"Is she awake or dead yet?" Feng Yiren walked in lazily, but had to stop dead in his tracks because of the sight before him.

Was the little rat possessed. How come she was patting Mu Qingyi on the head and smiling at him so sweetly.

Lin Huahua stared at the newcomer. She sized him up with her brown eyes. Come to think of it the men in this world were really something else.

Unlike Mu Qingyi who had strong chest, broader shoulders and powerful thighs.

Feng Yiren had a slender but muscular body built and seemed to be easily over 6’0 tall.

He had red hair and bright red eyes too. The fox beastman also seemed to have a playful aura around him but when his eyes landed on Lin Huahua they immediately turned cold.

Because unlike Mu Qingyi who was in love with Lin Huahua even know she always maltreated him.

Feng Yiren and the rest of the beastmen who were supposed to be Lin Huahua future mates all hated her!

"You’re alive?" Feng Yiren stepped into the room and stood behind Mu Qingyi. The displeasure for Lin Huahua being awake wasn’t only visible in his eyes but also his tone.

"Yiren, be nice to Hua’er, she is in a good mood today" Mu Qingyi slowly turned to face Feng Yiren.

He clearly did not like the way, out of all the males, Feng Yiren was so stubborn towards Lin Huahua.

Even though he knew they only reason they all hated her was because of how she never considered them as mates.

Lin Huahua let out a nervous giggle. Looking at the men behind her she suddenly felt as if maybe it wasn’t so bad to stay in this world.

They were all so sexy. She really wanted to squeeze their abs. They reminded her of her book boyfriends.

Ooooh so sexy, if only I could just touch them a little.

Feng Yiren felt his ears turned red "W-why you staring?"

Lin Huahua blinked at him, then blinked again.

She was not going to lie, the man was gorgeous. His red hair looked like a flame. His eyes were sharp and bright. And his clothes were hanging loosely enough for her to see some muscles.

She suddenly grabbed the fur under her and squeezed it tightly.

"No reason," she said quickly. "You’re just very... um... fox-looking."

Feng Yiren and Mu Qingyi stared at Lin Huahua like she was crazy. They were starting to think maybe the rat princess had suddenly hit her head to be saying such strange things.

But when Lin Huahua felt their gaze on her she immediately cleared her throat and thought of her next step.

For now she was stuck in this world till her father decided to reach out to her, that is the only way she could beg him to bring her back to their world.

Sigh. I already miss mama, my brothers and ice cream.

"Hua’er are you hungry already?" A concerned look appeared on Mu Qingyi’s face the moment he saw Lin Huahua’s sad expression.

Feng Yiren rolled his eyes the moment he recognized that look on Lin Huahua’s face. She was back to being the vicious and spoiled rat princess that only cared about herself.

"Hungry" Lin Huahua licked her lips as she thought about food.

Hmm maybe while I wait I should eat to fill my stomach first.

"Yes—"

"We don’t have rice and the market won’t be opening until next cycle so deal with it" Feng Yiren suddenly said making Lin Huahua blink with surprise. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

She wondered if she was supposed to react some type of way because of the way Feng Yiren announced the news.

But then she remembered that the past owner of this body, usually forced her men to go to huge markets and trade everything they hunted for rice.

And In the end because of how much the past owner of the body hated the man her rat father kept picking for her. She ate all the rice alone. Leaving them to either starve or hunt small preys for themselves.

Now Lin Huahua immediately understood why Feng Yiren spoke to rudely.

Since he was the one who only dared to show the past Lin Huahua that he hated her, he said this because he had expected her to lash out and whip him as usual.

Even though he knew he would be punished he still did not hold back because of the satisfaction of seeing the vicious rat princess upset.

Humph since you can’t have rice for a few weeks I want to see you go crazy. Stupid female.

Mu Qingyi glared at Feng Yiren before he quickly turned to look at Lin Huahua. It was already a miracle that his female did not lash out at him for scolding her earlier.

Now he was scared that Lin Huahua wouldn’t take it likely that Feng Yiren was mocking her. Plus he also did not want her to use the little strength she had to start hitting Feng Yiren again.

"Hua’er..." Mu Qingyi reached out for Lin Huahua’s hands that were folded obediently on her lap, but he stopped himself half way before he could actually touch her.

Because he knew how much she hated being touched without her permission even though they were already mates. So he withdrew his hands quickly.

Lin Huahua watched him and felt her heart squeeze for a moment. How does she tell these men that she wasn’t as heartless as they thought she was.

"Hua’er, it is true that there won’t be any rice until the next cycle and for now we only have meat. I know how much you do not like meat, but you will have to manage for now until then. I can even go and pick some of those red fruits for you in the forest when you want"

Mu Qingyi spoke so softly as if he were speaking to a child. He was simply trying to calm Lin Huahua down so that she wouldn’t lash out at Feng Yiren.

And Feng Yiren was already feeling bad for Mu Qingyi since he was the closest to Lin Huahua. He would definitely get hit first.

But instead Lin Huahua smiled brightly and simply said "Ok"
