Chapter 1104: Chapter 1104: Hero, Please Accept My Bow

Ye Fan was on guard against the mighty group charging towards him.

This group wasn’t from Sky Net; they were General Sendor’s people, whom the Hunting Team Nine wanted to assimilate.

General Sendor was the largest faction leader in the nearby regions, with many weapons and strong forces under his command.

General Sendor was in the vehicle at the front, followed by a large number of armed personnel, full of vigor and spirit.

Shouts, the roar of vehicles, and the noise mingled together, creating quite a chaotic scene.

"General, we’re charging forward in great numbers; won’t we scare Ye Fan?"

"If we frighten him to pieces, it’ll be quite a sight."

"Ah ha ha, ah ha ha!"

"General, you said Ye Fan is a hero and specially came out to welcome him. This scene looks frightening, but it doesn’t seem like a welcome for a hero."

"Our current line-up is not exaggeratedly described as overwhelming, General, are you sure you want to welcome the hero this way? If we scare the hero to death, it’ll be a damn mess."

Jokes and laughter rose and fell, mingling to create a lively atmosphere, but also quite imposing.

Their mouths were unrestrained, speaking freely, each as fierce as a pack of wolf cubs.

"Stop your nonsense; when it’s time to restrain yourselves, do so. I don’t care how wild you are usually, but now, be honest. If I lose face in front of the hero, I’ll deal with you." General Sendor stood up, his voice not loud but profound, spreading like a thunderous roar.

When these words spread out, the noisy crowd finally quieted down, leaving only the sound of vehicles and the sight of dust in the air.

"General, isn’t what we’re doing a bit too much? If Ye Fan misunderstands and acts against us, it’ll be a disaster, right?" Sendor’s deputy said, "General, look, Ye Fan’s vehicle has stopped. Is it really okay for us to charge forward like this?"

"Stop, damn it, everyone stop here, and wait." Sendor roared, and all the vehicles orderly slowed down and then stopped uniformly. No one dared to defy Sendor’s orders; they executed them strictly.

"Who told you to stop? Drive forward, slowly approach. Didn’t see my hero right in front? Who told you to stop?" Sendor pointed at his driver and scolded.

"General, wasn’t it you who ordered all the cars to stop?" The driver explained, feeling wronged.

"When I said everyone, I meant everyone except you. Was there water in your brain? You can’t even have this much reaction ability, how can you be my driver, no sense at all." General Sendor scolded his driver with spittle flying.

"General, your command wasn’t clear; it’s not the driver’s fault." The deputy turned his face away, speaking with a mix of tears and laughter.

The armed personnel in the other vehicles laughed unrestrictedly.

"Am I wrong?" General Sendor glared at the deputy and yelled.

"No, General is right." The deputy quickly agreed, not daring to face Sendor, afraid of getting spittle all over.

"Do you think I’m wrong?" General Sendor looked at the driver, speaking fiercely.

"General is right; it’s my ears that have a problem." The driver laughed dryly, feeling quite upset while wiping his face of spittle.

"At least you have some sense." General Sendor finally burst into laughter.

Soon, the driver drove the car to deliver General Sendor in front of Ye Fan.

Before the car even stopped, General Sendor leaped out and rushed toward Ye Fan’s location.

The deputy and the others hurriedly followed, each one smiling bitterly.

"Hero, you must be Hero Ye Fan. I’ve seen you, no, to be precise, I’ve seen your photo." General Sendor said boldly, "Hero, I pay my respects to you!"

As he spoke, General Sendor clasped his hands and bowed. His weathered face was covered with stubble, but his expression and tone were revealing a rugged demeanor.

"Who are you?" Ye Fan asked, composed, without showing any other expression.

Witnessing General Sendor’s grand procession, and then seeing General Sendor himself with a few people approach, although he didn’t understand Sendor’s identity and origins, it seemed there was no malice. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Understanding this, Ye Fan didn’t take it to heart.

"Hero, you may not know me, but I know you." General Sendor said excitedly, "The news of you slaying the Thirteenth Elder and annihilating the Hunting Team Nine has spread throughout the Underworld. Such earth-shattering deeds, probably only you could accomplish. In the current turbulent Underworld, having someone like you emerge from the chaos is like a fresh stream in a muddy world, thrilling and stirring the blood!"

Ye Fan had accomplished many shocking feats in the Underworld recently.

Among them, his confrontation with Sky Net, slaying the Thirteenth Elder and annihilating the Hunting Team Nine was undoubtedly the most shocking news.

As a local hero, Sendor naturally had exposure to these stories.

Especially as someone who had clashed several times with New Hunting Team Nine while resisting Sky Net, Sendor had great admiration for Ye Fan.

So, with that admiration, Sendor had made elaborate efforts to come and welcome Ye Fan.

Ye Fan had understood the broad picture; although he didn’t know Sendor’s background, he could figure out that his spectacular appearance had a reason.

Looking at the people around Sendor, and the vast number of armed personnel behind him, Ye Fan felt awkward. He couldn’t understand whether bringing so many people was out of fear or showing force.

"Who are you? Do we know each other?" Ye Fan wasn’t bothered by Sendor’s evasive answer and asked again.

"Sorry, I got so excited meeting the hero that I forgot to introduce myself." Sendor chuckled, a bit embarrassed, and then said loudly, "I’m Sendor, the biggest around here; first time meeting, I hope Hero Ye will guide me."

He then seemed to recall something and added, "Hero Ye, although we don’t know each other, soon we will. Now I know you, and soon you’ll know me."

Ye Fan felt like he was being pestered.

He replied calmly, "Just call me Ye Fan, this ’Hero Ye’ title sounds quite awful."

"Awful?" Sendor asked doubtfully and asserted, "I think it sounds inspiring, stirring the blood, a name that’s both refined and bold, how could it sound awful?"

"What do you all think, doesn’t ’Hero Ye’ sound awful?" Sendor said as he turned to glare at the deputies behind him.

"Not awful."

"It’s the most imposing title."

"It’s the most elegant honorific."

"There’s no better title than Hero Ye."

The deputies didn’t dare say anything negative about Sendor’s words and could only flatter him.
