On Hiatus: God's Personal Reasons-Chapter 171: #Earth’s Strongest Uncle (2)
Chapter 171: #Earth’s Strongest Uncle (2)
“Keke. Choi Bong-Shik, serve me.”
“W-why should I?”
“If you refuse,” Yu Il-Shin raised his forefinger and continued, “die.”
Choi Bong-Shik was still unaware of what the bum was about to do to him.
Rooooar!
Suddenly the world changed—more accurately speaking, his world had.
W-what’s this!
The first thing he saw was a foot the size of a mountain.
Trembling, he slowly shifted his gaze upward, craning his neck. The colossal Yu Il-Shin looked down at him, exuding a fiery red aura. A pair of gigantic horns sprouted from his head, making him look like a demon.
-Die, Insect.
With a disinterested look, Yu Il-Shin pointed his index finger at Choi Bong-Shik.
“Hyiie!”
Ruuumble!
The finger approached him, about to squash him like a bug.
“Aaargh!”
Choi Bong-Shik tried to run using his teleportation skills.
Huh?! I-I can’t use my abilities!
This must be how Sun Wukong felt like under the Buddha’s palm.
“Aaaiieee! I-I’ll serve you! Please spare my life!” Choi Bong-Shik screamed as Yu Il-Shin’s finger closed in.
-Really?
Swoosh!
In the next second, everything returned back to normal, as if whatever happened earlier was just a lie. Choi Bong-Shik shivered as he stared at Yu Il-Shin, who’d returned to the size of an ordinary human.
What was that all about?
“Since you’re willing, I’ll accept it.”
One thing was for certain: this man’s eyes were cold and devoid of emotions. This chuuni psychopath would kill him without a second thought!
Lifting Choi Bong-Shik’s chin with a finger, Yu Il-Shin said, “Now, repeat after me. I believe in Yu Il-Shin.”
Choi Bong-Shik didn’t know what this man was up to, but he knew the main priority was staying alive!
“I-I believe in Yu Il-Shin!”
Ding!

Huh? That’s weird...
After Choi Bong-Shik was made to repeat that sentence, an invisible thread seemed to connect both of them.
Then, Yu Il-Shin spoke to the dumbfounded Choi Bong-Shik. “My follower, Choi Bong-Shik. Here is your first task.”
Follower? What bullshit is that?
And yet, contrary to his will, his body moved on its own. He kneeled respectfully, like a servant awaiting instruction from his master.
Huh? What the hell is wrong with my body?
He was going crazy. The next command from Yu Il-Shin was crazier.
“Bring us to Dysneiland.”
“What?” Choi Bong-Shik doubted his ears.
“Uncle! Are we really going to Dysneiland?”
“Yeah. Bong-Shik will take us there.”
“Yippeee! I can’t wait!” Seong-Yeon jumped in delight, her eyes twinkling. Such an adorable sight it was.
But that’s just asking for the impossible!
Teleportation wasn't omnipotent? Even the teleportation skill of the highest-ranking Spatial-type Hunter had its limits. Choi Bong-Shik’s skill allowed a maximum travel distance of only 2 km at a time.
Of course, using the skill a couple of times would allow him to cover longer distances within a shorter period of time. However, it was only possible when he was traveling alone.
The increase in load during teleportation would double the mental and physical load on the Hunter. The nearest Dysneiland was in Japan. Aside from the distance, he couldn’t possibly teleport all three of them across the sea?!
“Bong-Shik, why are you just standing there? Let’s go now.”
“Huh? Eh?” Choi Bong-Shik’s body was moving on its own again, according to Yu Il-Shin’s command.
Flash! Swoosh!
Flash! Swoooosh!
He grabbed onto both Yu Il-Shin and his niece, and began teleporting them. The result was as expected.
Plop!
“Haa... haa...! Bleeegh!”
Before they could cover 100 km, Choi Bong-Shik fell to his knees, nauseating. He looked haggard.
“Uncle[1], are you alright?” Seong-Yeon patted his back gently with her tiny hands.
Choi Bong-Shik was moved.
What an angel.
Somewhat influenced by Seong-Yeon's action, Yu Il-Shin reached out as well.
Grab! Craaack!
He roughly grabbed Choi Bong-Shik's head.
“Aaaargh! I-it hurts!”
“Such a weak man, still needing my help. Hold my hand, Chae Seong-Yeon.”
“Okay!” Seong-Yeon answered.
“Skill Sharing, Choi Bong-Shik.”
What was Yu Il-Shin doing? Choi Bong-Shik was confused.
“Ruler of Space.”
In the next moment, something unbelievable happened. The world around them warped, distorting. He recognized it as his own power, but how had Yu Il-Shin managed to use it? Moreover, its scale far surpassed his own limits. Unable to withstand the power, a crack formed in the air, as if a gate had formed right there and then.
“Aaaah!” Choi Bong-Shik let out an ear-piercing scream.
Flash! Baaaam!
There was a dazzling, white light, followed by a deafening explosion. Moments later, Yu Il-Shin let go of Choi Bong-Shik's head.
“We're here.”
Yu Il-Shin's handprint was imprinted vividly on Choi Bong-Shik's face. However, Choi Bong-Shik was too dumbfounded by the scene before him. The life-sized characters from the Disney animation—Miki, Mini, and Ronald—were dancing happily, greeting the park visitors.
