My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 132 - 126: The Vance Family of Syland City
The sky was a brilliant blue, and the very top of the Ferris wheel seemed to touch the clouds.
Aurora Sinclair looked back at him, her slender, upturned eyes impossibly beautiful. A plum blossom design was painted on her forehead. All the girls had one, but hers was the most stunning.
Her eyes held a trace of confusion. "You’re the one who said no dating too early."
Alvin Morgan froze. He suddenly felt like he’d shot himself in the foot.
He coughed twice, then said unnaturally, "Once you start college, you can date."
But Aurora Sinclair shook her head. "I don’t know. Master said that if you want to reach the peak of Martial Arts, you can’t let emotions tie you down."
After Aurora Sinclair turned away, Alvin Morgan’s gaze darkened.
He’d forgotten. The Sect Leader of the Radiant Void Sect could not marry.
"Aurora, do you want to pursue that peak?"
Aurora Sinclair nodded. "Master says only the strongest can protect the most people!"
Alvin Morgan’s hand suddenly tightened into a fist.
’Master Aerion...’

When they got off the Ferris wheel, Dean Morgan could clearly sense that his master was in a terrible mood. He couldn’t help but glance at Aurora Sinclair.
But her expression was normal as she led the two children to buy cotton candy.
"Dixon, what’s wrong with our Young Master?" Drake Morgan asked, sidling up to Dean Morgan and whispering.
Dean Morgan shook his head. "I don’t know. It probably has to do with Miss Sinclair."
"Has the Young Master really taken a fancy to her?"
Dean Morgan hesitated for a moment, then nodded.
Drake Morgan found this a bit hard to accept. ’Could such a beautiful, young girl secure her position as the Lady of the Morgan House in the future?’
He was worried!

The amusement park was holding a parade today, and a huge crowd had gathered to watch.
Jean Quincy and Leigh Miles were having the time of their lives, and they, along with the two older boys, had all disappeared into the crowd.
Aurora Sinclair and Alvin Morgan protected the two youngest children, walking along the edge of the crowd.
Suddenly, a pair of strong hands snatched up Titus Miles and started running.
Aurora Sinclair was fast, but several people deliberately blocked her path.
Dean Morgan saw what was happening and immediately gave chase. He had only taken a few steps when a blood-curdling scream pierced the air.
A small commotion erupted in the crowd. By the time Dean arrived, the man who had been holding Titus Miles was on the ground, clutching his arm and writhing in pain.
Titus Miles stood beside him, eyes welling with tears, looking aggrieved and helpless.
Aurora Sinclair finally broke free from the people blocking her and ran over, sweeping Titus Miles into her arms.
"Senior Sister... It hurts..." Titus Miles said aggrievedly, lifting his shirt for Aurora Sinclair to see.
There was a small, purplish-blue bruise on his fair little stomach. Critically, there was a tiny needle mark in the center of it.
Aurora Sinclair took a small bottle from her pocket and applied some medicine, but her gaze was stern, hinting at a looming explosion of anger.
"Tiger... Are you okay?" Leigh Miles pushed through the crowd and ran over, her face etched with worry.
Tiger suddenly swayed twice and collapsed right into Aurora Sinclair’s arms.
Terrified, Leigh Miles quickly checked his pulse and eyelids. After a moment of frantic examination, she finally let out a sigh of relief.
"He’s just asleep."
Just then, Drake Morgan and Dean Morgan walked over, each one restraining a man. "Young Master, there’s something wrong with these two!"
"Let me go! Mr. Bruno! What did you do to him?" one of the restrained men struggled and yelled.
"Since you know him, start talking!" Drake Morgan shoved the man in his grasp to the ground next to the one who was still writhing in pain.
"Mr. Bruno! Mr. Bruno, what’s wrong?" The man’s face was filled with worry. He knelt beside his companion, not knowing what to do, his eyes turning red. He glared viciously back at them. "Why did you attack him?"
"You’re a kidnapper, and you have the nerve to accuse us first? Look what you did to my brother! Let me tell you, if anything happens to him, I won’t let you off!"
Leigh Miles was furious. She hated kidnappers more than anything and wished she could beat up every single one she saw.
If it hadn’t been for people like them back then, her Senior Sister wouldn’t have been so severely injured. Her entire arm had almost been crippled.
But the man retorted brazenly, "What kidnapper? This is the lost young master of our Vance Family! If you don’t believe me, go ask around! Is the Vance Family of Syland City someone you can afford to offend? Hand over the young master now!"
"Nonsense—this is my biological brother!" Leigh Miles was so enraged that the Power within her body surged, causing the faces of all the men around her to change.
"Leigh Miles..." Alvin Morgan called out to her. He then looked at the two men on the ground, his gaze turning cold. "Sister-in-law, take them to the hospital first..."
Zella Vaughn immediately stepped forward. Her expression was no longer as gentle as before. She gave the two men on the ground a cold look and left first with the children.
In the car, Leigh Miles was fuming. "Kidnappers these days are so brazen! Snatching a child in broad daylight! It’s despicable!"
Zella Vaughn glanced at her and Titus Miles. Although she didn’t say anything, suspicion grew in her heart. ’The two siblings really don’t look alike,’ she thought. ’And the Vance Family of Syland City did lose a child back then.’

