My Parasite System: Conquering and Claiming 200 Women.-Chapter 23: Seed of Envy
Chapter 23 - Seed of Envy
"Oh heavenly sage, he is safe," Everett whispered, her voice trembling with relief. (Yandere 1: The Overly Attached)
'Yes, exactly what the heck was he thinking?' (Yandere 2: The Critic)
Everett's eyes narrowed, as she glanced over to Orion. 'Indeed, our man is safe,' she sighed. (Yandere 3: The Detached)
'I know right, this little kid thinks he is some kind of a hero.' (Yandere 4: The Sarcastic Charmer)
'The good thing is that he is safe, our mate is safe,' she growled Everett (Yandere 5: The Possessive Protector)
Orion, who was surprised, only grunted as he tried to stand but the situation with his body didn't let him get up.
'Everett? How is that possible?' Orion said before he blacked out.

Elowen bit down on the scream rising in her throat, her nails digging into her palms as she watched Mira sink onto the couch with a weary sigh, her arms crossed tightly over her chest.
Elowen shot her an accusatory glare.
"Are you happy now? Orion still thinks you're at the grocery store."
"Aunt... I was angry. I didn't know he would follow me," Mira muttered, frustration lacing her tone. "I just needed to be alone for a while."
Elowen studied her for a long moment before her voice softened. "And why is that? Did Orion do something to you? You can tell me anything, you know."
Mira hesitated but allowed Elowen to pull her into a gentle embrace. She closed her eyes, hoping for just a second of peace. But instead, memories she desperately wanted to bury clawed their way to the surface.
Flashback
"Please, fill my womb with your seed. I'm protected," a breathy, desperate voice whispered.
Mira froze in her tracks.
"Alice?"
A cold knot formed in her stomach as she cautiously stepped closer to the slightly ajar door.
"It's getting bigger," Alice's breathless moan followed.
Mira's breath hitched.
'What the hell...?'
Her trembling fingers hovered over the doorknob. Her head told her to turn away, to pretend she hadn't heard anything.
"You are biting me too... deep," she heard Alice's voice again.
But curiosity burned inside her.
She nudged the door open just a little... too wide, too fast.
The sight before her sent her world spiraling.
Orion.
On top of Alice.
Alice's moans filled the room, the dim lighting casting shadows over their tangled bodies.
Mira's vision blurred, her chest tightening so painfully it felt like she was suffocating, why?
She slapped a hand over her mouth to stifle a gasp, but it was too late.
Both Orion and Alice snapped their heads toward her.
"Mira?" Orion's voice was hoarse, disbelieving.
She couldn't speak. Couldn't move.
Alice only smirked.
Flashback Ends
Mira's fists clenched in her lap.
"Why?"
Why did it bother her this much? Why did it feel like something inside her had shattered?
'I swear, I was jealous. How did they get so close, to the point of sleeping together?'
She swallowed hard as her thoughts went wild, forcing down the bitter ache in her throat.
'Orion should have been mine. Mine alone.'
Elowen's gentle hands pulled her back to reality, breaking the embrace. She cupped Mira's face, searching her eyes.
"If you need anything, let me know," she said softly. "But right now, I just hope Orion is safe. We need to search for him."

Mira nodded distractedly. "We could just report him missing..."
"No!" Elowen's sharp tone made Mira flinch.
A shadow crossed her aunt's face, her hands trembling slightly as she pushed off the couch. She walked to the kitchen, yanked open the fridge, and grabbed a bottle of water.
Mira's unease deepened as she watched Elowen gulp it down in one go, her grip on the plastic tight enough to leave dents.
'Why does she look so... afraid?'
Mira slowly stood up, her gaze locked onto Elowen's tense posture.
"Aunt, what do you mean? If Orion's missing, shouldn't we tell the authorities?"
Elowen exhaled shakily, her fingers tightening around the counter's edge.
"Mira... there are things you don't understand," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "If the wrong people find out Orion is missing, he'll be in even greater danger."
Mira's stomach twisted. "The wrong people? What are you talking about?"
Elowen turned, her expression grim.
"Just trust me. Reporting him isn't an option. We have to find him ourselves or simply he will come back to us like before."
Mira's breath caught.
'What does Aunt Elowen know that she isn't telling us?'
Before she could press further, the doorbell rang, shattering the heavy silence.
Elowen exhaled and ran a hand through her hair. "Get the door, Mira. I hope it's Orion, and just forget whatever I said."
Swallowing the nervous lump in her throat, Mira walked over and pulled the door open...
Only to come face-to-face with someone she never wanted to see again.
'Alice!' She screamed madly mentally, as her entire body tensed.
"Hey, Mira," Alice greeted smoothly, her smile calm. Too calm. "Is Orion here?"
Mira's expression darkened instantly. "He isn't." Her voice was as cold as ice. "And why do you need to see him anyway?"
Alice's lips curled into a small, knowing smile.
"About what you saw..." she said, tilting her head slightly. "Can we keep it between us for now? Let's talk first before Orion gets back."
Mira's heart pounded.
Her nails dug into her palms as she glared at Alice, already knowing... whatever she had to say, it wasn't going to be good.
Got it! Here's your edited line with single quotes:
'Of all the girls in the world, I can't believe he slept with you,' Mira thought as she glared at Alice, yet welcomed her with a smile.
The air was tense,Elowen sensed the tension and approached the girls, offering Alice a warm smile before placing a polite kiss on her cheek.
"How are you, Alice?" she asked.
"I'm fine, Miss Elowen. My mum sends her regards," Alice replied with a bright smile.
"That's lovely," Elowen said with a nod. Then, turning to Mira, her expression hardened. "I'll leave you two for a bit. But don't do anything foolish."
She shot Mira a pointed look before walking away.
As Elowen disappeared upstairs to her room, Alice turned to Mira with a smirk, her confidence unwavering.
"Now, about what you saw last night," Alice began, her tone cool and unbothered. "It's between Orion and me. We're in a relationship, so it's normal."
Mira's eyes narrowed.
'Lies.'
"Since when?" she scoffed, folding her arms. "I thought you hated him. I can't believe you're actually saying this." Her voice dripped with disbelief as she studied Alice's expression.
Alice's smirk didn't falter. "You wouldn't understand," she said dismissively. "Now that I've said what's on my mind, I'll be going."
Mira let out a sharp laugh, tilting her head. "Does your brother know his enemy is screwing his sister? What a whore."
Alice's smirk vanished. Her eyes darkened with fury. "You...!"
Mira leaned in, her lips curling into a wicked grin. "I wonder... What will Orion do when he finds out his first love is the sister of his worst bully?"
Her eyes gleamed with a mix of cruel amusement and jealousy.
"Hah. Funny, isn't it? I can't wait to see how that turns out."
She let the words sink in before throwing in a slow, taunting wink.
Alice's fists clenched at her sides, her confident smirk faltering. Mira chuckled, savoring the moment as she watched the cracks finally form in Alice's composure.
