My Idle Gaming System-Chapter 258: A Different Approach! I
As Noah was about to make contact with the unique existence given a Primordial Heart from a genuine Primordial, his second clone that he sent in the Boundary Between Realities also made some headway in the past days!
Uniquely, he was able to locate a line of Reality that was nowhere near as unique as the one that led him to the Primordial Cosmos, but it was still granted a level of protection that reminded Noah of the last Cosmos of a Reality he descended down in that held a Champion.
His destiny only confirmed this after his soul had gained sufficient strength to descend down fully onto the Cosmos of this new Reality, but he put everything on pause as he gauged whether he should even try to descend when this Cosmos probably held another Champion.
He didn't want to lose another Subjugated Antiquity, so he stopped his clone just shy of passing the barrier of this Reality as he monitored what his destiny was leading him towards in the Primordial Cosmos!
He wanted to see what the existence that had actually been able to call a Primordial to save his Cosmos from being Subjugated had that his destiny continued to point him towards!
"What are you?"
His voice was very direct as his cluster of soul weaved around the Boundary of Reality and sent a message to the unique being with a blue Slime situated atop his head.
His words caused the eyes of this being to flash sharply as his aura raged out, trying to find where his soul was located!
"You won't find me anywhere, that woman made sure of that. But she couldn't prevent me from leaving an untraceable portion of my consciousness here...this consciousness being able to do nothing but observe and speak."
He spoke calmly as his main body continued to study his destiny while he did so. He began by probing slowly.
"For her to hand you a Primordial Heart...for someone of her caliber to even care enough to do such a thing...it means your Universal Fortune is vaster than any Antiquities, or you're one of them."
"Oh?" His words finally caused a reaction as the existence smiled calmly while speaking out. "One of them?"
"Yes, one of them. Beings that those existences pay attention to and occasionally interfere in the lives of...weapons that they forge for their own uses- existences they call Champions that they rear as animals for their own purposes."
WAA!
Noah was straightforward as he spoke, the expression of the being before him changing as he continued- knowing his soul had very little time left here!
"Her making a move and even going further to hand you a Treasure only leaves a few possibilities of your identity. Which begs the question...what is your name?"
A name. Noah knew the Primordials were playing a Cosmic joke as they either influenced destiny to choose Champions with the same names, or by means he didn't even know. But he had come across a Champion named Aegon as the past Usurper had met another of this name, and others termed Ezekiel and even Noah!
So he wanted to know what the name of this being before existence eyes was.
"You ask for my name and state all these claims about beings with vast Universal fortunes being Tools for others...even knowing secrets that nobody else knows. Mind you, you were the being that was just invading this Cosmos moments ago! Why should I be listening to anything you say?"
The Hegemony before him replied curtly while raising his eyes.
"..."
His question caused a period of silence as Noah replied to him a second later.
"I can speak about this with confidence and even share with you knowledge about Primordials and their secret...because I was one of the weapons they were forging. I was a Champion."
…!
Noah's voice continued to echo out as he spoke to the unique Hegemony before him, speaking more about his experience to gain the trust of this being as after another exchange of words, he asked whether the names Aegon, Noah, Ezekiel meant anything to him!
Noah saw a visible reaction appear after he mentioned these names, now confident of his thoughts as he continued.
'If he truly is one of the Champions and he hasn't yet fully fallen under their influence, then maybe…'
Maybe this was what his Destiny was leading him to! Another Champion that wasn't fully influenced by Primordials like he was!
The task to restore his Idle Gaming System was arduous even now as after days had passed, Noah's strong soup that had devoured over 100 Quintillion souls- most from the Abyssal Plane- he had finally been able to repair the Runic etchings he found in his soul.
The Runic etchings that formed into a unique symbol he didn't yet understand, but he knew it was what the Primordial had destroyed when he lost his System!
Now, even though these unique Runic etchings were repaired, Noah still couldn't activate them in any way as they required an essence that only Primordials could utilize. An essence he did not have access to as he was searching for this right now to completely repair his System, and a good place to start was to connect with other Champions that had their own Systems.
After he confirmed from the reaction of this being that his name could be one of the three he mentioned, he gave the same speech that the Great Usurper had given him weeks ago.
The speech of Primordials and their splitting of the Main Reality to branch off countless ones, of Primordial Beasts that were born to devour the Cosmos of these realities and destroy them, and the Champions raised by Primordials to stop them...Noah spoke about all of these things as he felt his waves of destiny continue to rise ever so slowly!
He finished his speech as he spoke about himself and the myriad of other Champions that had to be spread out across different Realities.
"Tools. Weapons. Champions. Beings that they try to raise in every Dimensional Reality to make sure that as few Branch Realities as possible are destroyed and rejoin the Main Reality. Existences with such power and might that exceed common sense. Existences like us."
Mere tools to be used for the aims of others! Noah spoke strongly about this as he looked towards the unique Hegemony before him!