「Four hours later.」
Titus Miles woke up in a VIP hospital room.
Leigh Miles rushed forward excitedly. "Tiger, are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?"
"...Cott... ton..."
Annoyed, Leigh Miles picked up a small cup from the side. "You’re still thinking about cotton candy at a time like this? Drink some water..."
Titus Miles was still afraid of Leigh Miles. He looked at her timidly, obediently letting her feed him a few sips of water before frowning and saying, "...Hurts..."
Zella Vaughn, who hadn’t dared to leave, immediately came over to check the IV needle in his hand. She comforted him, "Be a good boy, Tiger. It won’t hurt after the IV is done."
She was a neurosurgeon at Kingsford’s top hospital and was very knowledgeable about drugs that paralyzed the nervous system. She had already called a former classmate at a Syland City hospital to prepare a nerve neutralizing agent.
According to the blood analysis, Titus Miles had been injected with a common sedative. A couple of IV bags would be enough for him to recover. However, the people who had drugged him were indeed from the Vance Family of Syland City.
They had photos of Titus Miles as a child and were also preparing to do a paternity test.
Alvin Morgan agreed to the test, but he demanded that the entire process be supervised by the Morgan Family.
When the Family Head of the Vance Family in Syland City found out that the people his men had been trailing were from the Morgan Family, his face turned pale with fright.
He quickly sent someone to invite Alvin Morgan to the Vance estate. The Vance Family wasn’t large; there was only one son and one daughter.
The one who had lost the child was the eldest son, Aiden Vance. Because of this, his wife, Indie Lowell, developed a psychosomatic illness and her mental state suffered.
However, in the past two years, the Vance Family Head, Derek Vance, had used his eldest son Aiden’s lack of an heir as a reason to force him to adopt the young son of his younger sister, Connie Vance.
Perhaps it was the presence of the child, but Indie Lowell’s mental state had shown some improvement.
The reason she had sent people to find Titus Miles this time was that she happened to run into Leigh Miles leading him out of the hotel where Aurora Sinclair and the others were staying.
She was too shocked at the time to follow them, so she sent people to investigate the pair.
After successfully obtaining a photo of Titus Miles, she cried with excitement, insisting that the boy was her son.
When Aiden Vance saw the photo, he became excited as well. Titus Miles’s face was the spitting image of his own when he was a child.
He immediately sent people to bring the child back, which led to the incident at the amusement park.
Although Aiden Vance kept trying to explain to Alvin Morgan, hoping he would let the three members of the Vance Family go, Alvin wasn’t buying it. He still had the Martial Affairs Bureau intervene and investigate them.
Once the Martial Affairs Bureau got involved, the nature of the matter would escalate significantly.

The spacious and bright living room was now enveloped in a terrifyingly quiet atmosphere.
The members of the Vance Family watched Alvin Morgan and Noah Morgan, fidgeting uneasily.
The Martial Affairs Bureau stated that they had used a controlled substance on a child, but Aiden Vance and Indie Lowell knew nothing about it.
In other words, someone had given the order behind their backs, which made the two of them furious.
Just then, Dean Morgan walked in from outside with a solemn expression. He leaned in and whispered a few words in Alvin Morgan’s ear, then stood respectfully behind him.
The members of the Vance Family grew even more terrified.
The Vance Family Head, Derek Vance, asked cautiously, "Young Lord Morgan, is that child my grandson?"
