Chapter 2002: Chapter 2002: Auction

"I want to sell these items." Her quiet voice delivered words of determination.

The manager picked up those items carefully and studied them for a long time, a look of ecstasy appearing on his face. As a professional manager, he had seen many treasures, and he could instantly recognize the tremendous value of these items. He immediately beamed with joy.

His heart was very excited. These were limited edition jewelry and models, collector-level treasures that had been appreciating in value since the moment they were sold by the company that produced them. By now, their worth had at least doubled. Even purchasing them at their original prices and reselling them at an auction would be a full profit.

Moreover, looking at the young girl in front of him, she didn’t seem to understand the immense value of these items, otherwise she wouldn’t have sold so many at once for money. Just one piece would be enough to provide a comfortable life for half a lifetime.

"Miss Jun, please quote a price." He tried hard to contain his joy, pretending to be indifferent, "Although these items have decent designs, the craftsmanship and materials are not top-notch, nothing extraordinary, but since you’re in such difficulty, I could offer you a market price."

The manager provided a lengthy critique, essentially striving to undervalue them and saying the items were of average worth.

"Oh, is that so?" Jun Yiyi chuckled. This cunning manager threw around a pile of professional terms, making it sound so logical, but a naive girl ignorant of the market would surely be deceived by him.

But who was she? She used to be the wealthy daughter who had seen all sorts of treasures. Besides, who was He Lian Ling Kong; would he give her anything substandard?

She knew any one of those items was worth a fortune, and she didn’t actually need to sell so many.

But she didn’t want to keep even one of them.

These were not things that belonged to her!

"One million, I only want one million!" she said.

The manager across from her was almost stunned by the number, looking at her in disbelief, thinking he had misheard, nearly unable to contain the ecstasy in his heart. Fool, this was definitely a foolish woman.

To ask for just one million, these items were worth at least a hundred times more, truly a woman who didn’t recognize value, really feeling sorry for the man who gave them to her.

"Ahem, for this value, I need to consider it." The manager feigned a very conflicted and troubled expression, while his hands were already quickly preparing the contract.

Jun Yiyi found it amusing but didn’t expose his charade.

She knew the value of those items, but this time, her greedy self didn’t want to use them for a huge profit, which would sully their true worth; so she just asked for enough money to protect herself and that was all.

She picked up the contract, signed it without looking, and then the manager finally dared to openly reveal his ecstatic expression, eagerly and enthusiastically having the money transferred to her account immediately.

"Transaction complete, remember I am an anonymous seller; you cannot disclose my identity, and the items must not be sold before three months!"

After Jun Yiyi said that, she left the building.

The manager was delighted to have these items carefully sent back to the headquarters, and the company’s boss, upon seeing these treasures, also brightened his eyes and couldn’t hide his joy.

"You did an excellent job, managing to acquire these collectible treasures at such a low price. There’s an upscale charity banquet these days, attended by distinguished figures, perfect to send these treasures for auction."

The manager was taken aback: "But I promised the lady these items can only be auctioned after three months."
