My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 103 - 97: It’s Up to You to Win Back Master Lockwood’s Face
The waves crashed, the sea breeze was chilling, and everything was pitch-black. Beta Morgan crouched by a rock on the shore, shivering, the flashlight on his watch cutting through the darkness. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
’He deeply regretted opening his big mouth.’
Just then, his watch finally vibrated twice. Beta Morgan’s eyes instantly welled up. He tapped the watch face and heard Dean Morgan’s voice—it was like the music of the heavens. "Mr. Beta, the Master wants you to come back."
Tears of joy streamed down his frozen face. He grabbed the bucket from the ground and, not even bothering with his shoes, sprinted barefoot toward the villa.
When Beta Morgan saw Dean Morgan’s deadpan face, he was so moved he could have cried.
Dean Morgan took the bucket from him and patted his shoulder, saying sympathetically, "The Master said that from now on, you’re to gather sea crabs during the day. If you don’t finish, you can continue the next day..."
Beta Morgan really did cry.

In the game room, Aurora Sinclair successfully logged into Beta Morgan’s assassin account and entered The Grand Arena for the first time.
Beta Morgan’s assassin was only Level 60. He’d always used it as an alt for life skills; it didn’t have a single piece of blue-rarity gear, and its Skill points were a random mess.
Alvin Morgan’s brow furrowed slightly. This spooked Beta Morgan, who immediately picked up the seafood fried rice Aurora Sinclair had made for him and moved to a different spot.
Alvin Morgan asked, "Aurora, is this account okay? Do you want to use mine?"
"It’s fine, it’ll work." Aurora Sinclair rearranged the assassin’s Skills to her preferred layout, reset the hotkeys, and then did a few moves to get a feel for the character.
Arthur Lockwood watched the assassin on the screen execute a combo with impressive vigor and couldn’t help but laugh. "Not bad, Aurora. You’ve got some moves."
Aurora Sinclair nodded. "Mhm..."
"Alright, I’m getting serious now." Arthur Lockwood cracked his knuckles, his expression turning sharp, losing his usual cavalier attitude.
To be fair, he started a gear-equalized match and swapped all his equipment for green-rarity gear, making his combat power roughly the same as Aurora Sinclair’s assassin.
A flashing countdown appeared on the computer screen.
3... 2... 1... 0
Arthur Lockwood took the initiative, his Swordsman’s advanced class, the Berserker, surging forward. He used [Berserker’s Rage] to boost his attack, then charged at the assassin’s small frame with his axe held high.
The assassin remained calm, leaping back to dodge the Berserker’s attack. A smirk played on Arthur Lockwood’s lips as he threw his axe in a reverse grip, sending it flying straight at the assassin.
The assassin blocked but still took a small amount of damage.
Though she didn’t understand the game, Susan Warner, who was watching nearby, could tell Arthur Lockwood had hurt Aurora Sinclair. She said disapprovingly, "Arthur, go easy on a girl..."
Arthur Lockwood looked smug. "Alright, whatever you say..."
Aurora Sinclair pursed her lips and suddenly increased her hand speed. The assassin fearlessly charged forward.
"Go on, Aurora, your big bro will let you get a hit in!" Arthur Lockwood said, unconcerned.
But that single hit was all it took. The Berserker never got another chance to fight back.
Aurora Sinclair’s hand speed suddenly skyrocketed. Her use of the assassin’s Skills became incredibly fluid, and massive "Critical Hit" and "Combo" notifications flashed constantly on her screen.
The Berserker wasn’t launched into the air, but Aurora Sinclair stun-locked him, reducing his mobility to zero. A huge "Weakened and Crippled" status icon appeared above the Berserker’s head.
To finish, Aurora Sinclair even executed [Ten Thousand Shadows Continuous Stabbing], wiping out the Berserker’s remaining health in one go.
Arthur Lockwood stared dumbfounded as his screen turned gray. A giant "DEFEAT" left him speechless for a long moment.
Finally, his voice cracking, he whined, "Aurora, that’s not cool! I said you could have one hit, not keep hitting me!"
The Morgan men standing behind him were slack-jawed, looking at Aurora Sinclair with complicated expressions. It seemed hard to believe that a high-HP, high-attack Berserker had lost to a squishy little assassin.
"Next!" Alvin Morgan’s calm voice rang out.
Arthur Lockwood gave up his seat, pointing at Flynn Morgan. "Flynn! It’s up to you to restore Master Lockwood’s honor."
Flynn Morgan didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, but he sat down anyway.
He had competed alongside Alvin Morgan before. His PVP skills were top-tier, his arena score was second only to Alvin’s, and he was ranked at Martial Lord, Eighth Rank.
