My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!-Chapter 473: Good Girl
"Hmm," the result was not surprising at all.
Titus Quinn had already started a full-scale war against him.
"Jared," Melody Thorne clasped his arm,
she was fully aware of just how insidious Titus Quinn was in the past life, so she was very worried, worried about what else Titus might do.
It seemed that he especially, particularly hated Jared Quinn, just like in the past life.
"What’s wrong?" Jared Quinn pinched her small nose, it was unclear when his icy tone became so gentle.
His magnetic, husky voice carried a hint of masculine allure.
Looking up, Melody Thorne’s clear eyes held his reflection so clearly, so brightly.
"I’m worried about you," her hands encircled his waist, her little head just reaching his shoulder gently nestled against his chest, enfolding herself completely in his embrace.
Her muffled voice was soft and tender...
Like a feather brushing across the tip of his icy heart, it was a little ticklish, making him want to listen more...
That feeling of relying on him made Jared Quinn’s body tense, making it abundantly clear that she was concerned for him.
"Good girl, there’s nothing you need to worry about."
He would resolve the issue with Titus Quinn as soon as possible; he had a son and a wife, and for their safety, it didn’t matter if he had to break his vows.
Time and again he realized how many little tricks Titus Quinn played behind his back, and each time he was eager to take his life, as long as he lived, Titus wouldn’t behave.
If he couldn’t take his life, imprisoning him was the best solution for now.
"Open it," Jared Quinn presented his hand in front of her.
Melody Thorne thought his hand needed re-bandaging, so she carefully started to unravel the layers of gauze with her fingers, revealing the wound inside little by little, in a palm larger than both of her hands there was a long scar, clamped by an elevator, compounded by an explosion, it looked somewhat tragic.
The thought of that scene made one shiver.
"Does it hurt?" Melody Thorne’s fingers rubbed the palm of his hand.
"Just a small wound," Jared Quinn replied nonchalantly, tossing the gauze she’d just removed into the trash can.
Dr. Mo had used only the best medicines for him, many of which were self-developed, so the wound healed quickly, in just a fraction of the time it would take for others.
Melody Thorne picked up a new piece of gauze from the side, ready to wrap it around him again.
"No need to wrap it," Jared Quinn moved his large hand, stretching a bit, his joints cracking audibly, already tired of the gauze wrapping "this small wound will heal soon."
"No way," Melody Thorne disagreed, it had only been a few days?
How could someone be so careless with their own body?
Jared Quinn’s dark eyes held a smile, his face deep and composed, yet his words were quite wicked, "Do you think I enjoy touching with gauze wrapped around?"
Melody Thorne "..."
She gaped at him with slightly parted lips, stunned by his mischievous gaze, feeling as if the sensation of being touched was layering over her skin again.
Melody Thorne’s body trembled slightly, the blush at the tips of her ears gradually spreading to her cheeks, feeling a bit hot, she looked away and calmly said, "If your hand ends up scarred, it would be worse than those bandages!"
Jared Quinn "... indeed."
"So wrap it up," Melody Thorne held the new gauze, ready to wrap it around his hand.
