My Three Beautiful Vampire Wives can hear my Inner Thoughts-Chapter 161: Faith have Faith
The cry tore through the clearing like something breaking from deep inside the chest, raw and unrestrained, filled with fear, anger, and a refusal that could not be buried.
Before anyone could even understand where it came from, the air above them rippled.
A surge of dark red mana gathered in an instant.
Faith moved.
Her body lifted from the ground as if pulled by something unseen, her long black hair rising with her as power flooded out of her in waves. In the span of a heartbeat, her form changed. Wings burst from her back, wide and powerful, their edges glowing faintly with a deep crimson light that pulsed like a heartbeat.
She did not hesitate.
She flew straight toward Cain.
The force of her movement sent a strong wind through the clearing, scattering dust and loose stones, making even the armored soldiers take a step back.
Cain’s eyes widened.
He felt it.
The power coming from her.
It was not the same as before.
It was heavier, deeper, filled with a strength that felt almost overwhelming.
His breath caught.
"She became stronger..."
The thought echoed in his mind, sharp and immediate.
His heart pounded.
"Don’t tell me..."
A chill ran through him.
"...the three of them got stronger too when I regained my strength in that nightmare realm?"
His eyes flicked briefly toward Ivira and Cornelia.
They had not moved yet.
But something about them felt different.
Something dangerous.
His chest tightened.
"That means..."
The realization struck him hard.
"They can beat these princesses."
He could almost see it.
If Faith, Ivira, and Cornelia released their full power, if they let their bloodlust rise without restraint, the pressure alone might be enough to force the princesses to their knees.
They could even kill them.
Right here.
Right now.
Cain clenched his jaw.
"No."
He forced the thought away.
"They don’t know."
His breathing steadied.
"They don’t have any idea yet."
He repeated it in his mind like something he needed to believe.
"They don’t understand what they’ve become."
Faith landed in front of him.
Her wings spread wide, forming a barrier between him and the princesses.
Her chest rose and fell quickly as she faced them.
"No!"
Her voice shook, not from weakness, but from the intensity of what she felt.
"You can’t take him!"
Her hands clenched at her sides.
"You can’t take him!"
Her eyes burned as she looked straight at Princess Aurelia.
"He’s mine!"
The words came out louder.
More desperate.
More raw.
"He’s mine!"
Her voice cracked slightly, but she did not stop.
"He’s my Cain!"
The entire clearing fell silent again.
Faith’s breathing grew uneven as her emotions poured out without restraint.
"You don’t understand!"
She took a step forward.
"You don’t know anything about him!"
Her wings trembled slightly behind her.
"He’s not just someone you can take!"
Her voice softened for a brief moment, but it carried even more weight.
"He’s not just... a person to trade."
Her eyes lowered slightly.
"...he’s mine."
The possessiveness in her voice was clear.
Strong.
Unshaken.
Behind her, Zenaya straightened.
A proud smile slowly appeared on her face.
"Yes."
Her voice carried confidence.
"No one is allowed to take a member of the Moonshade family."
She stepped forward as well.
"He belongs here."
Her gaze hardened.
"And we do not hand over our own."
Rivik watched the scene unfold.
His eyes moved from Faith to Cain.
Cain avoided his gaze.
For a brief moment, something passed between them.
Then—
Cain stepped closer.
He moved behind Faith.
Without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around her from behind.
The warmth of her body met his instantly.
He could feel the heat of her skin, the faint scent of sweat from the intensity of her emotions, the way her breathing was still uneven.
Faith froze for a second.
Then she relaxed.
Just slightly.
Her hands moved back and gently held onto his arms.
Her lips parted as a small smile formed on her face.
It was fragile.
But it was real.
At the same time, her eyes remained fixed on the princesses.
Fear still lingered there.
She did not let go.
Rivik took a step forward.
His expression tightened.
"Faith."
His voice carried authority, but there was hesitation in it.
"Listen to me." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Faith did not turn.
"No."
Her answer came immediately.
Rivik’s brows furrowed.
"You don’t understand the situation."
"I understand enough."
Her grip on Cain’s arms tightened.
"They want to take him."
Her voice hardened.
"And I won’t let them."
Rivik exhaled slowly.
"Faith..."
He stepped closer.
"Think about the family."
Faith’s shoulders tensed.
"I am thinking about the family."
Her voice remained steady.
"And he’s part of it."
Rivik’s jaw tightened.
"You’re letting your emotions control you."
Faith shook her head.
"No."
She finally turned slightly, just enough to look at him.
"I’m choosing what matters."
Her eyes held a stubborn light.
Rivik paused.
For a brief moment, he did not know what to say.
Then his gaze moved toward Cain.
Cain met his eyes.
And then—
Cain smiled.
It was small.
But it was enough.
Rivik’s expression changed instantly.
His eyes widened slightly.
Then anger rose.
"You knew this."
His voice dropped.
"You knew my youngest daughter would act like this."
His fists clenched.
"You planned this, didn’t you?"
The accusation cut through the air.
"You never intended to sacrifice yourself!"
His voice grew louder.
"You—"
The Moonshade vampires began whispering among themselves.
"What?"
"He knew?"
"Then why did he act like that?"
Some of them looked confused.
Others frowned.
"...Maybe..."
One of them spoke quietly.
"...he wanted to trigger their feelings."
Another nodded slowly.
"That makes sense."
"He acted like he was going to die..."
"...so they would stop him."
More whispers spread.
"That’s clever."
"Too clever..."
Cain raised an eyebrow slightly.
Then he sighed.
"Master Rivik..."
His voice sounded almost tired.
"What are you saying?"
He shook his head.
"I know you hated me but I know my limit."
His gaze remained calm.
"So if I can help the family..."
"...then I need to."
Faith tightened her grip.
"You don’t."
Her voice came out firm.
"You don’t need to prove anything."
She stepped forward, placing herself more clearly in front of him.
"You were willing to go."
She glanced back at him briefly.
"That is enough."
Then she faced Rivik again.
"But I won’t let you accuse him like that, father."
Rivik’s face twitched.
"This green tea hooligan..."
He muttered under his breath.
Faith ignored him.
Her attention returned to the princesses.
She stepped forward.
"I don’t know what you want from Cain."
Her voice remained steady.
"But I will not agree."
Her wings spread slightly wider.
"You cannot take him away from me."
Zenaya nodded firmly.
"Exactly."
She stood beside Faith.
"He is an important member of the Moonshade family."
Her gaze was sharp.
"And we do not hand over our own."
At that moment, Ivira and Cornelia moved.
They stepped forward without hesitation.
They positioned themselves beside Faith and in front of Cain.
Their presence alone changed the atmosphere again.
Ivira crossed her arms.
Her eyes were cold.
"We won’t agree."
Cornelia stood calmly.
But her stance made it clear she would not move.
"Our husband..."
Ivira’s voice lowered.
"...belongs to us."
Cornelia nodded slightly.
"He is not yours to take."
The three sisters stood together.
Unyielding.
Behind them, Cain remained silent.
The princesses watched everything.
For a long moment, they said nothing.
Their expressions did not change.
The clearing felt still.
Too still.
Then—
Their mana erupted.
It burst out from their bodies all at once, filling the entire area with overwhelming pressure that pressed down on everyone present.
