fuck is going on!?" Gray asked, as he plunged towards the top of a building.
A distortion appeared in the space beside him, and Ria's figure suddenly emerged, with a rapier in hand.
"Brother, what's happening?" Ria asked, with a surprised expression.
Gray wrapped his arm around her waist bringing her closer right before they collided with the rooftop.
"That's what I'm trying to figure out!"
[Pause.]
Their figures were suspended in the air and their momentum had been cancelled.
[Unpause.]
Gray's eyes glanced left and right as they dropped onto the rooftop.
They were surrounded by beast-like reptilian monsters from all sides.
"Left." He said. 𝐟r𝒆ℯ𝘄𝑒𝒃𝚗𝒐𝘃e𝗹.c𝘰𝐦
"Right." She called out.
The two kicked off from the ground, charging in the directions which they had chosen.
The nearest beasts throat expanded as Gray drew closer. A ball like object could be seen rolling up from the inside as blazing sparks escaped from it's mouth.
Another fire attack was coming.

"We ended the war... So why...?" Lara asked, her expression filled with worry as she rushed out from inside of the deck.
Kylo and the others were accompanied with her.
"Lara, stay here!" Said Aurora as she suddenly leapt off the edge of the ship with Violet in her arms. "We'll be back whenever we're injured! Help Ruby manage the things!"
Those were her last words before their figures faded off into the distance as they plummeted down to the city with one another.
