Pampered By My Fake Boyfriend's Brother-Chapter 16: Hosting a Dinner Party
Chapter 16 - 16: Hosting a Dinner Party
At this moment, An Yin seemed to think of something and leaned over to Jiang Keke, "Didn't you go to the crew for an audition before? How did it go?" If it weren't for Bao Cheng's cousin mentioning it suddenly last night, An Yin would've almost forgotten.
When this matter was brought up, Jiang Keke was filled with excitement, unable to hide the joy in her heart, "A Cheng helped me get in touch with the crew. They wanted me to audition, but then something happened, and the crew asked me to play the role directly." When she heard this news, her indescribable delight was evident.
Her field of study had nothing to do with acting. For Jiang Keke, acting was just an interest.
Initially, she didn't have too much hope.
She didn't expect that just mentioning it to Bao Cheng would make her wish come true. This was beyond Jiang Keke's expectations.
Luckily, the crew didn't ask her to audition. Jiang Keke felt very apprehensive about acting, even though Bao Cheng had privately arranged a professional acting coach for her.
"Oh." An Yin nodded.
That means Keke's matter with the crew is settled.
Unexpectedly, that man is quite efficient.
If he finds out that it's Keke who's going to the crew, and not her...
An Yin felt a chill down her spine.
Not daring to think further, An Yin withdrew her thoughts. In the future, there would probably be no intersection between her and Bao Cheng's cousin. Thankfully!

Inside the car.
Bao Shaojin was holding a contraceptive pill, his face livid.
Assistant Lin didn't dare to breathe too loudly, completely at a loss. What happened to President Bao? Ever since that girl got off the car, his face had been getting colder.
While Assistant Lin was lost in his thoughts, he saw President Bao taking out his phone.
The phone rang only once before it was picked up by the other party.
"Brother, brother." Bao Cheng greeted nervously.
"Busy lately?" Bao Shaojin asked in a deep voice.
Bao Cheng was silent for a moment, "..."
"The men of the Bao Family should have some responsibility. Don't toy with others when you've given them a legitimate identity." Bao Shaojin's voice was cold. After saying this, he hung up the call without waiting for a response.
On the other end, Bao Cheng was so frightened his legs trembled, almost losing his balance.
He had just started seeing Jiang Keke, and in the blink of an eye, his cousin called. Was this... a warning?
Moreover, how did his cousin know so much about his every move?
Thinking about it, cold sweat dripped down Bao Cheng's forehead.
His cousin really minded too much!
In the past, he had girlfriends too, and nothing was ever said. So why is he being watched this time? No matter how much Bao Cheng racked his brain, he couldn't understand.
Forget it, in the future, his relationship with Keke should remain more discreet!
Try not to let his cousin catch any evidence.

Besides, how is he irresponsible? How is he playing with someone's feelings? He and Keke are in a normal relationship, both unmarried, it's a mutual consent thing, isn't it? His cousin's words seemed to suggest he was a scumbag, abandoning people once he's done with them!
It's baffling.

Lately, An Yin had been going around alone.
After Jiang Keke's classes, she'd stick to Bao Cheng, and at night, she'd have acting lessons to attend.
The only thing that An Yin found hard to get used to was that Su Yifeng frequently appeared in front of her.
They were in different majors, and even their teaching buildings were quite far apart, but he would pop up from time to time.
After class one day, as An Yin walked out, she saw a familiar figure standing in the corridor by the classroom door.
An Yin was momentarily stunned.
"Junior." Su Yifeng's voice was clear, giving off a refreshing feeling.
"Senior." An Yin gave a faint smile.
Surrounding classmates all turned to look at them with gossipy expressions.
An Yin noticed others' gazes and quickly lowered her head, whispering, "Senior, what can I do for you?"
As she spoke, her pace quickened towards the stairwell.
Su Yifeng kept pace with her, seemingly oblivious to the curious eyes around them.
"Actually, it's nothing much. I just haven't been in touch for a while and wanted to see..." After saying this, Su Yifeng realized his words might sound inappropriate, and quickly added, "to see how you're doing, if you're feeling down because of your mom's illness."
"Thank you for your concern." An Yin replied, genuinely, "My mom's doing much better now."
Hearing his concern for her mother, An Yin felt warmth in her heart.
"That's good!" Su Yifeng nodded.
The two walked out of the teaching building, arriving at a fork in the road.
An Yin stopped hesitantly, "Senior, have you had dinner?" Her mom had mentioned many times how considerate Su Yifeng was, especially during her illness, when he would bring fruits, dinner, and always had her in his thoughts.
An Yin knew her mom's intentions, and she didn't want to owe anyone anything.
Perhaps inviting him to dinner tonight and transferring back the money he spent would be the perfect solution!
This dinner, she must host!
"Not yet." Su Yifeng shook his head.
"Then tonight, let me treat you to dinner, to thank you for often visiting my mom and helping me a lot." An Yin looked up at him, seeing his tall figure.
Her eyes were sincere, her bright gaze blinking, appearing innocent and naive, her delicate face, fair skin, and every gesture carried a classical fairy-like beauty. Even though he often saw her, every time he did, Su Yifeng's heart would skip a beat.
She was so wonderful!
"Alright." Su Yifeng replied.
"I don't know any good places nearby, could you recommend one?" Saying this, An Yin felt a bit shy.
She rarely ate out, and the few times she did were for Keke's birthday or similar occasions.
"Sure, follow me." Su Yifeng readily agreed without refusing.
Seeing this, An Yin breathed a sigh of relief.
The two walked out of the school gate side by side, and Su Yifeng took out his phone to call for a ride, to which An Yin looked on curiously.
"Haha, the place I'm recommending isn't around here." Su Yifeng explained as he looked at her.
"Oh." An Yin nodded timidly.
Once in the car, An Yin suddenly felt a bit nervous.
She hadn't brought cash, and there wasn't much money in her WeChat wallet. If they went to an expensive restaurant, then... An Yin thought with a troubled expression.
"We're here."
As An Yin was lost in thought, Su Yifeng reminded her.
An Yin raised her head and followed him off the car.
The place was some distance from the city center. Overall, it wasn't too noisy, but the street gave a very refined impression, especially with the surrounding buildings exuding luxury. The people coming here to spend must be either rich or noble.
For a moment, An Yin hesitated, looking at the boy in front of her.
"Senior, are we eating here?" An Yin asked softly.
"Yes." Su Yifeng replied politely.
"This place, it must be quite expensive, right?" An Yin spoke vaguely.
She wasn't the type to put on a front, and if the cost here was too high, she felt it was better to tell the other party early to avoid any awkwardness later.
