My Love Debts Are Everywhere!-Chapter 695: Disguise and Sneak into the Palace
Chapter 695: Disguise and Sneak into the Palace
"Young Master, do I look good in this armor?"
Elina twirled around excitedly, her eyes shining with anticipation as she looked at Leon.
Leon chuckled softly and nodded. "It suits you perfectly. That armor was made for female dwarves, after all."
"Hehehe..." Elina giggled in delight, then turned her gaze to the four unconscious dwarves—three men and one woman—lying on the floor.
The two men on the right were tax officials, while the pair on the left—a man and a woman—were soldiers whose armor they had taken.
Leon had knocked all four out so they could sneak into the Royal Palace unnoticed.
"By the way, what are we going to do with them? Should we hide them?" Elina asked curiously.
"Yes," Leon replied with a small nod. "I’ll move them to the corner of the room. While I do that, can you cast a concealment spell?"
Elina grinned. "Of course I can!"
Leon hoisted one dwarf onto each shoulder, supporting the remaining two with his arms. He carried them to the side of the room and laid them down gently.
"Alright," he said, clapping his hands together. "Let’s cast the spell."
"Mm!" Elina nodded and began chanting in the elven tongue.
A magic circle appeared above the four unconscious dwarves, and their bodies gradually faded from sight.
"This spell will last as long as no one touches them," Elina said as she turned to Leon.
"It doesn’t matter. They’ll wake up in six hours. By then, we should already be inside the palace and meeting the Crown Prince," Leon replied casually.
Elina smiled and gave a quiet nod.
After making sure everything was secure, Leon placed a hand on Elina’s shoulder. In the next instant, both of them vanished from the room.

The Royal Palace stood on the northern side of Valgrund—a magnificent structure of immense scale.
It was built with gold and rare materials such as orichalcum and adamantine, metals typically reserved for crafting high-level weapons.
The gates towered at ten meters high, and black-armored soldiers patrolled constantly, guarding the entrance and the thick walls surrounding the palace.
Despite its grandeur, the Royal Palace still fell short compared to the Emerald Palace, the Demon Imperial Palace, and the Holy Hall of the Holy Orthodoxy.
"Young Master, how are we going to get inside?"
From behind a large boulder roughly two hundred meters from the gate, Elina peeked out cautiously.
At first, she had assumed that the dwarves’ royal palace would be similar to the Emerald Palace of the Elven race—open and lightly guarded.
But she had been wrong. This palace was encircled by massive, fortified walls, and its gates were tightly shut. Dozens of dwarven soldiers stood watch around the perimeter.
Breaking into the Royal Palace seemed impossible for anyone—except for the two of them.
After all, standing beside her was Leon—the Fated One—who always found a way, no matter how unlikely.
"Don’t worry," Leon said gently. "I have a plan. But I’ll need your help."
Elina tilted her head, confusion clearly written on her face.

"Hey, have you checked the west side?"
A soldier approached his patrolling partner, gripping a spear in his right hand.
The other soldier gave a small nod. "I did. Everything’s clear."
The first soldier nodded in approval, patted his partner on the shoulder, and said, "Good. You take the south side; I’ll handle the east."
With that, they split up and returned to their patrol routes.
But suddenly—
*Boom!*
A loud explosion echoed from the west side, making both soldiers jump in surprise.
They exchanged a quick glance before dashing toward the source of the noise.
And they weren’t alone—other soldiers rushed in the same direction, abandoning their posts.
While the rest were distracted, Leon stood waiting as Elina came running toward him, panting heavily.
"Did it work?" Leon asked.
"It worked!" Elina beamed, raising her hands to form a V sign.
"Good." Leon gave her a light pat on the head. "Let’s go."
Without another word, they sprinted toward the now-open palace gates.

The explosion had thrown the palace into chaos. Soldiers from both inside and outside rushed out through the gates in alarm.
As a result, the inside of the palace fell into an eerie silence, with only a few panicked and anxious servants remaining.
Leon and Elina stepped inside calmly, exuding confidence.
It wasn’t surprising, considering there were hardly any soldiers left within the palace walls.
"Young Master, this place feels strange," Elina whispered, glancing around warily.
Unlike most palaces, which were bright and elegant, the Dwarven Royal Palace was dark and somber.
Empty suits of armor stood in each corner like silent sentinels.
Paintings lined the walls, but instead of landscapes or portraits of royalty, they depicted swords, spears, shields, and various other weapons.
Large windows flanked both sides of the corridor, allowing sunlight to stream in—but strangely, the light did little to dispel the palace’s gloomy atmosphere.
"You’re right. The air here is unsettling," Leon muttered, his brow furrowing.
They continued walking through the long corridors. Given the vast size of the palace, it took time to navigate toward their destination: the underground prison, where the Crown Prince was being held.
Fortunately, Leon had already read the memories of the two soldiers from the tax office earlier, so he knew exactly where to go.
"Hey, you two—stop right there!"
A cold voice rang out from behind, freezing them in place.
Elina looked panicked, while Leon remained calm. He turned to find a dwarf soldier approaching with a stern expression and sharp eyes.
The soldier gave Leon a once-over, then asked suspiciously, "Who are you? I don’t think I’ve seen you before."
Cold sweat trickled down Elina’s back. She glanced at Leon, silently hoping he’d come up with an answer.
"My name is Goron, and she’s Tarvina. We’re new recruits. We just got back from helping secure the tax office," Leon replied firmly, his tone confident.
"New recruits, huh?" The soldier frowned, clearly doubtful, but then slowly nodded. He gave Leon a firm pat on the shoulder and broke into a broad smile. "Alright then. Carry on with your duties."
His demeanor shifted, becoming more relaxed and friendly, allowing Elina to quietly breathe a sigh of relief.
Leon gave a slight nod before turning and walking away with Elina.
Behind them, the soldier watched for a moment, then shook his head and returned to his post.
But he hadn’t gone ten steps before stopping in his tracks.
"Wait a minute..."
He turned back—only to find the two had already vanished from sight.
"If I remember correctly, the ones guarding the tax office were Taruk and Tonia. So why are there two new ones now?"
He stood still for a moment, deep in thought, then sighed and rubbed his temples. "Maybe I just remembered it wrong..."
