"I can teleport and make singularity things and have a super cool space domain!" the small dragon added proudly, puffing out his chest. "My main occupation is a Master's taxi driver, I take him around the world, wherever he wants to go.

Charlotte giggled, a laugh that Arthur hadn't heard in far too long. "You're definitely both powerful and cute. Best combination ever."

She gently scratched behind Aether's horns, and the void dragon made a pleased rumbling sound that might have been the dragon equivalent of purring.

"Master's sister is really nice!" Aether announced with obvious approval. "Aether likes her lots already! Can Aether help protect her from bad things?"

"Of course you can," Arthur confirmed, pleased at how naturally they'd connected. "Charlotte is precious to both of us."

Charlotte looked up from Aether with eyes that shimmered slightly with emotion. "I have a dragon guardian now? This day just keeps getting better."

Arthur smiled at the scene before standing. "Alright, enough bonding for now. We need to get to the guild headquarters so I can officially register you. Aether, can you teleport all three of us?"

"Easy peasy!"

Before Aether transported them, Arthur looked at Jasmine who stood at the side with a smile on her face. "You don't want to go to the capital just yet. Right?"

Jasmine nodded. "Not yet, I still haven't got into terms with everything. I will let you know when it's time."

Arthur nodded before giving her a full set of epic items that he had gained from his recent hunts. "This is just a gift, and it's by no means the payment for what you have done for me and my sister. I will compensate you one day, Jasmine. Thanks, once again."

Jasmine looked at him with a wry smile on her face that she couldn't hide. "You've done enough already."

Spatial energy began gathering around Aether as he prepared the teleportation. Charlotte stood close to Arthur, still holding onto his arm for support, her gaze fixed on the void dragon with continued amazement.

"Ready?" Aether asked cheerfully.

"Ready," Arthur and Charlotte confirmed simultaneously.

Reality folded around them as Aether activated his spatial manipulation, the medical room in Village #419 dissolving as dimensional travel carried them across impossible distances.

When reality reasserted itself, they stood in the guild headquarters—the central base Arthur had established for Power Guild operations. The structure was impressive, built within Armageddon's safer zones but reinforced with both magical protections and strategic defenses.

"Welcome to Power Guild," Arthur announced, gesturing at their surroundings.

Charlotte looked around with wide eyes, taking in the organised chaos of guild operations. Members moved through hallways with purpose, equipment storage occupied dedicated rooms, and the entire facility radiated the controlled energy of a well-managed organisation.

"This is yours?" Charlotte asked with obvious admiration. "You built all this?"

"With the help of the system," Arthur admitted. "But yes. And now you're going to be part of it."

Arthur led Charlotte to the guild registry interface—a terminal that managed member enrollment and benefit distribution through system integration. He placed his hand on the surface, activating his guild master privileges.

"Place your hand here," Arthur instructed, gesturing to the terminal beside his.

Charlotte complied, her palm pressing against the cool crystal. Immediately, light flared between them as the system processed her registration.

Charlotte gasped as notifications flooded her vision, her eyes widening with each successive message. "Oh! I can see the notifications you were talking about! Wow, this is so cool!"

Her gaze darted back and forth as she read through the benefits.

"Arthur, this is amazing!" Charlotte exclaimed, her voice carrying genuine excitement.

"That's just the beginning," Arthur said with satisfaction. "I can also lend you skills I've acquired."

He reached into his spatial storage, withdrawing several skill books he'd been accumulating. These were abilities he'd gained from defeated beasts but never bothered using himself—his legendary and mythical-rank skills were simply too powerful to justify learning rare-rank alternatives.

But for Charlotte, who currently had only her Mana Control skill, these would be perfect foundation abilities.

Arthur laid out two skill books on a nearby table, their covers glowing with contained magical knowledge:

<Fireball>

<Rank: Rare>

<Active>

<Description: Conjures a sphere of concentrated flame that can be launched at targets. Cooldown: 2 seconds.>

--

<Light Shield>

<Rank: Rare>

<Active>

<Description: Conjures a shield of solidified light that absorbs incoming damage. Duration: 30 seconds or until broken. Cooldown: 10 seconds.>

Charlotte stared at the glowing books with fascination. "These are... actual magical skills? Like in games?"

"Exactly like in games," Arthur confirmed. "Because reality basically is a game now. These skill books contain compressed knowledge that the system can directly implant into your consciousness."

He gestured toward the books. "To use them, just pick one up and will yourself to learn it. The book will dissolve into light and transfer its contents directly into your mind. You'll instantly understand how to cast the spell, though mastering it will still take practice."

Charlotte reached out hesitantly toward the Fireball skill book, her fingers brushing its glowing cover. "It won't hurt, will it?"

"Not at all," Arthur assured her. "It feels like... remembering something you'd forgotten. Knowledge that becomes part of you."

Charlotte took a breath and picked up the Fireball skill book with both hands. She closed her eyes, focusing her intent on learning the ability contained within.

The book burst into brilliant orange-red light, dissolving into motes of flame that swirled around Charlotte before flowing into her body through her chest. Her eyes snapped open with shock as magical knowledge flooded her consciousness—the geometric patterns needed to structure fire mana, the mental gestures required to shape and launch the projectile, the instinctive understanding of how to adjust power output.

"I... I know how to make fireballs now," Charlotte breathed, staring at her hands with wonder. "I can feel it. I know exactly what to do."

"That's how skill books work," Arthur explained with a smile. "Instant comprehension. Now try the defensive skill."
