My Ultimate Gacha System-Chapter 342 - 16: AGENT NEGOTIATION PERK ACTIVATED I
Small-Sided Game — 4:30 PM
Seven versus seven on half a pitch. Demien’s team: Eze, Gallagher, Trippier, Guehi, Mings, Ramsdale. Opposition: Rice, Henderson, Foden, Grealish, Walker, Stones, Pickford.
Rice was the difference on the other side, not because he was doing anything spectacular but because the positions he occupied between every pass made every player around him better without any of them needing to ask. The space he held in midfield made Henderson’s job simpler and Foden’s job simpler and every attacking move ran through a structure that didn’t require organisation because Rice provided it automatically. Demien had watched that on television for two years and understood it intellectually. Watching it from fifteen yards away in a training game was a different thing.
He tried to match it. Tracked back when the ball went wide, occupied the central channel when his team had possession, read where the second ball would drop. He was correct most of the time and effective some of the time.
In the twentieth minute he drove forward with the ball from the halfway line — two touches to accelerate, the way he would at Atalanta — and then Henderson was on him, not pressing but positioned, and the angle to Eze was closed and the only clean option was back the way he’d come. He played it to Guehi and reset.
In the sixty-eighth minute Gallagher won possession deep and drove forward and found Demien checking short, and as he received he saw Eze’s diagonal run splitting the space between the two centre-backs and the angle was there.
「LEGENDARY SKILL ACTIVATED」 Andrea Pirlo — Deep-Lying Playmaker
The pass threaded through before Henderson could close the lane — perfect weight, perfect angle, into Eze’s stride where he could shoot without an extra touch — and Eze finished low past Pickford.
On the touchline Southgate’s assistant made a mark on his clipboard.
The game ran another ten minutes and ended at five and Southgate blew the whistle and told them recovery tonight, assessments and tactical work tomorrow, Malta on Friday, squad announcement Thursday, any niggles to the medical suite before nine.
Then he turned and walked back to the building.
Changing Room — 5:10 PM
Eze sat down beside him while Demien was unlacing his left boot and said without preamble: "That pass for my goal."
"Yeah," Demien said.
"That was different from everything else today," Eze said.
Demien pulled his boot off and set it down. "Just the one moment," he said.
Eze thought about that. "Still," he said.
They changed in silence after that and he showered and when he was drying off the system panel appeared.
「DAILY TRAINING MISSION COMPLETE」 「Pass Accuracy: 91%」 「REWARD: +10 TP」 「BONUS OBJECTIVE: ACHIEVED」 「Coaching Staff Impression: Noted — One key action」
「UPDATED BALANCE」 「TP: 1,490 | SP: 7 | MP: 813」
He looked at the assessment for a moment.
One action. That was honest.
Room 318 — 10:00 PM
Kalvin Phillips had arrived during dinner — his bag was unpacked and his trainers were by the door and he was lying on his bed with the TV on low showing something he wasn’t watching, and when Demien came in he looked over and said "alright" and went back to the TV, which was the correct amount of roommate energy for the first night and Demien appreciated it.
He sat at the desk and opened his laptop and pulled up Marco’s briefing document, and the first attachment was labelled LIVERPOOL FC — FORMAL OFFER — JUNE 2023, and he opened it and read.

He was two-thirds down the page when the blue glow appeared at the corner of his vision.
「TRAIT ACTIVATED」 「AGENT NEGOTIATION PERK — CONTRACT ANALYSIS」
「LIVERPOOL FC — ASSESSMENT」 「· Base Salary: COMPETITIVE for age and profile」 「· Signing Bonus: ABOVE MARKET for first Premier League contract」 「· Appearance/Goal Bonuses: FAIR — standard Premier League structure」 「· Image Rights: UNFAVORABLE」 「· ISSUE: "Qualifying income" definition excludes Liverpool-branded commercial content」 「· Club kit partnerships, stadium commercial deals, Liverpool-owned licensing revenue sit outside the 20% share」 「· Effective player split closer to 12–14% of total image revenue generated」 「· Buyout Clause: RESTRICTIVE」 「· £85M activating after 24 months limits exit to 4–5 clubs globally」 「· Standard protective clause favours club — no corresponding player exit protection」 「· MISSING: Playing time protection clause」 「· RECOMMENDATION: Renegotiate image rights definition, reduce buyout or accelerate activation, add conditional exit provision」
The panel faded.
He went back to the image rights section and read the definition of qualifying income again, and the word standalone was the gap — it excluded anything that ran through Liverpool’s existing commercial infrastructure, which was the majority of the commercial revenue a high-profile player at that club generated. The 20% was real. It just applied to a smaller number than it appeared to.
He opened a blank document beside the offer and typed his first note: Image rights — redefine qualifying income. Full calculation not standalone only. Minimum 70/30.
He kept reading. Buyout clause at £85 million after two years. He counted the clubs who could realistically pay that and reached five. If his performance warranted a move, his options would be limited to a small group. He typed: Buyout — reduce to £65M or activate after 12 months not 24.
He closed the Liverpool document and opened the second attachment. MANCHESTER UNITED FC — FORMAL OFFER — JUNE 2023.

「TRAIT ACTIVATED」 「AGENT NEGOTIATION PERK — CONTRACT ANALYSIS」
「MANCHESTER UNITED FC — ASSESSMENT」 「· Base Salary: ABOVE MARKET — highest offer on table」 「· Signing Bonus: ABOVE MARKET」 「· Image Rights: BETTER THAN LIVERPOOL on surface — 25% stated」 「· ISSUE: Same exclusion problem — "excluding Manchester United brand and partner revenue" removes majority of commercial income from calculation」 「· Effective rate similar to Liverpool — 25% of a smaller denominator」 「· Commercial Obligations: PROBLEMATIC」 「· 12 appearance days minimum + tour obligations」 「· "Reasonable duration" appears twice with no ceiling defined」 「· "Club’s reasonable discretion" = club determines meaning of reasonable」 「· Realistic commitment: 12 days + 14–21 day tour minimum = 26–33 days per year」 「· Wage Escalator: UNFAVORABLE」 「· 5% annual increase regardless of appearances = no protection if injured or benched」 「· Standard structure rewards time not performance」 「· No Buyout Clause: HIGH RISK」 「· Transfer requires mutual consent — club holds all exit leverage」 「· MISSING: Playing time protection, commercial day ceiling, tour duration cap」 「· RECOMMENDATION: Reduce commercial days, define tour ceiling, tie escalator to starts, add exit clause with agreed fee」
The panel faded.
He went back to the commercial obligations section and read both instances of reasonable on the same paragraph. Two occurrences, neither defined, both giving the club discretion. One clause, two gaps.
He typed into the notes document: Commercial — maximum 8 days, written not discretionary. Tour — hard ceiling 14 days, explicit. Escalator — tie to starts not time. Exit clause — agreed fee both parties if playing time falls below threshold.
He opened the third attachment. FC BAYERN MÜNCHEN — FORMAL OFFER — JUNE 2023.
