Omega Summoner-Chapter 2505: Nobility of the Night III
Chapter 2505: Nobility of the Night III
"That is quite intriguing." Adrian muttered but he did not want to admit that he actually became lost.
Adrian did not expect something like this as he is very good with directions. Demons are also gifted with impressive spatial awareness that being lost would be seen as an insult. Still, Adrian knew that he was lost as if something was making it difficult for him to find the right way.
"It seems that there is a formation present." Adrian thought as he immediately switched his perspective from a demon to that of a scribe. frёewebnoѵēl.com
Adrian immediately took out some prized magic paper and started to write runes on them. As soon as he finished, he activated the newly crafted talisman. The talismans he made are Epic tier Talisman of Truth. The Talisman of Truth basically reveals what the user is missing or needs in order to move forward.
When the Talisman of Truth suddenly started to ignite, the scenery of a lush and vibrant jungle before him suddenly vanished. The trees looked like they would trap sunlight while the ground looked like it was dull and desolate. A few seconds later, runes suddenly appeared on the ground itself as the Talisman of Truth revealed the anomaly to Adrian.
The ground and even the trees had runes on them, but they were not written using magic paper or special ink. All the runes were written using blood as a catalyst which is why it actually fooled Adrian for a few minutes. The blood used in writing these runes was something old and powerful. All of the runes were perfectly drawn as well and even had invisibility runes to hide them.
"Another grandmaster scribe must have done this as well. Vampires do live forever, and they usually develop obsessions to keep them from living and not getting bored." Adrian stated.
He immediately thought that there might be a Grandmaster Scribe that is a vampire. Runes are a field of research that could be used as an obsession to wane the boredom of eternal life. Vampires often do hobbies they could practically do forever to make them interested in the world. If they are not interested in the world then they would choose to sleep and only wake up every few centuries.
"Sister did not say anything about a Grandmaster Scribe in their family though. Maybe she just forgot as she always stresses about the old fogies as she called them. Should I destroy the formation? That would be bad though since sister would definitely berate me or make me pay for it. She might still bear a grudge about Kanlaon burning her money for a small vial of blood." Adrian thought.
"Master, I have returned." Sirius stated as a shadow could be seen to have merged with the one Adrian is casting.
"Perfect! Did you find the estate?" Adrian asked.
"It was difficult at first as even the shadow realm was tangled up in this location, but it suddenly got fixed when you did something. I have found the route that we need to take." Sirius replied as he came out of the shadows expecting a pat.
"Good job! Lead me to the estate then. Let me ride you as it has been a while." Adrian stated as he saw how excited Sirius was of his words.
As soon as Adrian sat on top of Sirius’ back, Sirius blitzed through the thick jungle as if it was a straight path. The large and thick forest was incredibly dense with foliage, but Sirius would never let any leaf or branch hit his master’s face. It only took around five minutes to arrive at the end of the forest where a large estate could be seen.
Adrian and Sirius did not arrive at the front entrance of the estate but the back area where a gate extends to the forest. As soon as they arrived at the small gate of the back entrance, Adrian immediately felt numerous eyes staring at them. All of the eyes were veiled with darkness, but Sirius could detect them without problem which is why he made a threatening growl since some of them released bloodlust.
"You should stand down for now, Sirius. We do not want to harm the guards of my sister’s estate after all. She would nag me infinitely if she found out that you destroyed all the limbs of the vampires guarding it." Adrian stated as the level of protection could only described as over the top.
Adrian was briefed by Solstice that the Edelblud Estate was attacked by one of the beings she was hunting down. This level of protection means that the enemies of her sister are no pushovers. It seems that her call for help was really warranted even though he knows that her sister never likes asking help from others. The fact that she asked for his help meant that she is also at her wits end.
"Greetings, are you a visitor of this estate? If not, then we urge you to head back as anyone that illegally enters will be met with fatal consequences." An old looking butler suddenly stated as he suddenly appeared, but Adrian knew that he came up from the shadows.
"I am here to meet with my sister. She is the heir of this estate and your blood master." Adrian stated which made the bloodlust intensify as terms such as blood master is a secret to vampire society.
Sirius suddenly released a powerful bloodlust as well and made the shadows in the area become erratic. One could even see that the entire gate is suddenly covered in dark shadows. Adrian remained calm as bloodlust was only directed, and they never attacked. He would only move if there were danger to him or Sirius.
"Can you directly state your affiliation, human?" The old butler asked.
"Human? Oh! I actually forgot that I was still in Polymorph." Adrian stated as he used a Polymorph Talisman on himself. The tier of the talisman was legendary which is why even slightly stronger vampires could not detect that he was not human.
