Noble Pampering: Demon CEO's Relentless Entanglement-Chapter 833 - 829: Who Are You Calling a Wild Man?
What is it about Irene Morton that isn’t good? Honestly, all she’s done for him is no less than Sophie Smith.
Luke Land was stunned, would Asher Land bring home the son Sophie Smith had with another man?
Impossible, that’s not like his usual behavior at all.
After a long time, Asher Land finally came downstairs.
"I say, third brother, are you crazy? The child Sophie had with some random guy, and you actually brought him home?" Luke Land exclaimed.
"Random guy?" Asher Land forced down the anger rising within, gritting his teeth, asking word by word, "Who are you calling a random guy? Hmm?"
Luke Land secretly thought this was not good, seeing his expression and tone, he must have misspoken.
"That girl Irene Morton said it, she said that child..."
"Hey, second brother!" Irene Morton stood up, walked up to the two men, looking aggrieved.
"I haven’t said anything, yet you want to blame it on me again?"
"You!" Seeing Irene’s innocent look, Luke Land felt a sense of being schemed against.
"I’ve heard enough of the random guy talk; I don’t want to hear it again."
Surprisingly, this time Asher Land didn’t lose his temper but calmly gave a piece of advice.
"So, what you mean is..." Luke Land thought, the reason Asher Land acts this way towards that child could only be for one reason, "That child... is your biological son?"
"Yes." Someone just nodded and casually replied with an "Yes."
"Oh dear!" Thinking about how he kept saying random guy in front of Asher just now, he now felt truly scared. Fortunately, Asher hasn’t erupted.
However...
"Since he’s your biological son, why does he call you uncle then?" Luke Land was puzzled.
"Just remember not to mention I’m his dad in front of Alexander, and don’t ask me too much about the rest."
When Asher Land spoke, it was entirely in a commanding tone.
Well, even if he doesn’t reveal it, Luke Land is determined to find out most of it from someone else, given his heavy curiosity.
He ordered the kitchen to make dinner, and around eight in the evening, Alexander woke up.
Led by the maid, Alexander walked downstairs, and as soon as he approached the dining room, he felt a solemn atmosphere.
He stood at the entrance and refused to go in, no matter how the maid persuaded him.
Seeing this, Asher Land pulled out a chair, walked a few steps to Alexander.
"What’s wrong?" he asked, looking down.
"I... I don’t want to sleep here... I want mommy."
Alexander couldn’t explain why, maybe because he was only a five-year-old child still home-loving, leaving Sophie Smith to be with a group of unfamiliar people, he wasn’t used to it at all.
Asher Land naturally sensed Alexander’s unease.
Even Alexander expected him to lose his temper, yet he didn’t.
He just bent down, easily lifting him up.
"Tonight, your mommy has something to do and can’t come to keep you company. Just sleep with me for one night, is that hard?" He raised his eyebrows, yet his tone was surprisingly gentle, Luke Land couldn’t help but marvel, could this be the power of fatherly love?
He carried Alexander to the table and sat him down on the chair.
"Uncle..."
Alexander wanted to say more, but was stopped by a look from Asher Land.
"Be good, finish your meal, sleep a while, and I’ll send you away from here tomorrow."
