Noble Pampering: Demon CEO's Relentless Entanglement-Chapter 832 - 828: The Child Born to Yanno and Another Man
"Uncle, you’re too domineering!" Alexander couldn’t help but protest.
"Just shut up."
"..."
Asher Land once again tossed Alexander back into the car, and seeing this, Robert Williams immediately started the car and drove toward the villa where Asher Land now lived.
Alexander pouted gloomily; who would want to go to this uncle’s house? Seriously.
His little head leaned against the car window, staying silent during the ride, seemingly in protest against Asher Land.
Asher Land didn’t pay him any attention either. When he brought Alexander back to his home, it was already near dusk.
Luke Land and Irene Morton were sitting on the sofa in the hall. When they saw Asher Land come in holding a little baby who had fallen asleep, they each had their thoughts.
"Hey, is this my little nephew?" Luke Land took a few steps forward, reaching out to hold the already asleep Alexander in Asher’s arms.
"Back off." Someone spat out two words lightly.
"I say, little brother, why are you being so stingy?" Luke Land pouted. "I’ve never seen my little nephew before, just want to hold him; is there a problem?"
Luke Land complained a bit discontentedly.
Luke Land carefully looked at the little guy sleeping in Asher’s arms. Alexander completely inherited his parents’ good looks, like a delicately carved doll, with a face full of chubby cuteness that made one really want to pinch him...
And Luke Land did just that.
He reached out and gently pinched Alexander’s little face.
"Luke Land!" Asher Land was just about to react, but the little guy in his arms suddenly woke up.
He stretched his little hands and rubbed his sleepy eyes, looked around, and realized he was in a completely unfamiliar environment.
"Uncle, are we at your house?" Alexander asked in his childish voice.
"Uncle?" Luke Land’s jaw almost dropped, "So this guy isn’t your son? But why does he look so much like you..."
Asher Land glared fiercely at Luke Land, who immediately dared not speak any further.
"Are you still sleepy?" Asher Land’s voice softened a bit, and such a side of Asher appeared a bit fatherly in Luke Land’s eyes.
"Mm." Alexander nodded.
After Alexander finished speaking, Asher Land carried him upstairs to his own room. He carried Alexander with one hand, pushing the door open with the other.
He looked at Alexander, who was too drowsy to keep his eyes open, and shook his head helplessly.
"Sleep for a while first, and then have dinner when you wake up."
He helped Alexander take off his clothes and then tucked him in, watching as the little guy curled up in the blanket, turned over, and soon fell deeply asleep.
Only then did he turn off the light and walk out.
Downstairs, Luke Land was firing off a series of questions at Irene Morton like a machine gun.
"The kid isn’t little brother’s? Could it be Sophie Smith had him with some random guy?"
"But how does this kid look so much like the two of them?"
"Hey, are you going to answer me or not?"
Luke Land saw Irene sitting indignantly on the sofa, not saying a word, and felt a bit puzzled.
"Yes, that child is from Sophie Smith and some random guy."
Irene’s words were out of anger. How could she not be mad? Now Asher Land has brought his son back to the place they lived together, clearly showing attitude to her, Irene.
Does he have any bit of respect for her?
He clearly knows how much she cares about him, but his heart is just not with her.
