My OP Minion System in the Apocalypse-Chapter 141 Progression And Growth Are Necessary
I was sitting on my couch, having a rest when my Minion Manager approached me. I guess it was that time of the day again.

I still had nothing major I wanted to use my resources on. Since I was pretty busy with the whole getting-stronger-to-defeat-vampires situation, I couldn't really do any major 'kingdom building'. I was hoping that I'd be able to leave the elf city if the vampires were ever defeated so I could build my own.
In terms of building my own kingdom, I would have to organise my Minions differently and try to set up some sort of functional society. I'm still unsure of how exactly I'd do this, but it shouldn't be too much trouble as long as I keep a decently-sized army for the time being.
The vampires were a constant annoyance to me. Their existence basically forced me within these walls. Despite the fact that the situation here was pretty comfortable, I'd still like to break through to the top of the leaderboard. These dreams that I've been having the last few days have made me quite curious.
I had lots of questions.
Who made the systems?
Why was everyone transported here?
Is there a higher being who is controlling all of this?
Who is the person talking to me in my dreams?
I had no answers.
There seemed to be some sort of order to everything, but I appeared to be still quite distant from the truth.
Oh well, I guess I'll focus on what I was doing.
I opened my Shadow Hunter System.

[Shadow Reality]
<Experience> 2887/1250 (READY)

My experience gain was as steady as usual. I'd like to go out and slay some more vampires in the coming days, it seemed that it was the best way to gain experience, although my Minions were doing a decent job.

The next reward was just a simple upgrade to one of my abilities. It was nothing special so I quickly moved on to the next.

This was much more interesting.
Despite the fact that it was an upgrade, it didn't have its usual naming scheme of a '+' being added to the end of the name. I received some sort of notification informing me of its new abilities.
[Clairvoyance is the upgraded form of Movement Clairvoyance. Instead of only being able to detect slight movements, you are able to use this ability to see the entire situation in advance. Like before, the visions are absolute, so there is no way to change them.]
At first, this ability seemed to be pretty useless. Seeing visions without being able to change them doesn't seem to provide any benefits. In combat, the ability was practically useless. Aside from predicting the outcome, there didn't seem to be anything else I could do. However, if the visions show my victory, I'd technically be able to do anything and still win.
In terms of the true capabilities of this ability, I wasn't sure. But it seemed like it could be really powerful if used correctly.
But more importantly, it seemed to be a key to learning more about this world.
Whatever the case, I had used up all of the experience so I decided to get up and make my way upstairs.
It was quite late so I was going to go to bed soon.
Before that, however, I was a little peckish. Like a clueless person, I walked up and then back down my stairs as I realised I had more I wanted to do. I slowly made my way into the kitchen and look in the cabinet.
There wasn't really anything I wanted to eat inside. I hadn't replenished my stock so all I had was some plain bread and spreads, mainly for breakfast.
I decided to go outside and have some food at a restaurant instead.
It'd be the first time I was leaving my home this late but I'm sure that at least one restaurant would be open. As I opened the door, I was greeted by the night sky, with the street being lit by a few archaic streetlights. I walked toward the commercial area and looked around to see if there were any stores open.
Most were closed, signified by their dark storefronts.
However, I noticed a group of elves making their way toward a brightly lit building. I decided to follow them a little bit and see what was going on. From what I could hear from the outside, there was either loud talking or singing, it was pretty hard to tell from this far away. I followed the group for a little while as they walked inside.
Once I walked a little closer, I could tell that it was a bar.
Technically, I'm sure there was nothing stopping me from having alcohol, even though I'd be underage. I was hungry so I decided to just go inside. Usually, bars sell food, right?
I was greeted by a worker.
"How old are you?"
"Erm... I'm eighteen?"
"There's no way you're eighteen." ƒr𝙚𝙚𝘸e𝚋𝐧૦ѵ𝒆𝒍.𝒄𝒐m
Huh?
He looked down at me suspiciously.
"Stop lying," he said.
"Oh... um..."
"Are you over eighty years old?"
"Eighty... years old?"
Ah.
I finally understood.
Elves must age differently.
"Er... I'm a human."
"You're a human?"
"Yeah."
I guess it might've been a little difficult to tell since it was so dark outside. After hearing what I said, the worker changed his expression.
"Well, come in then, I don't really know what to do."
