Chapter 460

The Great Ancient Wizard, Contact with the Unknown (5)

―Quaaaaaa!

―I’m going to kill you, guoooh!

―Those Demon Tribe bastards! Kill them! Kill them!

“Hmm, those bastards’ IQ… it looks like it’s below average…”

Evan ran fast in the sky, realizing another truth about the dragons. It was quite a struggle because he had to keep them at a subtle distance as if they were going to catch him. However, it wasn’t possible to go straight to the Demons because the Demons would find out that Evan wasn’t one of them.

‘Let’s see, then…’

All right, he got it. When Evan felt the Dark Magic, which slowly bloomed as it approached the realm of the Demon Tribes, he found a small dungeon in the middle and rolled lightly in the sky. In the next moment, he forcibly opened the entrance to the dungeon and entered it.

“Okay, did the dragon’s notice?”

Well, since they got so angry, he wouldn’t be able to stop even if they noticed it. Sure enough, there was a massive concentration of energy outside the dungeon soon, and he felt an overwhelming wave expanding to the point where even the barrier that isolated the dungeon was shaken. They were using their dragon’s breath. No matter how strong Evan was, it would hurt quite a bit if he got hit by it. Because, unlike Raihan, he didn’t train as a tank.

‘So maybe the Demons would be in terrible pain…’

In the game, he couldn’t get the Dragons and Demon Tribes to fight even in his dreams. He couldn’t help it because it was fun to be able to make them fight each other, rather than just thinking that they’ve relieved their troubles.

―Hmm? I can feel the spirit of the Devil from somewhere.

―Is the Devil in this humble place?

―Hahahaha, what a funny joke!

“Oh, that’s right. You guys were there.”

This was one of the reasons why the Demon Tribes were even able to unite in the South. It was a hidden dungeon, which proved to be hard to find in the first round. You could barely find it after Mirole’s ability to detect spirits had increased by moving on to the second round. Some of the Demons were permanently stationed for contact with the Demon King. There was also a passageway through which the Demon Tribes were brought in bulk from the Demon Realm…a place that could, in many ways, be regarded as a control center for the Demons.

―Huh? It’s a human! He’s spewing out the energy of a demon, but he’s a human being!

―What? No way. It can’t be…!

“Well, I’m not a human being. I’m a dragon.”

Evan struck down the heads of the Demons, who could recognize and make them quiet. He was able to enter the hidden dungeon, not because of his high detection power but because he memorized the locations of the dungeons. There were random elements and fixed elements in the game, and this dungeon was a typically fixed element. In other words, the position of the dungeon was the same even if you played several games. So, he first found this place, and as expected, it was in the exact same location in real life.

‘Even if it’s different, I could still find it by crushing the ground with Annihilation.’

Evan diligently used Annihilation despite his boring thoughts, clearing up all the Demons living and breathing in this dungeon. He was the first to enter this dungeon to make a quarrel with the Demon Tribes in the north. If the control center collapsed, of course, the Devil would know about it, and the northern control center would learn about it soon after. So, what should Evan do at this time?

―A human being! A man of extraordinary power…no, but I can feel the power of the Devil and the power of the dragon at the same time!

―Ru-run! We’re all going to die!

“Let’s get to the bottom of the Devil’s energy…”

Evan suppressed the energy of his boots and concentrated his energy on the gloves he was wearing and the circlet he was wearing on his head. All right, perfect.

“Come on, you Devil footers!”

He strode forward, emitting divine energy that was the opposite of what he had just been emitting. The intangible pressure from him crushed and shattered everything in the area. If anything was within the range of the energy, it was turned to dust regardless of whether it was a Demon or just things in general.

It was needless to say that this was also set at a level of restraint for the Demons to understand the situation.

―Assistance! We need to call for assistance right now!

―Ohhhh! Devil, if you didn’t make that, who the hell created that disaster?

“Let’s see, and I think the communication line might be around here…I found it.”

―Hick!

The surviving Demons were seen shivering and asking for support from somewhere. It seemed that the passage with the Demon Realm was closed (probably now it was directly transmitting power to the north of the Demon Realm), so they were requesting assistance directly from the Demon Realm. It was perfect timing. Of course, it was the timing he was looking forward to.

“I can’t believe the Demons still live and breathe on this land!”

―Kahak!

Evan reached into the air to lift the Demon by its neck. The Demon dropped the communication machine on the floor with a loud noise, but it didn’t break. If it had been cut off, he would have to stop moving for a while and walk again, so he was glad it didn’t.

“Now that an agreement between God and the Dragons has been reached, we will trample all of you down and rise to the new and great throne!”

―Dr-Dragon…!

Now, Evan was wearing a dragon’s cloak, dressed in dragon’s leather, and a circlet with a dragon’s energy-breathing jewel (Dragon Heart) on his forehead. He was wearing the rune, which God had given him, and the gloves!

―Dragons and God, hand in hand…!

