Hao Ren finished the naming ceremony with the tones of gifts for the twin treasure stored in the treasury. He looked at Hao Yanling in his arms, and smiled. The little girl seemed to have charmed him, because whenever Hao Ren was around she would clamor until he picked her up.

After some thinking, he realized that it could be because of the contrasting natures of the spiritual flames he and Han Lingshi had. Thus, she liked to be closer to him. Hao Ren rocked her and she smiled even while sleeping. The young man had no idea how his children would grow up to be. However, he wanted to see what the future held for these two. Yin, Yang and Agnee were very respected throughout the empire, they have garnered and gained that affection and respect from people by their hard work.

Although Hao Ren spoiled them but he also kept them grounded so that they would not misuse the power they have. Looking at little Yanling he said, "Dear, I hope that you grow up to be benevolent yet strong Princess."

Then he approached the garden in the Crescent Moon Palace, and sat down on a rocking chair. Han Lingshi was also sitting on the side with Hao Xuanshen in her arms, the boy preferred her mother's embrace. Hao Ren smiled and replied, "What we ought to do is to strengthen ourselves so that even if the future holds any tribulation, we should be able to handle it all."

Han Lingshi smiled at him. The couple had long stopped worrying about the future, and just focused on the present and to do their best. Han Lingshi asked, "Can you tell me what is going on in your mind? All this while, I haven't seen you try to condense the third halo. What is going on?"

Hao Ren smiled and replied, "I wanted to comprehend the major Dao Principle of destruction and battle. However, for that the chaos on the two continents is too shallow, I cannot just go about enticing people to fight with me, can I? So, I found that there is a place called the Eternal battlefield where the humans in the heavenly soldier realm would go on to fight with the demons of the extra terrestrial regions. However, this battlefield has its gateway closed and only opens once in a century or so. It is probably not yet due to open in the next ten years."

Han Lingshi nodded and asked, "So what will you do during this time?"

The young man shrugged and replied, "For now, I will help you handle the kids, and then when the opportunity arises I would try to go through the door and see this eternal battlefield."

Han Lingshi frowned and then sighed before she asked, "So, you can bear to stay away from me and the kids for a century?"

Hao Ren was stunned, he didn't know how to react about this. Han Lingshi saw his twisting face and erupted in laughter. She left him watching her in a daze. She said, "I am just messing with you. If my realm is strong enough, then I would like to travel with you. As for the kids, I am sure that Ma and Big sis will nurture them well. The Ye Generals are not for show either."

Hao Ren nodded and remarked, "Aren't we a couple of carefree parents? What if they grow up and refuse from recognizing us?"

Han Lingshi snorted and said, "Dare they? I will beat their butts into oblivion, blessed by the holy beasts or not."

Hao Ren chuckled and then he found Yanling in his arms had woken up, it was time for her to feed. He handed the child over to Lingshi and decided to close his eyes as he needed to meditate and recall the past battles to try and comprehend the intent of destruction hidden in all past battles.

After a few minutes, of meditation, he sighed as he opened his eyes. Although the memories in his mind were fresh, but he was unable to comprehend the intent of these two laws from these memories.

*Yeah, you thought such a thing would be easy and you could do what you want? Comprehension is something that needs to be done naturally, and not something that you can simply call up from the archives.*

Hao Ren sighed and thought, 'If only I could get a portable gateway to move between the secular continents and the Eternal Battlefield.'

Hao Ren frowned and then he decided to look through the things he had available, and then he found, ten lottery tickets left from one of the rewards that the system had given him. Thinking about it, he said, "System, withdraw the remaining heavenly lotteries."

The next moment, Hao Ren was notified of the rewards, and then he looked at a reward which was a small glass panel. Hao Ren picked it up and the details of the reward flooded his brain, Split Mirror window.

Hao Ren focused on the information which said, 'Split Mirror Window allows you to place the glass with a window to open a pathway to another place of your desire. As long as you have the scene from that place into your mind, the window will open the pathway to you.'

Hao Ren took a deep breath and then he said, 'Fucking awesome!'

Hao Ren rolled his eyes and said, 'It is about time that motherfucker did something for me. I have been taking it because of his ass all this while. So, you better shut up and let me enjoy this for once you physically disabled system.'

The two of them went back and forth while cussing each other, before they calmed down and Hao Ren opened his eyes. He looked at Han Lingshi and found that the lady had already retreated to the palace with the children, he headed towards his room as well. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Inside his room, he quickly took out the glass shard and stuck it to the window in his room, before he began to think what the eternal battlefield would look like. He imagined a place with human soldiers fighting against the extraterrestrial demons. He followed the explanation that Zhao Kang gave him and after a few minutes, he opened his eyes and found that the scenery had changed outside the room.

He looked at the scene carefully and found it to be a completely arid land that appeared so barren that it made him feel like he had come to some desert. Then he opened the window and tried to peek out of it to see what was going on. However, just as he did that, he found that his divine sense was suppressed and he could not sense anything farther than twenty meters. He could see farther with his eyes than with his divine sense.

He froze and pulled back in before the system asked, *Why didn't you go through?*

Hao Ren was baffled and told him about the restriction on the world outside and the system said, *I see, then it might be a wrong place, because you have no idea how the Eternal Battlefield looks like.*

Hao Ren nodded in agreement, it was true, he had never been to the Eternal Battlefield so how could he open a portal there? Thinking about it, he took a deep breath and closed the window and took off the glass shard. The scenery vanished and things returned to normal. Hao Ren said, "I need to find Zhao Kang, or someone who actually knows what the Eternal Battlefield is like."
