Naruto: I Have a Gravity Training Room-Chapter 479 - 477
"Naruto!!"
Sasuke and Neji both jolted, rushing toward Naruto at once.
But Isshiki was faster. A black rod was already in his hand, aimed straight at Naruto's head, ready to finish him.
Then, in the next instant, Sasuke used Amenotejikara (Heavenly Hand Power) to swap places with Naruto. He knocked the rod aside with one slash, then drove a kick into Isshiki's stomach.
Isshiki went flying.
Neji wasn't about to waste that opening. He spun his Truth-Seeking Orbs with both hands and unleashed Ginrin Tenseigan Baku (Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion). A violent tornado surged forward, swallowing Isshiki in its path.
Isshiki had only just steadied himself when he immediately absorbed the tornado with the Kāma marks in both palms.
But while he was absorbing it, a Truth-Seeking Orb Rasenshuriken shot in from behind.
No one even knew when Naruto had gotten behind him.
Isshiki's expression darkened. He hurriedly used a space-time portal.
A black-and-red void opened like a hole in space. Isshiki vanished and reappeared elsewhere, narrowly avoiding the Truth-Seeking Orb Rasenshuriken.
Naruto, Sasuke, and Neji still held their formation around Isshiki, refusing to let him escape.
Naruto yanked the black rods out of his body and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. "It was only a guess, but it's confirmed. When you absorb ninjutsu, you can't dodge. That's your weakness."
Sasuke nodded. He'd been suspecting it too.
That was why, while Isshiki was absorbing the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion, Sasuke had used a space-time portal to place Naruto behind Isshiki, forcing a sneak attack.
They didn't think it would beat Isshiki outright. But it did confirm the weakness.
And once you knew the weakness, it wasn't hard to exploit. You just had to force Isshiki into a situation where he had to absorb ninjutsu, then create an opening during that window.
Natsuki, Orochimaru, and Hashirama were watching with obvious interest.
Orochimaru licked his lips, washing his face with his long tongue. "Hehehe. Sukunahikona… what an interesting technique. I wonder if it's Isshiki's dōjutsu. I really want to study it. And those markings… they can absorb all ninjutsu. That's not ordinary at all."
"This guy's taijutsu is strong," Hashirama commented. "At the very least, compared to Kaguya, his taijutsu is far stronger."
If anything, that still understated things. Isshiki wasn't just strong in taijutsu. The way he fused taijutsu with his secret arts was almost flawless. His strength was so sharp and clean it was hard to imagine how Kaguya had ever managed to land that sneak attack back then.
In any case, Neji, Sasuke, and Naruto fighting together still didn't seem to have much of a winning chance.
Natsuki, however, kept his eyes on Sasuke. He had the feeling Sasuke was still far from going all out.
Sasuke had already evolved both eyes to something on the level of a Rinne-Tenseigan. His strength should be beyond this. Was he deliberately hiding his hand, waiting for the perfect moment to explode with a decisive strike?
Natsuki didn't bother guessing too deeply.
He was focused on locating the Ten-Tails. But after sweeping this dimension thoroughly, he still hadn't found anything.
It looked like Isshiki had hidden the Ten-Tails in another dimension entirely. No one knew where. Unless Isshiki summoned it into battle, or they defeated Isshiki and dug through his memories, they weren't going to find it.
Natsuki wasn't in a rush. He took a moment to check on the other fights.
Kakashi and Shino versus the guy named Deepa was outright bullying.
Deepa seemed able to carbonize his body, boosting hardness and striking power. He wasn't weak at all. At the very least, Shino's insects couldn't break through easily.
But Kakashi was a nightmare matchup.
Kakashi simply threw a Kamui shuriken. The moment it struck Deepa, space warped into a crushing twist, a spatial shredder that easily tore Deepa's carbonized arms clean off.
Never underestimate space itself.
It didn't matter if Deepa's carbonization was "hard." Even if he'd carbonized into diamond-level hardness, it would still be worthless in front of warped-space dismemberment.
Deepa's mental state instantly collapsed.
He'd been so arrogant. He must've believed his carbonization was unbreakable, that no one could possibly pierce his defense. But in front of Kakashi's Kamui shuriken, it meant nothing. How could he accept that?
He didn't have a choice. Before long, Kakashi and Shino subdued him.
At the same time, the A-B brothers quickly restrained Amado. Amado was a scientist, good at inventing advanced weapons, but his personal combat ability wasn't impressive.
On the other hand, the teenage girl Delta was no joke. Even the A-B brothers had a tough fight against her.
Jiraiya fought alone against Kashin Koji. But after trading blows, Jiraiya realized Koji's techniques looked an awful lot like his own. Koji could even summon the toads of Mount Myōboku.
And Koji's build felt strangely familiar, giving Jiraiya a very bad feeling.
Sure enough, after a burst of heavy attacks from Jiraiya, Koji's mask finally shattered.
Beneath it was an extremely young face, though the skin looked almost gaunt and dried out.
Jiraiya shouted, "That's impossible! I don't have any brothers that young!"
Ōnoki, who had already subdued Victor easily, laughed. "Maybe he's your son, Jiraiya."
Jiraiya shook his head instantly. "Impossible. Absolutely impossible. I go to brothels all the time, but I never get anyone pregnant. So there's no way I have a son!"
Everyone laughed. Who would believe a pervert like Jiraiya?
He was also a drunk. Who knew what he'd done by accident while wasted?
At that point, Amado spoke up on his own. "I collected Jiraiya's flesh and blood and manufactured a clone. That's Kashin Koji. And Delta is also a clone. She's a clone of my late daughter. I only joined Kara to bring my daughter back. You won't stop me!"
Hearing that, everyone silently pitied Amado for exactly one second.
In a world like this, people died every day. Amado's daughter wasn't some unique tragedy. If you pitied everyone, you'd drown in sorrow for life.
Yes, Amado's love as a father was real.
But supporting Isshiki was still wrong.
The Ōtsutsuki were the greatest threat to the shinobi world. They had to be eradicated. Amado chose to aid evil, so the alliance wasn't going to hold back.
Still, his cloning tech really was impressive. It might be something they could take and use.
After all, the only way to survive the future catastrophe of an Ōtsutsuki invasion was to seize every advantage, take every tool, and make themselves stronger.
No need to feel guilty about it.
The enemy's power belonged to them now. Taking it was the correct play.
