My Seven Wives in One Body and Me, her Manager-Chapter 67: Watching My Wife Training
After returning to class, Dennis sat quietly in his seat. He glanced at Jason and Kimberly, who were sitting in front and had come back into the classroom with him; both looked relieved because Blake had promised to help using his connections and, of course, through legal channels rather than the back door. Additionally, Olivia intended to help them by using her father’s law firm. Dennis felt a bit more at ease, but his heart was still thumping pretty fast from the thrill of what he’d just done secretly with Daisy number four in the archive room where there were no security cameras.
Suddenly, "growl," his stomach made a loud noise, and he clutched his belly. Because he had been so busy with Daisy in the archives, their student council meeting—which was supposed to be short so they could eat—had ended up consuming their entire break.
"Ugh... it really was a bad idea to do that at school... but for some reason, my heart is still racing and I actually felt good doing it... oh no, don’t tell me I’m starting to develop some weird fetish because of what just happened... never again, man," Dennis muttered in his heart while looking down at his stomach.
Once Mason came in and started his lesson, Dennis, whose stomach was empty, felt sleepy listening to Mason’s explanation at the front of the class, but suddenly,
[Are you hungry, master?]
"Yeah, I’m starving... why?" Dennis asked in his head.
[Hmm... perhaps next time it would be better to spend your time eating rather than being intimate with your wife; you can do that at home.]
"Grrr... why are you even minding my business regarding my intimacy, anyway? Did you watch?" Dennis asked.
[Of course, master. I saw it very clearly.]
"Aaah... whatever, don’t bring it up again. Is my wife at the gym?" Dennis asked.
[Yes, master, and they want you to watch them.]
Suddenly, an interface screen appeared in front of Dennis, showing Daisy, Gary, and Olivia standing on the mezzanine. They were watching a training simulation of their classmates and the 12th-grade seniors fighting the same enemies he had faced yesterday: one Blob Mantis and two Tusk Crawlers.
"Hmm... so it’s the same for them, too. Since they’re the school’s core team, they’re watching from the mezzanine and will be asked to show off after this," Dennis muttered in his head.
[It would seem so, master.]
"Can you show the training footage?" Dennis asked.
[Of course I can, master.]
The view zoomed in on the screen at the mezzanine to show how the simulation was playing out. Dennis could see many of Daisy’s classmates getting killed by the Tusk Crawlers, while the seniors were being taken out by the Blob Mantis. Those who managed to survive were the ones who had forms different from humans—or appeared human but were much taller and stronger. In other words, only those who had already undergone an awakening were left standing.
About 20 minutes later, the footage showed the remaining 11th and 12th graders finally managing to defeat the enemy with great difficulty. After the footage stopped, Steve’s voice could be heard asking Gary, Olivia, and Daisy to come down and demonstrate their abilities. Dennis could see his wife and her two friends descending from the mezzanine toward the center of the field. Once all the other students had moved up, the simulation began.
Daisy, Gary, and Olivia got into their stances. They were now in a ruined, dark city, lit only by stars with black snowflakes falling from above, vanishing before they hit the ground. Ahead of them, a Blob Mantis and two Tusk Crawlers appeared, charging forward to attack. Naturally, Gary raised his sword and lunged in, parrying the Tusk Crawlers’ shots aimed at him, but suddenly, the two Tusk Crawlers dropped dead instantly. Dennis slapped his forehead because he saw Daisy shift into Daisy number three, killing both Tusk Crawlers with her invisible shots.
"Good grief, she’s cheating," Dennis muttered in his head.
[You also cheat, master. You two are a perfect match.]
"Hah... what do you mean by that?" Dennis asked, confused by Sami’s remark and not expecting it at all.
[You can level up. In a few more levels, you will be able to defeat the three enemies on the screen with a single blow, master.]
"Hmm... you’ve got a point, but it’s different from Daisy, whose other six personalities are terrifying," Dennis said in his head.
[The same goes for you, master; one day you will reach their level once your own level is high enough.]
"Huh... yeah, I know. Whatever, let’s just keep watching," Dennis said.
[Very well, master.]