The Demon was controlled by fear and parroted his words. Here, the same logic was applied as Evan deceived the dragons earlier. It was almost impossible for the Demon Tribe to fail to recognize that he was human. Still, Evan overwhelmingly pushed the Demons, dealing with both the power of the Dragon and the power of God, which wasn’t allowed for humans. At this time of day, the Demon outpost was being raided by the dragons so it wasn’t too strange for the Demon Tribe to regard Evan as a dragon.

“Hmph!”

He had already said what Evan wanted to hear, so there was nothing more to do. Evan strengthened his hand to free the spirits of the Demon and then crushed everything within.

“Oh, that’s right. I forgot about this.”

Special rewards were hidden in this dungeon. While destroying the facility…he recovered the third piece of God’s fragment. Perhaps the pieces of this meritorious fragment looked like they helped a Dragon’s power make it to this place.

‘All right, there’s no more.’

This had made them lose all means of spying on the situation from their side. After hearing about what’s going on, the demons would no longer remain still. Of course, the Devil may not have been deceived, but the important thing was that he couldn’t control the dragons of the world!

‘But that’s not enough to make the Divines and the Dragons join hands. I won’t be able to convince the Dragon to that point.’

And so, he prepared something else.

“Oops…a little to the left, yes.”

Evan first left the dungeon and settled just a little bit from the southern Great Plains, where the battle between the Demon Tribes and the Dragons took place. Just in time, there was a high rocky mountain in the right place, and when he settled on the top of it, he could see the battle taking place on the Great Plains.

―Get rid of all the Demons!

―Ahhhhhhhhhh!

―How dare the Devil to curse our great race!

Perhaps because Evan had disappeared from their sights, ultimately, they started fighting the Demons. They didn’t know where he was, but they assumed if they killed all the demons, he would be among them. It was a terrible idea that only the Dragons could bear! Except for the resistance of about a dozen or two people who appeared in Yo-Ma Great War Zero, there was a scene close to genocide, not fighting.

―Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh! Dragon! What are Dragons doing here?!

―Oh, Devil! Devillllllllllll!

The Demon Tribes were suffering from the terrible destructive power of the dragons to the point of the collapse of their language system. Evan, looking at the world with such a pleasant scene, was unconsciously distracted, but he soon regained his senses and picked up his communication device. The person he contacted was Fayna.

“Fayna, it’s time.”

[Hooo, I can’t help it…]

The disciple of Mother Earth, who spread her golden wings into the sky behind Evan, flew bravely. She had been lurking around the area for some time now. Of course, with Evan’s instructions.

[Feel the powers of Mother Earth, you wicked Demons!]

It was the scene of real-time fighting. Although she looked like she didn’t want to do this, fortunately, the enemies didn’t notice it!

―The disciple of God?

[The Mother Earth will not accept the Demons that take root in man’s land!]

Had it been her old self, she wouldn’t have been able to jump into the scene where dozens of dragons and tens of thousands of Demons had been mixed up, but now there was a strong support force behind her! She hid her tremors and spread her golden wings magnificently. Not only to the Demon Tribes but also to the dragons; it looked genuinely dazzling.

―The disciple of Mother Earth?

―More like bugs…?

[Let’s hold hands temporarily now, Dragons!]

―No, because you’re attacking the Demons.

―Well, then we don’t have to do anything about it. But if you touch our game, you’ll die!

[Who do you think is going to die…Khmmm! Together we can drive the Demon Tribes out of this land!]

If it hadn’t been for this situation, she would have been in a life-and-death situation with many dragons if she were ignored or unlucky to ask for an alliance with the dragons. But now, the dragons had no reason to be hard on Fayna, who wanted to help them do their job because they were trying to clean up all the Demons and kill Evan.

―Have the gods finally realized my greatness?

―Hm, I don’t want to talk to you guys until you give me your place!

All right, the dragons’ lines were excellent! Evan clapped his hands internally. Dragons who don’t want to reveal their feelings easily often acted as if they predicted the situation in advance. So, even with the appearance of the disciple, which couldn’t be hypothesized, they acted like they naturally knew that “the disciple of Mother Earth came to help us.”

What happened as a result…

―The Dragons and gods have joined hands!

―The Great Devil, what you were worried about has happened!

―Oh, we’re done here. Please save us, Devil…!

―The servants of the wicked light will bring you down from the throne, Devil!

Yes, the Demons were misunderstanding the situation! Initially, the Divines and Demon Tribes were reluctant to face each other directly until the end. Until then, they had expressed their ambition to occupy Middle Earth through grumbling, but if they fought so fiercely from the beginning, they wouldn’t be able to do such a dirty deed. Yes, Evan wasn’t just trying to co-destruct the Demon Tribes and the dragons, but he was also planning to use them indirectly to advance the battle between the Divine and the Demon Realms!

“No, this…this was so easy. These are all fools.”

[I don’t know if there will be any protest from the other gods!]

“What do you mean by a protest? Fayna was looking for a passage for the gods to come down, and she happened to see the battle between the Dragons and the Demons and intervened.”

[Wow. I may have made the wrong choice, Mother Earth…]

Fayna regretted her choice belatedly, but Evan didn’t seem to care at all. Ahhh, there were dozens of dragons flying from the northern sky.

Dragons of the Spirit Realm.
