MY Masochistic CEO-Chapter 102 Campus charm
Chapter 102: Chapter 102 Campus charm
These girls were just radiating a youthful and sweet aura all over.
Noticing my arrival, Lillian trotted over. "William! You’re here!"
"Yeah, just arrived."
Suddenly, the girls surrounded us, clearly intrigued.
"Lillian, is this your boyfriend? He’s quite handsome!" one of them said.
Frankly, I felt pretty awkward being surrounded by a group of female students.
"You’re absolutely right! Everyone, this is my boyfriend, William Maine!" Lillian replied as she wrapped her arm around mine, an act as natural as ever.
I also courteously greeted them with a smile. "Hi, I’m William. Thank you for taking care of my Lillian."
"Wow, Lillian, your boyfriend drives a Mercedes!" a girl exclaimed, and the rest echoed.
All they knew about Lillian was that her family owned a business, but they all had assumed it was a small stall or something. Thus, I couldn’t spill the beans.
"This car must cost at least 200 grand," one girl said.
"Two hundred grand? Don’t make me laugh."
At this moment, the boys approached. Leading the group was an evidently cocky guy in a pair of Air Jordans.
"This is at most 100 grand. It’s like the cheapest Mercedes. Only girls like you would get fooled." He stubbed out his cigarette and added, "About the same price as mine."
I couldn’t help but find it comical. This kid was driving a Toyota Highlander, which was at most 50 grand, even with fully upgraded specs. That was a 50 grand difference at least, and he called it "about the same price"?
Clearly, he was the type who couldn’t afford cars over a hundred grand yet despised them as trash, fooling himself into thinking he was the "richest person on earth." What a laughable pipe dream!
As expected, the enthusiasm in the girls’ eyes dissipated quite a bit upon hearing his words.
"Ah, I see!"
"I thought this cost over 200 grand!"
Hearing their remarks, Lillian’s expression soured. Meanwhile, the boy added, "How about you all take my car instead? It’s spacious and comfortable."
The other boys echoed. "Yeah! Our car is spacious and comfortable!"
In no time, the girls entered that boy’s car one after another. However, surprisingly, a girl called Mya stood still and said, "Lillian, I’ll go with you!"
"Okay!" Lillian nodded.
The boy’s brows furrowed, clearly displeased seeing two girls get into my car.
’What’s with this kid? Is he interested in Lillian or Mya?’ I thought.
"Hey, you, keep up with us later, alright? We ain’t waiting!" he said irritably before getting into the car.
"William, don’t be angry. That’s Kyle, and he’s always been like that. He’s just a spoiled kid," Lillian said.
I nodded. "Don’t worry. I’m here to relax, not to pick a fight."
At this moment, Mya asked, "Lillian, your boyfriend isn’t in our school, is he?"
"Yeah, but I did graduate from your school, so I’m technically your senior," I replied.
"You’re a Sevan University graduate, too?"
"Yep! I majored in Business Management."
"So you’re my senior!" Mya said. "We are majoring in Dance in Art school!"
Dance major! No wonder they all had great figures and straight legs. Which meant Lillian was also a dance major? My interest was piqued.
Thinking about the dance studio that was under renovation, I felt it essential to build good relationships with these dance students.
In fact, many dance students were already a part of some dance studios before they graduated.
"There are only about five classes in the dance major, right?"
"That’s old news. Sevan University has expanded its Art School, and we’ve already got like eight more classes this year!"
Which meant... there were over a dozen dance classes! That would be over a thousand people! If I could get them to go to my dance studio, that’d be wonderful!
Nevertheless, I was in no hurry. Since I now knew Lillian was a dance major, I figured I could ask her for help.
Our first stop was the Sevan Disneyland.
It was the weekend, so the line was rather long. If we were to wait in line, it would most likely be noon by the time we got in. Thus, we found a scalper and bought sixteen tickets.
Retailing for a little over 60 dollars each, the scalper was selling them for as much as a hundred!
The scalper, despite making a sale of 16 hundred dollars, was getting impatient. "Are you buying or not? You’re not the only one waiting, you know!"
Kyle and the others discussed it for a while, all still thinking it was too expensive. One of the boys muttered quietly, "We’ve already spent nearly two grand on renting the car plus the deposit. Now, we have to spend another 16 hundred on these tickets. Plus, we’d have to buy snacks later while we’re playing, not to mention lunch... It’s way over budget. We can’t possibly stay at budget hotels tonight, can we?"
I almost burst out laughing at their words. So, their car was rented.
Seeing me chuckle, Kyle gritted his teeth and pointed at me. "He’s not from our school, he should pay for himself."
"Yes, Lillian, he’s your boyfriend. Let him pay for you!"
Lillian looked displeased and about to speak, but I pulled her back and said, "Alright, I’ll buy the tickets. Not just mine and Lillian’s, I’ll buy tickets for the other girls, too!"
"What?" Kyle’s expression changed. "Are you implying we can’t afford it?"
"Nope." I shrugged, thinking, ’Exactly!’
"Then why are you paying for them?" the boy asked.
"Cuz I want to thank them for taking care of Lillian. Is there a problem?"
I smiled and walked over to the scalper. "Nine tickets, please!"
He quickly handed me nine tickets, and I paid him 900 dollars. He grinned and looked at Kyle, sneering. "Broke as hell, but want to get girls?"
Kyle was almost driven into a frenzy by his words, yelling, "Give the tickets to me, I’ll pay!"
I couldn’t be bothered to argue with him. I handed the tickets to the girls, waved, and led the beautiful young girls inside.
’Isn’t having eight girls to myself fun?’
