Narika: The Ghost Bride-Chapter 175 - One Hundred And Seventy-Five:I Killed Him Adrik, And I Loved It.
Narika sat still on a big stone while she waited for Adrik, she was nervous as she didn’t know how exactly she was supposed to sit and act like everything is alright, when there’s a huge possibility that Adrik is not okay.
He’s out fighting for both of them, but here she is doing nothing. Narika has never felt useless in her life until now. She stood up, while holding tightly onto the gun he gave to her for protection, and tried to leave.
But then his strong warning made her stop in her tracks, before she let out a frustrated grunt and sat back down on the stone. Her hands were shaking vigorously and she kept the gun aside for a while to say a brief prayer for Adrik to be fine.
She reckoned as there hasn’t been any gunshot sound yet, that there’s a hope that things were being sorted out amicably. But then there was his jerk of a brother, who she knew was no different from Lucifer.
"Please be fine." She mumbled to herself, while trying hard to keep to the end of her deal about staying down, until he came in search of her.
Narika was still in thoughts, but that didn’t make her not notice that stream of light that came down from the heavens, until she saw Micheal, Camael and another man who wasn’t familiar descending down to where her mind told her that they were going.
"This is not good,Micheal is going to hurt Adrik." She said to herself, her eyes got teary and she stood up with the gun in her hands in an approach to go back to the village.
Adrik wouldn’t be able to save himself, the villagers and as well try to save himself from the attack of the angels who were here for him. She didn’t know what Micheal’s deal was with him, but ever since Adrik’s name was attached to Lucifer, as he was his son. That made him an enemy to literally anyone that knows about him.
His father has made an incredible amount of problems, and tossed it at him. His favoritism towards the others may be heartbreaking, but she’s glad that Adrik chose his path rather than to stay with a psychopath like him.
So, she tried to leave but then the cracking sound of a leaf in the woods, made her stay on alert to know that she wasn’t alone. She has visitors, who isn’t Adrik. He wouldn’t have escaped from all that tussle in the village so soon.
Narika held the gun tightly, she was scared of whoever it is that was trying to hunt her down. But she’s not going to back down without a fight.
It’s too disheartening that her powers was playing with her, or maybe this was Baram’s way of messing with her since she didn’t give her the chance to do what she liked with her body.
Unlike Adrik who had his increased strength and everything he would need, to fight his enemies. All she has was her gun and the will to save herself because she’s not going to hell. Hell no! Not without a fight.
"Be careful, she might be close." She heard a voice, which she assumed was their leader coming from the left, and she made use of the big tree to shade herself from them.
"Does she have her powers, sir?" A demon asked, he was scared of what Narika would do to him since it’s not a secret in hell what she is.
"It doesn’t matter if she has them or not, the plan is to get her alive. Lucifer would hurt all of us if this goes wrong." Amos told them, while keeping his eyes out insearch of her.
Narika could feel them getting closer, and it was not going to take much before they would come crossing over the boundaries between the tree she was hiding, and find her.
So, she turned to her left and sht the first demon in sight directly to the head, as he fell to the ground.
"Becareful, she has a gun." Amos yelled, as Narika fired twice while running down the woods, while Amos and the other two went after her.
"Don’t hurt her, form a circle to trap her in!" Amos shouted to his men, as they ran in opposite directions while she fired again at the demon at her right, but he did well to duck against her attack.
"It’s over, Narika. Surrender yourself and this doesn’t escalate further than this!" Amos shouted, as he saw her frustrated she was when she tried to kill one of her men but she had run out of bullets.
He wasted no time to appear in front of her, as she headbutted him in his chest and fell to her butt.
She gasped in shock, before moving backwards only to feel the other ones at her back.
"There you are, Lucifer would be so pleased." Amos laughed hysterically, before she was yanked up by her arm, but she started fighting against his hold.
She can’t go to hell!
She can’t!
There’s no way Adrik would be able to help her, once she’s there. So the adrenaline that rushed through her made kick at the idiot at her front, elbowed Amos at his face before ducking the other one who came to grab her.
But her little supergirl actions were short-lived, when she was dragged by her hair back by Amos.
"You little minx. You should be glad that Lucifer wants you unarmed, I would have hurt you for killing..." Amos’ words were interrupted by her spitting right at his face, and that’s it.
He slapped her hard, and that made her see stars as she fell to the ground. A vivid image of her parents crying for her safety ran through her mind, she escaped home so as to not endanger their lives?
What use would it be that she gets captured by Lucifer again?
Who knows if she wound up be able to block Baram a second time once he gets her, no nobody knows!
She didn’t know!
Narika channeled all that frustration to good use, before she knew it. She felt it, she felt her powers coming alive in every single cell in her power.
"You bitch.’’Amos cursed, cleaning his face with a handkerchief before he stepped forward to grab her, but her hand dug into the chest of one of his men, and yanked his heart out.
He stopped in his tracks, as the scene in front of him felt all too familiar. Adrik had nearly killed him just the same way right at Oregon’s palace.
So, he turned to escape for his life but he was not lucky like last time, because Narika appeared right in front of him with yellow angry eyes.
"Please, don’t kill me." He begged, he tried to play the victim card here since he was just following Lucifer’s orders anyway. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
But without Narika noticing, he tried to attack her using his powers but rather was yanked up, without her holding him. All she did was glare at him, before she laughed.
"You want to live?" She asked, more like treased him as he waited no time to nod his head at the question.
"But what are we going to do? I don’t want to do that." Narika smirked.
"Pleas.."Amos tried speaking, but that was cut off when he felt his body getting filled up with air. It was just as if he was being pumped." Stop" He said.
"Stop it! Please." He begged, but Narika was long gone as a big smile graced her face watching him plead for his life.
He was totally under her mercy, and it felt good. She hasn’t felt like this all these while and she didn’t know if that’s something to be glad about.
But she wasn’t planning to stop..no, she couldn’t stop. So, she continued to relish in the pitiful cries of the demon until he popped, just like a balloon. His blood splashed over her while his other remains fell to the ground.
Narika gasped and staggered to the ground, she looked at her bloody hands but instead of feeling bad about what she did.
She smiled.
Ske loved the feeling.
She laughed, cleaning her face with her still bloodied hands before standing up when she heard her name being called.
"Narika." Adrik called, and she wasted no time to appear towards his location and rushed into his warm hug.
"Are you okay?" Adrik asked, pulling her away to check for any signs of injuries but none. All that he could see was her bloodied self but none of the blood belonged to her, until he realized that she couldn’t bleed.
A relieved sigh left his lips, until her next words that made him yank his eyes open to check her out more time.
"I killed him, Adrik and i loved it!"