Dysneiland, the original theme park in Anaheim, California, was there before them. The very same one he’d visited once with his parents, when he was very young.
“What’s wrong, Bong-Shik? I brought us here on purpose. Aren’t you familiar with this place?”
Chills went down Choi Bong-Shik’s spine.
He brought us to a place in my memories? How on earth did he...?
With arms crossed, Yu Il-Shin looked down haughtily at Choi Bong-Shik. “Guide us.”
...That was how they ended up in the current situation.
Yu Il-Shin called out to him again, “Bong-Shik.”
“Yes! Here’s your churros delivery! Have one too, Niece.”
“Wow! It’s delicious!”
“Hmm, it’s not bad.” Yu Il-Shin took a bite and quickly tossed it into the trash can.
Choi Bong-Shik had stood in line for half an hour to buy that!

“Uncle, you’re bad for throwing food away!” Seong-Yeon shouted.
Yu Il-Shin smirked. “Why is that?”
“M-my teacher at school says that you’re a bad person for throwing food away.”
“Keke. I’m no human—I’m a great malevolent god. Evil and violent deeds are befitting of a being like me.”
Seong-Yeon pondered over his words for a moment then followed suit, tossing her churros into the trash can as well. Then, she looked at Yu Il-Shin with eyes full of anticipation.
“Uncle! Did I do well?”
“Keke. You’re learning fast. As expected of my niece.” Yu Il-Shin gave her a thumbs-up.
Once again, Choi Bong-Shik came to a realization that this guy was a madman—a lost cause that one should avoid like plague.
Just where did such a monstrous person come from?
Choi Bong-Shik was desperately trying to make out Yu Il-Shin’s identity. High combat power that defeated him in a single blow, along with the psychic control that enslaved him to this point...
I’ve seen multi-ability Hunters before, but never one like this!
Multi-ability Hunters were usually B-rank Hunters at best, except for SSS-rank Hunter Royce, who was labeled the strongest Hunter around the globe.
Could this be the rumored secret weapon that South Korea was cultivating behind the scenes? Suddenly, a face flashed across Choi Bong-Shik’s mind.
C-could he be that guy in a helmet from back then?
That mysterious man in a training suit and helmet that humiliated him at the S-rank Hunter Appointment Ceremony! Now that he thought about it, they had similar builds...
Gulp!
Choi Bong-Shik looked at Yu Il-Shin, swallowing dryly. When the black helmet guy first had his MP measured, the bracelet had exploded from the immeasurable value. Maybe the device wasn’t glitched at all?
He asked cautiously, “Uhm, aren’t you... the S-rank Hunter Yi-Shin, who was at the recent appointment ceremony?”
Yi-Shin was the pseudonym Yu Il-Shin had adopted with the Hunter Association. However, the Malevolent Yu Il-Shin had disconnected from the main body by then, so he had no clue.
Grimacing like a demon, Yu Il-Shin grabbed Choi Bong-Shik’s collar. “I’m not a Hunter, but a great malevolent god! Never mention the name 'Yi-Shin' before me again, or die!”
In fact, Malevolent Yu Il-Shin despised that name. He was furious every time Main Yu Il-Shin said that name, because it made him feel like a third-rate man in his declining years.
“Eeek! I-I was wrong! Please forgive me just this once!”
Once again, his unnecessary question asserted the fact that this person was a madman.
“I’ll spare you this time since you’re our guide.” Yu Il-Shin released his grip on Choi Bong-Shik, then glanced around at their surroundings. “There are so many humans here.”
This is the world-famous Dysneiland. What did you expect?
Yu Il-Shin was irked by the situation. Just for a single ride, he’d have to stand in line for over two hours. Like him, Seong-Yeon also showed a face of disappointment and exhaustion, unlike when they first arrived earlier.
“Bong-Shik.”
“Yes sir!” Choi Bong-Shik hurried before Yu Il-Shin, wondering what his next task was.
Yu Il-Shin pointed at the visitors and said, “Get rid of all the humans.”
Choi Bong-Shik doubted his ears. “P-pardon?”
“Did you not hear me? Get rid of them.”
Choi Bong-Shik went white as a sheet. There were roughly tens of thousands of visitors there! How could he possibly get rid of all of them?!
Just as he was at a loss for what to do, a creepy siren, similar to the sound of metal scraping, rang in the air.
Immediately, the visitors went pale and screamed. They scattered in all directions before disappearing, as if swept away by a tide.
Yu Il-Shin grinned at Choi Bong-Shik with satisfaction. “Good one, Bong-Shik. I like you.”
Meanwhile, Choi Bong-Shik had a grim look on his face. He had lived in America before, so he knew what that siren was all about. It was a distinctive emergency alert that could only be triggered by the appearance of an S-rank crack in the area.
Riiip!
At the same time, the space around them began to crack like a hatching egg.
“N-no way! How are the cracks forming up so fast?” Choi Bong-Shik turned pale in disbelief.
What was more terrifying was the fact that there weren't just one or two monsters appearing.
Ding!
In the hands of Malevolent Yu Il-Shin was God-Maker, which he had stolen from the main body.
[Warning! Warning!]
[A group of apostles sent by High-tier God Beast of Deceit and Rapacity, seeking Yu Il-Shin’s divine power, are attempting to descend on Earth!]
-Grrrr!
-Kieeeek!
Malevolent Yu Il-Shin’s eyebrows twitched as he looked at the monsters surrounding him.
“What are these guys?”
