My Perfect Revenge: Flash Marriage With My Vampire Tycoon-Chapter 126: – I Am Yours –
"Yes."
Viviana held a pondering look. She met his eyes, slowly shaking her head. "I... I don’t know. I don’t really... know what I want.
Nikolas caressed where he’d pulled up her shirt a bit, exposing her belly. "Why don’t you think about it, and let me know whenever you’ve made up your mind?"
She nodded at him. "No matter how long it takes?"
"No matter how long it takes." He took the hand she had in his hair, weaving his fingers through hers before proceeding to kiss the dorsal. "Take your time."
Their silence was a comfortable kind, but it was, however, interrupted, not ten minutes when Viviana’s phone began pinging with continuous messages.
Viviana furrowed her brows, picking up the phone. Her face twisted in annoyance upon seeing the messages popping.
UNKNOWN NUMBER: I’m sorry, Viviana. I know I shouldn’t have said what I said. But I was angry. You’re treating me like this without giving me a chance to explain myself, without giving me a chance to make it up to you.
UNKNOWN NUMBER: Please. Won’t you give me a chance? Let us talk properly. What do you think?
UNKNOWN NUMBER: I miss you. And I want to see you. Just once is more than enough.
UNKNOWN NUMBER: Viviana? Answer my messages at least.
UNKNOWN NUMBER: Is it fun for you? Ignoring me like this, pretending that I don’t exist? Torturing me like this, does it make you happy?
UNKNOWN NUMBER: I don’t believe you don’t love me anymore. Not a woman like you. You don’t trust anyone, but you trusted me enough to love me. You can’t just unlove me like this. Things happened in Chicago and if you’ll give me the chance, I can explain to you.
UNKNOWN NUMBER: Know what? Fuck you, Viviana.
UNKNOWN NUMBER: WHY? Why are you doing this to me?
UNKNOWN NUMBER: That man, is he better than me? Why won’t you leave him? Why won’t you choose me again? I can make it up to you. All the times I’ve hurt you. Viviana, please. Just say something to me, even if it’s a single word.
Viviana let out a soft sigh, tossing the phone on the bed to go back to reviewing the document she held.
Nikolas picked up the device. His brow cocked, and the more he read the nonstop messages, the more his eyes shone with a thick light, darkening.
And as if Viviana could feel his jealousy filling the room, she ruffled his hair, holding a soft smile. "Ignore him. He means nothing to me."
"I can get rid of him."
He met her gaze with sharp eyes.
She lifted her brows at him. But then he laughed. "What?"
"I said I can get rid of him. He’s getting on my nerves."
She chuckled. "You are very dangerous." A soft breath fled her nose. "Don’t bother about him. I’ll get a new number soon." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
But that didn’t feel like enough for him. He warned Emilio, but he wouldn’t leave her alone. "Did you really love him?"
"Nikolas—"
"Did you?"
"I did. He was the first man I ever loved." She bit down on her lips.
At once, she felt his grip on her tightened, but he no longer met her eyes gaze turned away.
"Nikolas?"
No answer.
"Oh, don’t be like this. It was like two years ago."
"If he hadn’t done what he did, you’d choose him over me, wouldn’t you?" he asked.
"No." Viviana shook her head. "I don’t think so."
"You don’t...think?"
"Nikolas, Emilio was the first man I loved, but he wasn’t the first man that I truly loved. It’s quite hard to explain. And maybe that’s why I am not mad about what he did. I’ve realised that maybe I didn’t truly love him. And I perhaps just stuck to him because he was the only hand reaching out to me then. He was like salvation back then, well, I thought he was. Until he abandoned me. I wasn’t angry that the man I thought I loved left me, but that the only way to be free, the salvation I desperately sought after, had just slipped off my finger before I could even grab it."
Nikolas didn’t say a word. Instead, he rose to his knees. And in confusion, Viviana watched him crawl closer until he was completely above her gaze boring down at her.
She swallowed. "Nikolas...?"
His finger reached down to curl into her hair, palm cupping the back of her head.
"Nikolas, you—"
His mouth seized hers, hard and demanding. He kissed her roughly, deep, irritation rising up his spine. His grip locked her jaw, holding her still as his tongue forced its way in, leaving no space for her to breath.
"Nikolas—"
It wasn’t a gentle kiss. It wasn’t slow. It was pure jealousy brewing from him, pouring into her mouth with every push of his lips. His breath was heavy, his control hanging by a thread. He kissed her like it’d be enough to kill the memory of anyone else inside of her.
She squirmed beneath him, unable to move her hands that he hand pinned to the bed. She gasped against his mouth, but he didn’t let go. No, he swallowed the sound, further deepening the kiss.
The second he gave her space to breathe, she inhaled, chest rising and falling in heavy breathing.
"You’ve gone mad! I told you I don’t love him. Don’t you listen?" Viviana glared at him, touching her lips that had become swollen.
He wasn’t saying a word. Just above her and staring down at her with eyes that had lost its usual sparkle.
She locked eyes with him, wanting to free her hands and touch him but he wouldn’t let her. Instead, he leaned in, pressing his forehead against hers as he mouthed, "If I could go back in time, I’d smoke him out. Not a fragment of him would be found."
Her lashes rapidly flickered.
She scoffed, "I knew it. You’re one of those types. Jealous, possessive."
"So?"
He frowned.
"Is it such a bad thing that I’m possessive of you? That I refuse the idea of another occupying your mind?"
She narrowed her eyes at him. "Let go of my hands."
His gaze bored down at her.
"Nikolas." Her tone grew hard.
He let go, pulling back to be on his knees. Viviana rubbed her wrist as she pushed up into a sitting position. She had something to say, he knew, but what he didn’t expect was her grabbing the collar of his dress shirt, yanking him so suddenly, he barely had the chance to register a thing before he felt her lips crash against his.
She kissed him like she was returning the favor. Her hands tangled in his hair, fingers gripping and pulling intentionally hard, refusing to let him control the rhythm.
He hissed at the stinging ache, but she didn’t give him a chance to digest it, her teeth biting down into his lips. "You. Are. Mine, Nikolas."
He blinked at her. "You—"
"Do you think you’re the only one who can be like this? When something is mine, they are solely mine. And I told you, you belonged to me. What does that tell you, Nikolas?"
His lips quirked up into a grin. "I am yours."
"...Yours only."
"Exactly."
