Pampered By My Fake Boyfriend's Brother-Chapter 536 Hi
"Are you trying to buy a suit for your boyfriend?" The salesperson smiled and then made a gesture to invite her, "Please follow me to see the suits in the store, let’s see if there’s one you like?"
An Yin was about to say no, but she saw the salesperson had already started walking ahead, so she bit her lip and followed hesitantly.
The store was very spacious, divided into many sections.
Almost every section had customers selecting clothes, and An Yin also noticed that most of the customers there were very well-dressed, with high heels and accessories as standard.
In contrast, she was wearing canvas shoes while walking through the aisle, noticing that many eyes were on her. To An Yin, it seemed like they were mocking her.
What she didn’t know was that most of the gazes cast her way were in awe; the young lady possessed a stunningly beautiful face. Her clothing appeared simple, but to others, her face was impressive enough.
As fellow women themselves, seeing someone more beautiful naturally draws them in.
"This section of suits is more youthful; take a look!" The salesperson spoke while fetching a glass of water from the corner.
"Thank you!" An Yin was taken aback by the excellent service and took it nervously. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
At this moment, looking at the colorful suits in front of her, An Yin couldn’t imagine what Bao Shaojin would look like in any of them.
Noticing the young lady’s troubled expression, the salesperson tentatively asked, "How old is your boyfriend?"
This question from the salesperson dumbfounded An Yin.
Concerning anything about Bao Shaojin, she didn’t seem to know very well. When they were together, it was mostly during times she was in need. Even in usual conversations, the topics revolved around herself, with the man rarely mentioning anything about himself.
"It doesn’t matter if you don’t know. You can roughly describe your boyfriend’s preferences or color, so I can more accurately recommend some suitable suits for him."
The salesperson’s smile was bright, and even her speech was soft and comforting to the ears.
"He likes... black." An Yin mustered up courage to say, but she actually wanted to tell the salesperson she didn’t have a boyfriend. However, she didn’t dare to; after all, she’s already in the men’s store. If she said she didn’t have a boyfriend, they might not believe her.
"Black." The salesperson repeated, "Please follow me; the dark colors are over here."
An Yin followed the salesperson to another section, stepping up a short staircase to a mezzanine. The interior decor was simple and elegant; even the items around exuded high-end taste, making An Yin feel a sense of inferiority.
"You can take a look at these; they are this year’s latest designs." The salesperson pointed at a rack of deep black suits.
An Yin slowly stepped forward; each suit was protected by a dust cover, vaguely revealing their styles.
With just one glance, An Yin noticed the set hanging at the forefront.
Seeing her fixate on that particular suit, the salesperson stepped forward and picked it up, "How about I take this one down for you to see?"
"No need yet." An Yin quickly waved her hand.
The salesperson looked puzzled, "You don’t want to look?"
"I want to ask, how much is the set in your hand?" An Yin asked in a low voice.
A few meters away, other customers were choosing clothes, with slight noises occasionally drifting over.
"Forty-nine thousand eight hundred," the salesperson smiled.
"Forty-nine thousand..." An Yin exclaimed, eyes wide with disbelief. Although she knew the things in malls were expensive, she hadn’t expected menswear to be so pricey.
Noticing the young girl’s shocked expression, the salesperson’s smile froze, promptly reminding her, "Miss, the cheapest suit here is nineteen thousand eight hundred. If you don’t intend to purchase, I’ll take my leave."
As a salesperson, their performance and salary were tied; each sale earned them a substantial commission. Nobody wanted to waste time on non-buyers.
"I-I’m sorry to disturb you." An Yin, flushed red, set down her water glass and started heading downstairs.
The salesperson saw this but had no intention of stopping her, starting to organize the suit in her hand.
An Yin took a few steps, finding the aisle blocked by several women, she spoke timidly, "Excuse me, could you please let me through?"
Her voice was as soft as a mosquito, and the women were busy deliberating on which set to choose, so none of them heard An Yin.
Seeing this, An Yin could only stand weakly in place, waiting for them to finish their conversation and make way for her.
Meanwhile, in front of An Yin, the women started chatting even more animatedly.
"Our President Su is truly blessed, marrying such a considerate wife. Look at this, Madam Su even brought us here for reference on choosing a suit, haha..."
"Indeed, everyone knows how good Madam Su is to President Su."
"..."
As the jokes grew bigger, Madam Su covered her mouth, smiling at the others, "You all must have honeyed tongues, so sweet!"
"Haha..."
"Haha..."
Everyone laughed heartily. Soon after, Madam Su pointed at two suits in the salesperson’s hands, "Wrap these up for me."
"Of course, Madam Su!" The salesperson beamed with joy.
They then descended the stairs together.
The salesperson followed respectfully, not forgetting to remind as they went down, "Madam Su, watch your step!"
Seeing them heading downstairs, An Yin started moving too.
The salesperson who had taken An Yin upstairs joined them and, upon passing An Yin, her face darkened. She deliberately lowered her head to avoid the overhead cameras and whispered, only audible to both of them, "Browsing without money, must be bored out of your mind!"
An Yin halted, blushing furiously, and stood dumbfounded in place, watching as the salesperson walked briskly ahead.
At this moment, An Yin wished she could dig a hole to escape. She wished she could bow her head down to her chest, and upon descending the stairs, she looked anxiously for the exit. While cutting across the lobby, she wasn’t paying attention, and someone nearby stepped back, causing them to collide directly.
"Ouch..." a woman exclaimed.
"Ah..." An Yin quickly grabbed something nearby to steady herself.
"Thud thud..." The sound of things falling to the ground rang out one after another, creating quite a commotion nearby.
An Yin stood trembling slightly, seeing the belts from the rack beside her toppled over. Not far away, a woman was sitting on the floor, glaring at her ferociously.
"I-I’m sorry, truly sorry, I didn’t mean it." An Yin stammered through the scene, her mind blank.
