Mystic Calling:Stone of Glory-Chapter 460: Green Dragon Orryn
Chapter 460: Green Dragon Orryn
"It’s not that simple," Azareth said, shaking his head, his eyes glinting with unease. "Aside from that Gold Dragon, the Emerald Castle also has a Crimson Ultimate Green Dragon hero named Seraphina. She’s no joke. Honestly, I think her power is already brushing up against King-tier levels. Unless you or Baelthar step in personally, taking them out is going to be... really damn hard."
He hadn’t actually faced Seraphina in battle yet—
But that was only because he’d been avoiding her from the very beginning.
He knew full well he was no match for her.
If they ever clashed head-on, he’d be crushed. No question.
Hell, she might even kill him outright.
That’s why he’d chosen to stay out of her way, to maneuver around her instead of confronting her directly.
And he knew—better than anyone—that someone like Seraphina, someone at that level, could only be dealt with by another King-tier powerhouse.
But right now, both Malgrath and Baelthar were being tightly watched—one by the two angels from the Castle faction, and the other by that Arcane Eagle from the Tower faction.
If either of them made a move, those guys wouldn’t just sit back and watch.
And if things escalated into an all-out clash between King-tier champions on both sides... well, that was the last thing they wanted.
They preferred to stay in control, to toy with their enemies, to savor the thrill of war and the despair of their foes.
But a full-blown King-tier showdown? That was chaos. That was unpredictable. That was not their game.
So expecting Malgrath or Baelthar to step in personally? Not exactly realistic.
But Malgrath just chuckled at that and said, "Azareth, don’t forget—we’ve got our own cards to play. You know who just showed up? Ignarok. The war at sea’s over, and he’s looking for a new thrill. I told him to come here."
"If he joins us, we’ll have way more room to maneuver."
Azareth blinked, then a cold smirk crept across his face. "Is that so? Well then... maybe it’s time we gave it a shot."
"I’ve gotta admit, this Emerald Castle has really piqued my interest. It’s been a long time since I’ve tasted defeat. Now that they’ve handed me a lesson, I think it’s only fair I return the favor."
"There’ll be a chance," Malgrath said with a thin smile, his voice turning icy. "Come on. Let’s go find Baelthar and Ashendar. We’ve been locked in this stalemate with those damn angels long enough. It’s time to settle things."
"And next... I’ll make sure they get a taste of true despair. Hahaha... HAHAHAHAHA!"
"As you wish, Lord Malgrath!"
...
A few days later—
Inside Emerald Castle—
"Orryn, congratulations. You did it." Ethan’s face lit up with a satisfied smile as he looked at the newly evolved Crimson Ultimate Green Dragon hero standing before him.
"It’s all thanks to you, my great lord," Orryn said, bowing his massive dragon head low in front of Ethan, his voice full of reverence. "Without your guidance, I never would’ve made it this far. I’m forever grateful for your blessing."
His eyes were shining with emotion, his whole face glowing with excitement.
He’d actually become a Crimson Ultimate hero...
Honestly, it was something he’d never even dared to dream of. The process of evolving from an Ace Unit to a Hero Unit was brutal—only those who’d been through it knew how hard it really was.
If it hadn’t been for Ethan’s help, he probably never would’ve made it. Not in this lifetime.
So yeah, he was grateful. Deeply, genuinely grateful.
Ethan had changed his future—maybe even his entire life.
Ethan smiled at that, then brought up Orryn’s stat panel.

Overall Rating: D-rank Crimson Ultimate Hero (33%)
"Only D-rank, huh..." Ethan’s eyes flickered as he muttered to himself.
D-rank meant Orryn’s potential, talent, and overall strength were at the bottom tier of Crimson Ultimate heroes. That was a bit of a letdown... though, honestly, not all that surprising.
After all, Orryn’s evolution progress had been pretty mediocre from the start. His base strength wasn’t anything special either. The only reason he’d even made it to Crimson Ultimate was because of those ridiculously overpowered quest rewards Ethan had given him.
Without those items?
Yeah, no way in hell Orryn would’ve ever reached this level in his lifetime.
"Well, whatever. D-rank is still Crimson Ultimate," Ethan muttered, brushing off the disappointment. "Besides... I’ve still got this."
He pulled out the item he’d been saving—
Hero Tier Advancement Scroll (Crimson Ultimate Hero)
Allows a Crimson Ultimate Hero to advance to the next sub-tier.
Full effect only applies to D-rank Crimson Ultimate Heroes.
Effect is halved for C-rank heroes.
Completely ineffective on B-rank and above.
"If I use this on Orryn, he should be able to push up to C-rank, right? Worth a shot..."
Murmuring to himself, Ethan unrolled the scroll.
Ding!

Congratulations, Player Valkarion! Your SS-rank item, Hero Tier Advancement Scroll (Crimson Ultimate Hero), is now taking effect on your Hero Unit: Green Dragon Orryn. Please stand by. Evolution in progress!
BOOM!
The moment the system message ended, a violent storm of deep emerald energy exploded outward, centered on Orryn. The swirling vortex of power wrapped around him like a cocoon, expanding rapidly and unleashing a terrifying wave of raw Draconic Force.
At the same time—
The shockwave blasted through the entire Emerald Castle, shaking the walls and sending a massive windstorm tearing through the halls.
"It’s starting..." Ethan’s eyes lit up with excitement. Without hesitation, he activated the power of the Sacred Realm, casting a protective barrier that sealed off the surrounding area, shielding everything from the chaotic energy erupting from Orryn’s transformation.
