My Lust System: I Inherited The Sin Of Lust And His Three Wives-Chapter 91: Damian & Hazel Wins
Bam!
Damian crashed into the ground with his arms crossed over his head. His limbs went numb beneath the crushing weight of Ruby’s fist, and the earth under him sank with a thunderous bang, splintering into a thousand web-like cracks.
It felt as though a mountain had been dropped on top of him, pressing him down inch by inch with merciless force no matter how fiercely he struggled.
’Since we are playing rough, I won’t hold back!’ Damian snarled inwardly as his demonic force erupted violently from his body.
Boom!
Ruby was blasted upward, jolted into the air by the sudden outburst. Yet barely a second later, her wings snapped open with a sharp bang, halting her retreat midair. Without the slightest hesitation, she shot right back toward the ground with the same terrifying intensity as before.
Swoosh!
Damian became a blur, skidding backward mere inches above the ground while his wings beat constantly to keep him afloat and moving.
Boom!
The earth erupted with a deafening roar, dust and debris blasting skyward as a cloud of smoke and rubble surged forward at incredible speed, crossing the space between them in the blink of an eye. Her claws lashed out like a whip, carving emerald lines through the air as they tore toward him.
"IF YOU PLAN TO OVERWHELM ALL YOUR ENEMIES, WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE LACKING IN POWER?" she growled.
Damian’s eyes narrowed. He stomped the ground, halting his retreat, then swerved sharply to the side as his body twisted with inhuman flexibility.
[Silk Body Skill Used!]
Swoosh!
Ruby’s eyes widened when her strike missed, but she had no time to dwell on it. In the same instant, she saw Damian slip to her side and throw a punch of his own. Without hesitation, she spun and slapped at his arm, trying to redirect the trajectory of the blow. Yet her hand struck nothing but empty wind as Damian’s fist seemed to fade away like an illusion.
BOOM!
GAH!
Ruby’s eyes flew wide as a scorching pain drilled into her chest, sending her body jolting backward for two full meters before she struck the ground. She staggered upright, clutching her chest with genuine shock written across her face. How had she failed to notice it at first glance? Silk Body and Phantom Feints had been Lin Qui’s bread and butter. She had not expected Damian to awaken this part of his inheritance.
"I could have killed you just now by bathing you in my soul lantern. But since you are my darling wife, I’m willing to go easy on you despite the fact that you are rude to me all the time." Damian grinned, raising his fist wreathed in azure flames as if it were a trophy.
Ruby frowned at her cocky husband. She hissed and launched herself forward again without a word. Now that she understood the extent of his strength, she would put him firmly back in his place.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
Claws and fists flooded the air as the two collided in a brutal exchange of close combat. Ruby was fast, and her attacks were vicious, but against Damian’s Silk Body she could barely land a clean hit, especially since he refused to press the offensive. He relied entirely on counterattacks. Yet Ruby was always ready, always retreating rather than gambling against his Phantom Feints. Because of that, the battle seemed perfectly even.
Until...
Swoosh!
Damian’s fist burst past Ruby’s face, and in that same instant her body bent beyond human limits, wrapping tightly around him in a rapid coil. Without hesitation, Damian unleashed a fierce geyser of dazzling azure flames from his body, but Ruby met it head-on with her demonic force.
[Living Arts: Queen Mother’s Coil]
Ruby’s demonic force condensed and took the shape of a massive two-headed serpent formed entirely from dark power. The sight made it seem as though a mighty twin-headed snake was crushing the life out of a towering pillar of azure flame.
As long as Damian’s soul flames could not break through her demonic force, she would eventually crush him. The battle was as good as over.
Meanwhile...
On the far side of the battlefield, a storm of crimson fire raged like a miniature whirlpool of living flame. At its center sat Racheal, charred black beyond recognition, yet her eyes remained cold and vicious while a cruel, eerie laughter spilled from her lips.
If Damian had been there, he would have been shocked by how far Hazel had pushed things, but he would have been even more stunned by the sight of Racheal’s flesh regenerating at an astonishing speed. Hazel’s flames were burning her, yet she was healing through it.
Racheal still sat upon her throne, her amused gaze drifting from Hazel to the blue pillar that looked moments away from being snuffed out beneath the serpent of demonic force.
"I suppose I will be spending an hour alone with our darling during this vacation." She giggled, causing Hazel to glance back over her shoulder at once.
Hazel stared at the pillar of flame with a slight frown, but then a cold smile slowly curled across her face as Damian’s icy voice ripped through the wind.
"Die then..."
[Ninefold Samsara Firefox skill used]
Buzz!
The azure flames turned white in an instant.
This time, the demonic force could not suppress them. The massive dark-red serpent erupted into white fire, and Ruby’s scream tore across the battlefield.
The white flames vanished just as quickly as they had appeared, disappearing a second after their release and leaving the entire property drowned in sudden silence.
Hazel drew back her sea of flames, a smirk resting on her lips.
"I told you. My husband won’t lose to any demon of the same level. We are no exception," she said proudly.
Racheal’s smile froze. She went quiet for a long moment, staring at the place where the white flames had vanished.
"Of course he would use the Samsara Firefox skill to bypass your demonic force! You shouldn’t have committed to ending him in one swing!" she snapped all of a sudden, her calm finally breaking.
Hazel burst into laughter while Racheal slapped a hand against her forehead and let out a defeated sigh.
Meanwhile...
Ruby sat on the ground wearing Damian’s shirt, her lower half bare. Aside from the dust and ash clinging to her body, she was mostly fine, but her eyes were swollen and wet. Damian stood beside her, patting her shoulder while silently wondering how he had somehow ended up being the one apologizing when she had been the one demanding the fight in the first place.
