Mythology Rebooted-Chapter 456 - 205: Devil Alliance, Familiars Descend_3
Chapter 456: Chapter 205: Devil Alliance, Familiars Descend_3
The camera cut back to the Underworld Great Tomb, where the black portal on the dome contracted as if it were greatly injured, having its last bit of strength drained.
Below Skeleton Mountain, three figures slowly opened their eyes, taking in a breath of the human world’s polluted air and all showing expressions of excitement.
This is the human world, where even a fart is filled with the fragrance of freedom, far incomparable to the sulfurous stench of Hell.
In short, the human world is simply better, oh so fragrant.
The three familiars, two males and a female, well, that’s what they appeared to be on the outside, familiars could be considered devils, and once you’re a devil, gender shouldn’t be too fixed.
The dark figure on the left had a burly physique resembling a small mountain, with clearly defined muscles visible beneath his scales, and even in a still state, one could feel the powerful energy flowing inside him.
This figure had a gaping maw and a body covered in fine scales, swinging a thick long tail behind him, displaying certain Giant Dragon-like physical traits.
He bent down to look at his master, shrinking his large frame to transform into a bald, burly man about two meters tall.
He draped a Black Robe over himself, his face flushed with thick flesh, crimson eyes glaring, only missing a tattoo of a devil on his face.
The dark figure in the middle resembled a raven, pitch-black, reflecting a dark metallic sheen, with sharp teeth protruding from its black beak, and a long, snake-like neck. After bowing to its master, it took on a human form.
Suit, gentleman’s hat, leather shoes, gloves, and a Walking Stick, along with a pair of gold-rimmed glasses; he had handsome features, a modest smile, the epitome of a noble elite.
The final shadow was a fusion of a woman’s upper body and a spider, with long black hair cascading down, covering her pale and voluptuous chest, combined with the spider’s bloated abdomen and slender legs, giving off an evil, fallen dark beauty.
She bowed to her master and transformed into a fair-skinned beauty with black hair. Her black backless evening gown, made of high-end, silky material, clung to her body, leaving little to the imagination.
She waved her hand, fashioning a large, black wide-brimmed sun hat with her thoughts, coiling her long hair at the back of her head, and donning the sun hat to cover her alluring face.

The devils fell silent for a while, their presence established, their stature elevated, truly embodied the air of Hell’s special agents.
Almost perfect.
But aren’t you three a bit too ostentatious? These appearances are obviously problematic. Forget about going to Windsor, I’m afraid you’ll encounter the Holy See’s clergy for inspection just by stepping out of the Underworld Great Tomb.
"Change, something more ordinary."
Five seconds later, a fresh combination of passersby: dockworker + old cobbler + factory working woman.
This should do it!
"Go to Lundan, find the newly appointed Death Knight, and give him a little Hellish shake-up!"
"As you command."x3
"Cackle cackle cackle————"xN

Moonlight Church, library.
The Church’s base was renovated, the once dilapidated cathedral restored to its former glory, with Church members called from various places walking among it.
The full moon hung high, the waterfall’s spray thundering, a sight of thriving life with all things in full bloom before their eyes.
High Priest’s office.
Pushing open the wardrobe revealed a living room cum study, with the full moon hanging outside the floor-to-ceiling window, casting cold moonlight and silvery glimmers across the sofa, bathtub, desk, and double bed—all laid out as a battlefield.
The High Priest couldn’t be bothered to keep up appearances, turning his office into a love nest, having invited his young boyfriend over for some intimacy.
"What, you want to participate in the Naturalism Church’s Holy Maiden selection?"
"Saint Heir."
"Saint Heir won’t do either!"
Philomena pinpointed the crux, barely holding back her laughter, "If you’re not pure anymore, what right do you have to become the Saint Heir?"
"Don’t talk nonsense, I’ve always been pure, okay."
Wayne refused to accept this, although he had done that, but he knew he was a good boy, as pure as a blank sheet of paper.
Philomena rolled her eyes, teasing him, "The Naturalism Church is really open-minded, at our Moonlight Church, I would have eliminated you in the first round."
"It’s all the good work of you, the High Priest. If it weren’t for you, I would definitely be pure."
I’d believe that when I see it!
Philomena leaned on her little boyfriend’s shoulder, warning, "Withdraw from the selection immediately. Don’t joke about the faith in deities. Impurity is impurity, there’s no such thing as luck. Once a deity descends, your sullied soul will instantly turn to ashes."
"Fussing over nothing."
Wayne asked curiously, "Do deities also browse the memories of their avatars?"
"What else? You have no secrets in front of a God."
Philomena nibbled on Wayne’s ear, she had finally found a shoulder to lean on for life, and she wouldn’t dream of widowing at such a young age. Determined to rid Wayne of any desire to become the Saint Heir, she turned over and attempted to pin him down.
She didn’t manage to turn over, as Wayne pressed her down instead.
"Stop messing around. I still have to participate in the Saint Heir selection, don’t even think about defiling my pure body."
"To be frank, you can’t be considered pure."
"Hey, you seem pretty pleased with yourself!"
Wayne held Philomena’s strong, pulsing heartbeat, "Tell me, what processes do the selection for the Holy Maiden and the Saint Heir involve? Is the Life Alliance just one step?" fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com
"It’s pretty much one process, and when necessary, a Holy Maiden could be shared."
"Shared?!"
"Yes, during times of faith wars, there have been severe casualties, and there are records of shared Holy Maidens..."
Philomena thought for a moment, "I’ve seen records at the Church headquarters; it was a long time ago, with no precise dates given. All I know is that the Life Alliance had been formed back then, and our enemies were darkness and death."
"Do darkness and death also share a Holy Maiden?"
"Not sure."
Philomena shook her head, returning to the previous topic. She really cared about Wayne, persuading him, "The Goddess does not tolerate sacrilege. Don’t joke with your life. For the sake of our children, don’t compete for the title of Saint Heir."
"Children?!" Wayne went pale.
"Yes."
Philomena lay on Wayne’s shoulder; although they hadn’t done the deed, she had already thought of names, her eyes narrowing, "If it’s a boy, we’ll name him Damian; if it’s a girl, Helena. What do you think?"
"..."
Wayne: (._.=゜一゜)
"Say something!"
"I think there’s a man named Clark on the God-chosen Continent, and he’s the true love of my life."
"Huh?"
