But first, I will find and collect all the treasures. He says this, rubbing his hand with an evil smile.

Kent looks around, and his surroundings are filled with foggy air. He can see tall mountains very far away. He murmurs, "I didn’t expect this place to be this big. It’s at least HUNDREDS of times larger than the Graveyard Mountains."

Ding!

!!!!!

Kent felt someone’s spiritual energy and some movement. He moves his head up, and he sees something flying at him.

Wait… wait…. I just got here. Who is attacking me? The object is coming at him with speed. A dagger?

Kent steps back, dodging the dagger. The dagger landed near his foot.

THWACK!

He sees from the uphill that a skinny human-like figure jumps down. The human shape comes closer to him. At first, he couldn’t see clearly because of the fog. When it came close, he saw a monster just like a human.

Jump!

Closer!

Its body is covered with light black energy. Something in between grey and black. Its face looks like an undead monster.

Kent says to the system from now on to use Appraisal Skill on everything that costs below ten thousand SP. Please inform me as soon as I find someone good or someone close by.

Ding!

Many Ghoul monsters were detected.

Cultivation: Level-F

Description: low-level soldier of ancient times. After absorbing spiritual energy, soldiers’ dead bodies became Ghoul monsters.

So this ugly-looking thing is a ghoul. The system said many Ghouls. But I can only see one. Where’s the rest of them?

!?

Crack!

!?

Suddenly, the ground started to form a circle, and small hill rocks were cracking. From beneath the ground, many Ghouls started to come up. The hill breaks, creating a zigzag hole; from there, many more Ghouls come in front of Kent.

GHRL!

GHRL!

GHRL!

GHRL!

The Ghoul monsters surround Kent. They changed at him together.

What the fuck! Kent picks the rusty dagger from the ground. He yelled gey the fuck away from me, you ugly Ghouls. I came here to find treasures.

He swings the dagger 360 degrees, and He says I am much more potent than you all. You are not even a warm-up for me. You dare to attack me. I was having a good time thinking about finding many treasures and becoming rich.

He cut down all of them without any effort. I didn’t even need to use any spiritual energy to defeat you guys. My physical strength is enough for you low-level mobs.

Shake!

Shake!

From the ground, many more Ghouls pop out. Ohh! You stupid things want me to play whack-a-mole game with you. Fine, I will play with you all.

Kent breaks a part of the small mountain with his hands. He puts the dagger on his back, tucked inside so it won’t fall down.

Then, he shaped the rock into a hammer with his hands. The rock breaks like clay on his hand.

After that, Kent says. You mob monsters are very mindless. I didn’t get any SP from you guys. So I don’t have to play with you to collect some sp. I will just kill you all and look for treasures.

THWACK!

THWACK!

Kent starts popping the Ghoul’s head one after another. Those Ghouls are F- level. I saw many students who hadn’t even awakened yet. They came for an awakening.

If those students face this monster, they will die. They can’t even respond quickly enough to these Ghouls’ attacks. If I find those unawakened students, I should help them if they give me money.

Nothing is free in this world. These students are wealthy. They should all give me their money so that I can save them all.

Ha! Ha! Ha!

He laughs, kicking a Ghoul’s head. Then Kent grinned as he stood amidst the pile of defeated ghouls, holding his newly crafted rock hammer.

The misty air was heavy with the smell of damp earth and the faintly rotting stench of the ghouls. He wiped his brow dramatically despite not even breaking a sweat.

"Alright, system, no more of these low-level scrubs," he muttered, twirling the hammer in his hand. "Where’s the treasure? Where’s the challenge? Give me something worth my time!"

Ding!

System Notification:

"Host has defeated 27 Ghoul Monsters. No SP was awarded. These Ghouls-type Monsters don’t have any intelligence."

Kent sighed. "Yeah, I noticed. It’s like fighting angry, oversized rats. Come on, don’t tell me what I already know. Give me some new information."

With a shrug, Kent kicked another ghoul’s body aside, watching it crumble into ash. He strolled through the ruins, his oversized hammer resting on his shoulder like a great weapon of legend—well, at least in his mind.

The foggy landscape stretched endlessly before him, broken only by jagged rocks and crumbling remnants of ancient structures. It was eerie, yet oddly peaceful.

"Alright, if I were treasure, where would I hide?" Kent mused, scanning his surroundings.

As if in answer, the ground beneath his feet gave a subtle tremble.

RUMBLE!

CRACK!

"What now?" Kent groaned, steadying himself as the ground split open a few feet away. From the fissure emerged a fresh batch of ghouls, their grotesque faces snarling in unison.

GHRL! GHRL!

Kent sighed, tightening his grip on his hammer. "Oh, come on! I just cleared this area! Are you guys on a respawn timer or something?"

He swung the hammer in a wide arc, sending the first wave of ghouls flying like bowling pins.

THWACK!

SPLAT!

"I told you guys already," Kent muttered, smashing another ghoul into the ground. "I’m here for treasure, not babysitting a graveyard!"

He spun on his heel, delivering a powerful overhead strike to a particularly ugly ghoul.

CRUNCH!

"Oof, that one was uglier than Ryan’s angry face during an arm-wrestling match," Kent joked, chuckling to himself.

After flattening yet another wave of ghouls, Kent leaned against his hammer, surveying the aftermath. The ground was littered with ash, and the monsters dropped the occasional rusty weapon.

"Alright, system," he said, catching his breath. "If I’m gonna keep getting swarmed like this, you better make it worth my while. How about some loot?"

Ding!

System Notification:

"Low-tier weapons detected. The host can collect it for architect skills."

Kent picked up a jagged sword from the pile, its blade chipped and dull. "This? This is your idea of treasure? System, even a blindfolded monkey with a butter knife could make a better weapon than this!"

Shaking his head, Kent tossed the sword into storage and continued exploring. He soon stumbled upon a dilapidated stone structure, its entrance partially collapsed. A faint glow emanated from within.

"Finally, something interesting!" Kent said, his eyes lighting up. He pushed aside the rubble blocking the doorway and stepped inside.