If it weren’t for Alvin Morgan, he would be the most dazzling player on Server 1.
Arthur Lockwood gloated to Aurora Sinclair, "Aurora, you’ve met your match this time! Flynn’s class is a melee-killer..."
Aurora Sinclair gave him a blank look and nodded.
Flynn Morgan played Archery’s advanced class, the Divine Archer.
This class dealt purely physical ranged attacks, giving it an advantage against a melee assassin.
After the match began, Flynn Morgan didn’t hold back, immediately aiming an AoE [Thousand Arrows] at the little assassin.
Although Aurora Sinclair activated stealth and scrambled to get away, the Skill still turned her into a "pincushion." Susan Warner watched with a deep frown, tutting as if she couldn’t bear to look.
Gaining the upper hand didn’t make Flynn Morgan let his guard down. He kept firing Skills in the directions he predicted Aurora Sinclair might flee.
His hand speed was fast, making him much harder to deal with than Arthur Lockwood.
Aurora Sinclair watched the struggling assassin on her screen, pursed her lips, and used the [Hidden Weapon] Skill. Her character’s stealth instantly broke as she used [Assassin Sprint] to close the distance to the Divine Archer. However, the moment he was hit, Flynn Morgan retreated, once again putting safe distance between them.
With no other choice, after unleashing a volley of Hidden Weapon Skills, Aurora Sinclair went into stealth again. This time, she used basic Body Technique Skills, her lightning-fast hands executing a serpentine movement pattern to desperately dodge the barrage of attacks.
Finally, with only a fifth of her health remaining, she got close to the Divine Archer.
A simple stab landed squarely in the center of the Divine Archer’s back. Aurora Sinclair’s hand speed surged again, using the assassin’s basic Body Technique Skills to create a combo effect that locked the Divine Archer within her attack range.
Flynn Morgan was shocked. He tried desperately to block and create distance, but he couldn’t escape.
Aurora Sinclair’s inputs were just too fast. The basic Body Technique Skills were all instant-cast, which meant her current hand speed far surpassed his own.
With the assassin’s [Deadly Strike] and [One Slash Throat Seal], the image on Flynn Morgan’s screen turned gray. But in this battle, Aurora Sinclair had won with a razor-thin margin of just over 300 health points.
Aurora Sinclair looked up at Flynn Morgan and said earnestly, "You’re very strong!"
Flynn Morgan smiled shyly and returned the compliment.
In the following matches, none of The Morgans managed to win. Aurora Sinclair basically KO’d them all within 60 seconds.
The more Arthur Lockwood watched, the more stunned he became. He even ran over to Aurora Sinclair’s side to watch her play. After witnessing her hand speed, he said excitedly, "Aurora, you should sign with my team! When we win the championship, you can have all the prize money..."
Before Aurora Sinclair could react, Leigh Miles’s eyes lit up and she stood up. "Really?"
She even pulled a small ledger from her pocket, flipped to a certain page, and pointed at the prize money listed there for Arthur Lockwood to see.
Arthur Lockwood glanced at it casually and replied with a smug look, "Of course it’s real! Your big bro Lockwood isn’t short on cash. Go ahead and ask around—among all the teams, my team is the most loaded!"
The words had barely left his mouth when Alvin Morgan shot him a cool glance and added with a sneer, "But you’ve never even made it to the semifinals."
Arthur Lockwood’s face flushed. He gave an awkward laugh and pressed on with his pitch, "Aurora, don’t listen to Morgan. He’s the one who originally founded this team. He and Flynn were among the first members. You could say it’s a veteran championship team..."
As soon as he said that, a chorus of boos erupted around him.
Arthur Lockwood said with a shameless grin, "Hey, don’t boo me! This was your Master’s team back in the day, show some respect!"
The boos grew louder.
A smirk played on Alvin Morgan’s lips. He turned to Aurora Sinclair and asked, "Do you want to sign with a team?"
Aurora Sinclair thought for a moment and nodded. "Shawn said winning the championship earns money."
Alvin Morgan immediately thought of the 53 million owed by The Radiant Void Sect. He reached out and ruffled her hair. "You can sign with his team, but you can’t let it interfere with your studies..."
Aurora Sinclair nodded solemnly.
Hearing this, Arthur Lockwood was dumbfounded. He looked at Alvin Morgan in disbelief. "Morgan... you... what did you just say?"
"Bring me the team contract!"
"Huh?"
Flynn Morgan clapped Arthur Lockwood on the shoulder. "Young Master Lockwood, hurry up and go!" he said, exasperated.
Arthur Lockwood let out a yell and bolted out of the game room...
