Naruto: Wooing Tsunade from Day One!-Chapter 411: Online Beatdown of the Two-Tails 3
Chapter 411 - 411: Online Beatdown of the Two-Tails 3
"You want to die."
Two-Tails had never been treated like this before, and under Nagato's verbal provocation, she erupted in fury.
With a slight push from her hind legs, her massive body lunged forward. Her giant blue claws gleamed coldly as they slashed toward Nagato, the murderous glint in her eyes even deadlier. If this attack landed, she was certain the human before her would have no chance of survival.
The distance between them vanished in an instant.
"Tsk, just a bit too slow," Yahiko remarked from outside the barrier, his tone dismissive.
Two-Tails had power, but at that speed? Hitting Nagato was wishful thinking. If she could transform into Nonō, then maybe there would be a chance.
As expected, Nagato didn't even consider dodging. If he was going to fight, he would end it in one decisive strike.
Without a single movement, the fabric of his upper body tore apart, revealing a lean, toned physique beneath.
"Wow, this is way better than a body full of ribs," Kawakaze remarked smugly, unable to hide his satisfaction.
"What ribs?" Tsunade asked, not understanding the comment.
Kawakaze brushed it off casually, certain that such a fate would never befall Nagato again.
Boom!
A deep, muffled sound echoed through the battlefield.
A mechanical arm extended from behind Nagato's shoulder, snapping shut in an instant and seizing Two-Tails' entire body. The sheer force of the impact drove Nagato three inches into the ground. Yet, no matter how much Two-Tails struggled, she couldn't push forward any further.
"H-How is this possible?"
Two-Tails stared at Nagato in disbelief. She couldn't fathom how a mere human could match her strength through sheer physical power alone.
"That's not enough," Nagato said, tilting his head up slightly, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
As his bangs parted, the Rinnegan in both his eyes shone vividly before Two-Tails.
"These eyes..."
Fear buried deep within Two-Tails' heart suddenly surfaced, and in an instant, the only thought in her mind was run.
These were the eyes of the Rikudō Sennin—how could she forget?
"Oh? You recognize these eyes?"
Although Kawakaze had never told Nagato the truth, he had always been suspicious. His deep study of Medical Ninjutsu had long since confirmed that these eyes were not his by birth.
"No... this is impossible..."
Two-Tails' eyes were filled with terror, but the more she struggled, the tighter Nagato's grip became.
"Forget it, it doesn't matter," Nagato muttered, shaking his head self-deprecatingly.
There was no point in dwelling on the origins of these eyes. As long as they were his now, they were a part of him.
As soon as he finished speaking, he raised his hands, and two long black rods shot forward at high speed.
With one of her forelimbs restrained, Two-Tails had no way to evade.
Puff! Puff!
The sound of the rods piercing flesh was chillingly clear. One of Two-Tails' hind legs was impaled straight through.
Ow!
The pain jolted her back to awareness, and instinctively, she swung her free forelimb at Nagato once more.
This time, dazzling blue flames engulfed her entire limb, burning fiercely with the intent to reduce the human before her to ashes.
Descendant of Rikudō Sennin or not—I don't care!
"Why don't you behave?"
Nagato remained unfazed by her ferocious attack.
He raised his hand, launching another black rod. At the same moment, the mechanical arm behind his shoulder released Two-Tails, and he swiftly retreated, his movements fluid and precise.
Restraining her in this manner wasn't the most efficient approach.
"What did you do to me?!"
Not only had her attack missed, but she had suffered another injury. Her enraged roar echoed through the barrier.
Though she had broken free, she could feel her chakra in complete disarray.
If the interference had been any stronger, she realized with dread, she might have become a puppet, completely at her enemy's mercy.
And the cause of it all—those long, black rods embedded in her body.
Realizing this, she opened her mouth and attempted to pull them out.
"Quite clever," Kawakaze remarked with a slight smile, though his tone carried a hint of mockery.
"You think you're the only one with brains?"
Tsunade shot him a look of pure disdain.
Was Kawakaze really comparing his intelligence to a Tailed Beast? No, how could he even think of lowering himself like that?
Kawakaze wanted to retort, but remembering that Tsunade was still in a bad mood, he chose to grin and bear it.
Yahiko and the others, watching from outside the barrier, struggled to contain their laughter, their faces twisting in amusement. freewёbnoνel.com
If not for their strong self-control, they might have lost focus on maintaining the barrier.
Only Nagato remained unaffected, his attention solely fixed on Two-Tails.
"Don't even think about it."
Nagato had already anticipated her move—there was no way he would let her remove the rods.
Although the physical damage they caused was minor, their effect was far more significant.
"Earth Release: Earth Prison Entrapment."
He swiftly formed hand seals and slammed his palm onto the ground.
As his chakra surged into the earth, the ground beneath Two-Tails trembled violently. In an instant, massive spikes of stone erupted, stabbing into her from all directions.
Still attempting to remove the rods, Two-Tails was caught off guard, impaled from multiple angles, her form left battered and torn.
"This move is pretty ruthless. Did you teach him that?"
Tsunade's eyes held a tinge of admiration. She didn't want to be just a reckless powerhouse—she craved more refined techniques.
Unfortunately, some things were predestined.
"Have you ever seen me use Earth Release?"
"He probably developed it himself. This technique is definitely S-rank."
Kawakaze didn't even look her way—he knew she was deliberately provoking him.
But he didn't mind. Whether he had taught it to Nagato or not didn't matter. Nagato was his disciple, after all.
"It really is impressive," Tsunade admitted. "But not everyone could pull it off at this level."
She wasn't doubting Nagato—she was acknowledging his ability.
For a technique to work so effectively against a Tailed Beast, there was no question it was S-rank.
But the power of the same jutsu could vary drastically depending on the user.
"You're right," Kawakaze nodded. He immediately thought of Madara Uchiha, who could turn even a B-rank jutsu into something absurdly powerful.
"It's not going to end like this, is it?"
Tsunade sounded a little disappointed as she eyed the impaled Two-Tails.
The fight had been too short—she had expected more from a Tailed Beast.
"You're overthinking it. No matter how weak she seems, she's still a Tailed Beast," Kawakaze scoffed.
Sometimes, this woman's thought process was baffling.
She had encountered Tailed Beasts before—how could she ask such a childish question?
If he weren't afraid of getting smacked, he would have mocked her outright.
If Tailed Beasts were easy to subdue, they wouldn't be considered the ultimate weapons.
While the two of them bickered, Two-Tails suddenly erupted in fury.
ROAR!
Before Nagato could make another move, a massive surge of chakra exploded from her body.
The blue flames surrounding her burned even brighter, their intense heat spreading throughout the barrier.
The earthen spikes impaling her disintegrated under the sheer force of the flames, and her wounds rapidly began to heal.
Aside from the few black rods still embedded in her body, which she had yet to deal with, she had nearly restored herself to full strength.
