Melody Thorne hailed a cab but didn’t head straight to Jared Quinn’s company; instead, she went to a Chinese restaurant and ordered some food.

After the last commotion, the receptionists and security didn’t dare to stop her anymore.

Melody Thorne looked inside. By the wide and luxurious floor-to-ceiling window, a tall, handsome man was standing. A half-smoked cigarette in his right hand, his tailored suit, and an indifferent and restrained aura made him the kind of man women could easily go crazy about.

Jared Quinn exhaled a puff of smoke and turned around, meeting Melody Thorne’s clear eyes.
