Chapter 409: Chapter 420: Leaving the West King Hall

In Chu Linfeng’s mind, the information from the Sword Spirit was very clear. Hearing him call out, it said: "This martial skill is indeed formidable. With your current Chaotic Dragon Power, you can perform it at most twice."

"That domineering? Then its power must be significant. Sister Yue’Er, quickly explain the meaning of those runes to me," Chu Linfeng said eagerly with joy in his heart.

"This martial skill consists of seven moves. The one you have now is the first move called Tyrant Slash. Using this move with your current strength, you can kill experts at the Eighth Layer of the Divine Martial Realm, and even those at the Ninth Layer will be gravely injured," the Sword Spirit said.

Upon hearing this, Chu Linfeng felt even happier. This was exactly the martial skill he needed at the moment, and having this move would make traveling to the Canglan Ancient Land less dangerous.

Immediately, the Sword Spirit slowly began explaining to Chu Linfeng how to perform this Tyrant Slash. The information was vast, and many sentences were quite difficult to understand. It took Chu Linfeng a good while to comprehend it.

Chu Linfeng slowly started practicing the move in his mind. At first, he couldn’t grasp it at all; the Tyrant Slash in his mind only had form but lacked force, failing to bring out the true attack power of the move.

Although he was practicing, not being able to showcase the true meaning of the move made him a bit anxious.

"Lin Feng, slowly comprehend this move. Since it’s called Tyrant Slash, it must be a very imposing move, giving a feeling of reign over the world, causing everyone to feel fear inside once you perform it.

Dominate your opponent with momentum and then combine it with your mighty Chaotic Dragon Power, its power will naturally be unrivaled," the Sword Spirit said to Chu Linfeng, sounding somewhat anxious.

This feeling of reigning over the world is the momentum required by the martial skills within the Cyan Frost Sword. However, Chu Linfeng’s indecisive nature makes it hard for him to master.

After hearing this from the Sword Spirit, Chu Linfeng seemed to understand something. Slowly, he adjusted his mindset to exhibit the aura of a strong person, a spirit that remains unchanged when facing an army, unfazed by mountains collapsing or the earth splitting.

Repeatedly practicing in his mind, after about ten days, he managed to thoroughly understand the move, though he appeared quite exhausted at this point.

Chu Linfeng slowly opened his eyes, tightened his grip on the Cyan Frost Sword’s hilt, and stood up directly. Instantly, a presence of awe-inspired fear manifested on him, his disposition elevated once again.

Seeing the sky was still dark, with some time till daybreak, he decided to absorb some Star Power. He planned to leave West King Hall at daylight and head directly to the Canglan Ancient Land.

Early the next morning, Chu Linfeng arrived outside the room of the Celestial Ape, who seemed aware of Chu Linfeng’s arrival and had been waiting for him.

"Elder Yuan, I’m ready to go to the Canglan Ancient Land. Where is the Teleportation Gate of the West King Hall?" Chu Linfeng asked.

"Are you really decided to leave now? You should be aware of the perils of the Canglan Ancient Land. Why not wait until I finish my current commitments and accompany you?" the Celestial Ape said.

"I’ll go alone. After all, the presence of Demon Beasts in the Canglan Ancient Land could be troublesome. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of myself," Chu Linfeng said.

"Alright, I hope you succeed in taking over the Green Frost Sect and make it gradually strong," the Celestial Ape said, then took out two tokens—one red, one white.

The tokens were exquisitely engraved with images of a fox and a monkey, vividly realistic, evidently very precious.

"Lin Feng, this is the token the Fox King asked me to give you. If you encounter any issues in the Canglan Ancient Land that you cannot resolve and need the North King Hall’s assistance, just send someone with the token to the North King Hall and they’ll help you.

The red token is the West King Hall’s token, and it functions similarly. Use it wisely and only in scenarios that are truly beyond resolution, as the peaceful agreement between the Demon Beast Race and the Human Race must be maintained. If things escalate, it might turn into a war between the races," the Celestial Ape cautioned gravely.

Chu Linfeng accepted the tokens and directly placed them into his Storage Ring. "Elder Yuan, I understand the significance. I won’t use them unless it’s a matter of life and death. Take me to the Teleportation Gate now!"

"Wouldn’t you bid farewell to your brothers and women?" the Celestial Ape asked, looking at Chu Linfeng.

"No. Farewells only heighten mutual pain, needlessly distressing everyone. Once I’ve settled, I’ll return for them," Chu Linfeng said.

The Celestial Ape understood Chu Linfeng’s meaning and said: "Let’s go, I’ll take you to the Teleportation Gate of the West King Hall."

The Teleportation Gate of the West King Hall wasn’t far from the hall itself. The two flew for half an hour to reach it. The gate was situated under a cliff, guarded by numerous magical beasts from afar.

Seeing the Celestial Ape approach, all the guards saluted. The Celestial Ape then said: "This Teleportation Gate hasn’t been used in a long time. Be careful during transmission and watch out for spatial disturbances."

Chu Linfeng nodded and said: "I understand. Please take care of Meng Ji, Qian’er, and my big brother. Ensure they have enough Spirit Stones for their cultivation."

The Celestial Ape went to the Teleportation Gate, and with a wave of his hand, the gate instantly emitted a dazzling white light. "Lin Feng, go ahead. I’ll take good care of them, rest assured. When you return, their strength will surely have improved greatly."

Chu Linfeng said no more, proceeding alone into the Teleportation Gate. A giant pulling force immediately ensued, causing him to vanish shortly.

After Chu Linfeng departed, the Celestial Ape muttered to himself: "Oh master, may you recover your memory soon. With your emergence, this world might indeed become more exciting."

Chu Linfeng felt a tremendous pressure on him, making it difficult to breathe. The sensation of teleporting was indeed discomforting.

Not long after, this feeling dissipated. Subsequently, Chu Linfeng appeared in a place filled with floral fragrances and birdsong. Here, there was another Teleportation Gate from which he had emerged.

"Who are you? Why did you come out of the Teleportation Gate?" At that moment, a voice reached Chu Linfeng’s ears.

Turning towards the sound, he saw a girl, about seventeen or eighteen years old, beautiful, speaking to him.

The girl wore a pink dress, her hair elegantly styled atop her head. Her attire suggested that she might be a sect disciple.

Chu Linfeng was utterly disoriented in terms of direction, so he smiled and said: "Excuse me, sister, where in the Canglan Ancient Land am I? I inadvertently entered the Teleportation Gate and was transported here."

The girl glanced at Chu Linfeng and said: "You’re trying to deceive me. This Teleportation Gate directly connects to the Demon Beast Race. What kind of magical beast are you? Show your true form quickly, or must I strike you down to be satisfied?"

Upon hearing this, Chu Linfeng found it quite speechless to be mistaken for a magical beast by her. "I am not a magical beast; I truly got teleported here unintentionally."

"Since you refuse to tell the truth, then don’t blame me for being rude. Watch the sword!" the young lady said, manifesting a long sword in her hand, attacking Chu Linfeng instantly.
