No Substitutes for the Bigshots' Dream Girl Anymore!-Chapter 1912: Hayes Edwards Extra (69)
"Are you always so easygoing with everyone?"
Grace Winter let out an "ah," looked up at him, tilted her head, her round eyes full of confusion.
Hayes Edwards smiled, tugging at his lips. "It’s nothing."
Grace Winter curled her lips and gave a sweet smile.
"Silly girl." Hayes thought about what had happened earlier, angrily reached out and ruffled her hair again.
The next morning, Hayes had Chunky find the boys who had duty the night before and had a "friendly chat" with them, while also reporting them to the teacher.
The boys wrote tearful self-reflection essays and, in addition, took on the task of taking out the trash for the week, "Elementary schoolers, huh! Snitching! Even elementary schoolers don’t snitch anymore!"
Soon enough, the middle school students also learned that their grade’s "top dog" had a younger sister in the elementary school section.
"Seriously, a real sister?"
"Apparently, not a real sister, more like childhood friends, they’ve known each other since kindergarten."
"Haven’t they known each other for almost ten years then?"
While everyone was expressing their shock, some people specifically went to the elementary section to have a look.
Planning to see what this rumored "top dog’s" little childhood friend was like, and whether she was as hot-tempered as the "top dog" himself.
It wasn’t long before the first group who went to see returned with the latest news.
"Not fierce at all, really pretty, has a sweet smile, and speaks softly, her personality is a hundred times better than Hayes Edwards!"
"She’s also the class monitor and her grades are excellent!" 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
"Very polite, she even called me senpai when she saw me!"
The last boy was about to say more when an empty water bottle flew over, hitting him on the back of the head with a bang.
The boy snapped back to reality, holding his head angrily, "Who threw that, wanna..." meeting Hayes Edwards’ icy gaze, he quickly changed his tune, "Wanna... want some water? I’ll get it for you..."
After that day, no one dared to go to the elementary school section to see Grace Winter again.
During the second semester of sixth grade, teachers had already started to intensify the review pace, while also asking about the students’ plans for middle school.
As the class monitor and the top student, Grace Winter naturally was a focus for the teachers.
After a brief conversation, Grace Winter returned to the classroom, and Helena couldn’t wait to pull her over and ask, "Grace, where do you plan to go for middle school?"
Grace Winter said, "I’m staying here, at Dawn Light."
Most of the classmates lived nearby, so it was convenient to advance directly to the middle school section at Dawn Light.
Helena was the same.
Hearing Grace Winter say that, she was especially pleased, "This way, we can continue being middle school classmates. But I don’t know if we’ll be in the same class, your grades are so good, you’ll definitely go to the special class, but I..."
In June, the last final exam of their elementary school years officially began.
As they left in the morning, Hayes ran into Grace Winter who had left a bit early.
She was holding her breakfast and bounced over excitedly when she saw him, like a rabbit, "Hayes Edwards, I have exams today."
Hayes pressed the elevator button, "I know."
Grace Winter stood next to him, only reaching up to his neck, having to look up at him, "So, won’t you wish me luck?"
Hayes deliberately said, "No."
Grace Winter widened her eyes slightly, then lowered her head, a bit disappointed, "Alright then."