When he looked back at the footage, Dennis could see the confused faces of Gary and Olivia as they attacked the Blob Mantis, because the two Tusk Crawlers next to it had died for no apparent reason. Daisy appeared to attack using her katana; she swung her blade horizontally, slashing the Blob Mantis across its eyes.
Meanwhile, Olivia used magic that sprouted tree roots, binding both of the Blob Mantis’s scythe-like arms so it couldn’t move. Gary leaped and immediately split the body of the blinded and shackled Blob Mantis in two—its eyes were blind and its legs were also trapped by the earth rising up, which was obviously Olivia’s doing as well.
After the Blob Mantis’s body was split perfectly from top to bottom, falling to the left and right, Gary and Olivia immediately high-fived Daisy. They seemed to be asking Daisy about the two Tusk Crawlers that had died so suddenly; of course, Daisy just shrugged her shoulders, clearly acting like she knew nothing about it, though her voice couldn’t be heard since the interface display didn’t provide any audio. Their simulation run time was five minutes before finishing, and it seemed they had been given the same amount of time as Dennis, Jason, and Kimberly yesterday.
Dennis just shook his head slowly while watching the footage, but suddenly, "vwooong," an interface popped open right in front of his face. He flinched, causing his desk to make a loud noise that made Mason turn to look at him.
"Is there a problem, Dennis?" Mason asked.
"No... nothing’s wrong, sir," Dennis answered, stammering.
"Fine, let’s continue," Mason replied, looking back at the front of the room.
After Mason resumed his lesson, Dennis let out a sigh of relief. He then began to read the text on the interface that had appeared, which turned out to be his status screen.
[EXP Point Gained: 135,000 points.]

"Huh... I leveled up? How is that possible?" Dennis asked in his head, confused.
[Of course it is, master. Your wife killed two Tusk Crawlers and the Exp points went to you. Do you understand now, master? You are also cheating.]
"You seem to really enjoy judging me, and it feels like you’re taking my wife’s side, aren’t you?" Dennis asked Sami in his head.
[That is correct, master. We are both women.]
"Haaah... give me a break. You’re supposed to be my assistant, right?" Dennis said.
[It’s the same thing, master. You and your wife are one. I am happy to serve you both.]
"Okay, thanks Sami," Dennis replied in his head, feeling too lazy to argue anymore.
[You are very welcome, master.]
Dennis went silent, just staring at his status interface and seeing his level go up, even if it was just by one. Then he looked at the interface footage showing Daisy, Gary, and Olivia being cheered on by their classmates and the 12th-grade seniors up on the mezzanine. Naturally, Steve approached them, asked everyone to line up, and told Gary to head back to class.
Just like he, Jason, and Kimberly had experienced, he saw Gary, Olivia, and Daisy look stunned as all their classmates and the seniors followed Steve into the briefing room. Afterward, they were seen leaving the gym, looking relaxed as they headed to the cafeteria to take a break. Suddenly, a noisy sound echoed in Dennis’s head. Of course, Daisy was trying to reach him using telepathy, and Dennis immediately picked up.
"Honey, I’m finished! I’m in the cafeteria with Gary and Olivia," Daisy number one said in his head.
"Yeah, I saw the footage," Dennis said.
"Oh, you saw it? Wow, that makes me so happy! How was I, honey?" Daisy asked cheerfully.
"You were amazing, really amazing. I’m proud of you. But aren’t you tired... we did just... well, you know," Dennis answered.
"Not at all! Thanks, honey, I’m glad you’re proud of me. How about next time we try somewhere else? My heart is still racing, hehe," Daisy said, even more cheerful than before.
"Don’t get any wild ideas. Just go eat. You’re hungry, right? We didn’t get any lunch, after all," Dennis replied.
"Oh, that’s true. I’m starving! Alright then, I’m going to eat now. See you later," Daisy replied.
"Yeah, see you after school," Dennis replied. "Whew, she’s amazing... of course she’s amazing... whatever, no use worrying about the cheating thing... I’m a cheater too. And please, no more crazy stuff; I don’t want to awaken some weird fetish inside me," Dennis muttered in his heart as he turned off his interface.
