Naruto: I exposed famous scenes!-Chapter 58: Resurrection of Kushina!

Timeline: More than 2 years have passed since Naruto left with Jiraya.

The Land of Rice, Orochimaru's Secret Base,

Sasuke sparred against over thirty rogue ninja. His fluid swordsmanship and exceptional taijutsu allowed him to dispatch his opponents with ease. However, Sasuke chose not to kill them, merely knocking them unconscious.

Kabuto, observing nearby, was puzzled.

"Lord Orochimaru, why does Sasuke refrain from killing them? Surely, ending their lives would be simpler than incapacitating them," Kabuto inquired.

Orochimaru offered a knowing smirk. "He understands his objective, Kabuto. Sasuke-kun won't engage in unnecessary actions."

Kabuto's eyes widened slightly in understanding. Though Sasuke had sought power by aligning himself with Orochimaru, he still possessed a fundamental sense of morality. People like that understood their boundaries—what they should and shouldn't do. It made them formidable, perhaps even dangerous.

A short while later, Sasuke had dealt with all thirty ninja and approached calmly. He seemed transformed. Gone was the familiar blue, high-collared shirt of his youth, replaced by a stark white kimono, open at the chest. The legendary Sword of Kusanagi rested at his hip. He appeared older, colder.

"Orochimaru, I have questions for you," Sasuke stated, his voice level and cold, carrying an undertone of command.

"Very well," Orochimaru agreed readily, showing no sign of offense.

This visibly irked Kabuto, standing nearby. To see his revered Lord Orochimaru treated so casually by Sasuke, almost like an attendant, was deeply unsettling.

Later, in a private room, Sasuke settled onto a sofa, finally voicing the question that had been weighing on his mind.

"Orochimaru... I need to know. What is sealed inside Naruto?" he demanded. "As one of Konoha's Sannin, surely you know? Tell me."

Orochimaru paused, feigning mild surprise. "Naruto Uzumaki? Are you concerned about him, Sasuke-kun?"

Sasuke replied, a touch defensively, "No. I am merely curious about the power dwelling within him—the power that rivaled my Cursed Seal."

He recalled their battle at the Valley of the End.

The terrifying, monstrous power Naruto had unleashed in his desperation to bring Sasuke back. Had Sasuke not activated the second state of his Cursed Seal, Naruto might very well have succeeded. Lately, as Sasuke pushed his own limits in training, memories of Naruto being scorned and called a monster by the villagers frequently resurfaced, further fueling his curiosity about the secret Naruto harbored.

Orochimaru smiled enigmatically. "The truth about Naruto is a closely guarded secret in Konoha, forbidden by the Third Hokage himself. Even I don't possess the full story." He leaned in slightly. (A/N:He lied )

"However... there is someone who certainly does know."

Sasuke's gaze sharpened. "Who?"

"Come" Orochimaru said, rising and heading for the door.

Inside the laboratory, Orochimaru opened a cabinet filled with various blood samples. His serpentine eyes scanned the vials before selecting one hidden deep within a corner. Peering at the faded label, Sasuke could just make out the characters: 'Uzumaki Kushina'.

'Uzumaki Kushina? Uzumaki Naruto?' The shared surname sparked a flurry of questions in Sasuke's mind.

At that moment, Orochimaru called out, "Kabuto! Bring me a vessel!"

"Yes, Lord Orochimaru!"

A moment later, Kabuto entered, escorting a frail individual and forcing them to kneel on the cold floor.

Orochimaru coated his hands with the blood from Kushina's vial, then swiftly formed a series of intricate hand seals. Slamming his palm onto the ground, he intoned, "Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei!" (Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation!)

Instantly, dust and debris swirled violently, coalescing around the kneeling figure. Amidst the vessel's pained cries, the form shifted, solidifying into a woman with striking, waist-length red hair, clad in simple green attire.

A few moments passed. The woman's eyes fluttered open. She stared down at her hands in disbelief, whispering, "Am I... not dead?"

"It has been a long time, Kushina," Orochimaru said, his voice raspy.

Kushina looked up, recognizing him. "Orochimaru-senpai? Did you... save me?" she asked, a hint of hope in her voice.

"Resurrection would be a more accurate term than salvation," Orochimaru corrected smoothly.

"Resurrection?" Kushina echoed, realization dawning, followed by a wave of sorrow. "That's right... I died..."

Sasuke, who had been observing their reunion impatiently, cut in sharply, "Orochimaru! You still haven't answered my question. What is the monster sealed inside Naruto?"

Hearing Naruto's name, Kushina's attention snapped instantly to Sasuke. Her eyes lit up with an intense, maternal energy.

"Naruto? You know Naruto?" she asked excitedly, firing off questions. "How is he? Is he doing well? How old is he now? Has he grown tall? Does he... does he have a girlfriend?"

Taken aback by the sudden, passionate barrage, Sasuke frowned deeply. "Who are you? And answer my question – what is inside Naruto!"

"Show some respect, Sasuke-kun"

Orochimaru interjected silkily from behind. "After all, she held you when you were just a baby."

(A/N: Anbus always followed her and watched her talking with Mikoto and so does Danzo' Root . And by extension, as Danzo former subordinate and collaborator, Orochimaru also knows about this. Though canon doesn't show her holding Sasuke.)

Kushina gasped softly, her eyes widening as she truly looked at the young man before her. "Your name is Sasuke? Uchiha Sasuke?"

Sasuke's hand instinctively went to the hilt of his Kusanagi, his expression darkening dangerously. "How do you know my name?"

Kushina offered a gentle, reminiscent smile. "So, you really are Sasuke-chan. No wonder... you resemble Mikoto so much."

The familiarity, the mention of his mother – it struck a nerve. Sasuke drew his sword in a flash, leveling the gleaming blade towards the resurrected woman.

"Who are you?! And what's your relation with Naruto!!" he demanded icily.
