My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!-Chapter 448: So Long?
Gradually, she drifted off to sleep.
The door to the study opened half an hour later, revealing the tall, commanding figure of Jared Quinn leaning against the doorway, his dark eyes reflecting two figures.
One big, one small, squatting on the floor asleep.
The reason was simply because they were waiting for him.
Jared Quinn’s dry and tasteless life was once again filled, filled by the big and small waiting for him.
"Young master," the butler whispered.
Jared Quinn’s gaze swept over, signaling him to keep his voice down, then pointed at Timmy.
The butler, understanding, walked over to pick up Timmy from the floor and returned him to the bedroom.
When he came out again, Jared Quinn had already picked up Melody Thorne from the floor, his still-recovering large hands now carefully holding her.
"Young master," the butler spoke in shock.
"Cut the crap," Jared Quinn sneered coldly.
If he didn’t hold his woman, was he to wait for someone else to take her away?
Melody Thorne’s body touched the soft, large bed. Even in her sleep, her dreams were filled with Jared Quinn.
She dreamed that Jared Quinn persistently refused to see her,
"Jared Quinn," Melody Thorne suddenly murmured, causing Jared’s body to stiffen sharply, lifting his head, his dark eyes fixed on the petite woman sleeping soundly without opening her eyes.
Her long lashes cast a distinct shadow on her delicate, porcelain-like face.
"Jared Quinn, let’s talk," Melody Thorne murmured in her sleep as she turned over.
She wore a dress, and with her movements, it almost failed to cover anything, revealing her fair skin and pink underwear...
The sight made Jared Quinn close his eyes hard, placing his hands on the sides of the bed, having not held her for days, and now with her lying on his bed, he could hardly control himself.
His kisses traveled from her calf upwards, his lips lightly nibbling, leaving a moist, tingly sensation.
Melody Thorne felt an itch, as if bugs crawled over her, but it was a light, pleasant feeling, so she didn’t bother to open her eyes...
In the morning, Melody Thorne awoke hugging the quilt, the scent of Jared Quinn filling her nostrils, pleasant, commanding, and masculine. But there was no sign of Jared Quinn in the room.
"Where did he go?" Leaving the bedroom, Melody Thorne looked visibly displeased.
She had waited all night but Jared Quinn never showed.
He was deliberately avoiding her.
"Well..." the butler hesitated, "The young master said he went on a business trip and might not return for a month, asking you to stay and take care of young master Timmy."
"A month? That long?" Melody Thorne bit her lip. It was clear he was hiding from her; he had gone abroad just to avoid her.
"No need, I have things to do."
"Madam... Madam..."
...
After leaving the Quinn house, Melody Thorne had just returned home when she ran into Hans Montrose. He had just arrived, bringing her lunch, and had been waiting at the door for quite some time.
Melody Thorne unlocked the door and tossed her keys onto the sofa in frustration, sinking into a seat. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
"Where did you go?" Hans Montrose opened the lunch box, revealing three dishes and a soup, all her favorites.
"I went to find Jared Quinn. I wanted to talk to him, but he wouldn’t see me," Melody Thorne said, growing angrier as she thought about it, her fork stabbing into the rice with force.
