My Idle Gaming System-Chapter 248: Something Given Can Always Be Taken!
What was given could always be taken away.
Noah knew this every time that he glanced at his destiny after he finished his last meeting with the Usurper. He knew that it was something he would have to overcome, but it still hurt regardless when it actually came.
The Idle Gaming System was not Noah's- it was the power of another terrifyingly powerful being as at this moment, this existence was taking it away!
"Ahhh!"
Noah felt like a part of him was being ripped out as the moment that the Primordial reached out, his very soul felt like hooks had entered it as they were pulling with great force.
Pulling with such utter force against everything he had as something etched deep within him- the very same System that he awoke to as it made him something from barely anything...such a thing was seeing ripped out from him.
The Primordial was heartless as he cared not for the pain, continuing the process even faster as Noah felt a portion of him ripped out, leaving something blank and incomplete in his soul as he could hardly breathe after this process was done!
"What I granted...I have taken. As for you…" His gaze was emotionless as it looked at Noah, seeing this failed Champion stare back at him with eyes filled with anger and defiance after he had his System pulled out of his origin and soul!
The stare was a unique one as it showed no fear against this great personage, the Primordial looking at this as his anger only rose.
"You think I cannot hurt you? You think you can stare at me in defiance after I've taken the one thing that caused you to rise to the level you are at right now?!"
WAA!
The voice of the Primordial became increasingly chilling as he grabbed onto Noah's body, his robust hands grabbing his head and pushing it outwards as he was forced to watch the surroundings of the Ethereal Realm.
"Let me show you. First, the Realm you were born in."
THRUM!
Their surroundings began to shake madly as from the left eye of the Primordial, countless golden swords swirled as they released a sharp light, and Noah watched it shock as the space of the Ethereal Realm began to shatter and break into storms of chaotic spatial essence!
"Watch." The voice of the Primordial remained utterly cold as his eyes shone brighter, Noah watching the vast Ethereal Realm he was in terrifyingly become folded and shattered into a void of storms in a mere second.
The entire Realm and the billions of creatures within it!
SHAA!
Their figures became wrapped in a spatial light as Noah found they were out of the Ethereal Plane, the hidden door to this Realm shattered into pieces as the voice of the Primordial continued.
"The Dimensional Plane you were born in."
…!
The golden eye filled with rows of circular swords flashed gloriously once more as similar to the Ethereal Realm, Noah saw the surrounding space littered with starry space and stellar bodies beginning to break and tear like a mere piece of glass!
"Why…"
He could understand this being killing him. He could account for many things...but he didn't expect the personage that was a Primordial to actually shatter a realm as he now proceeded to shatter the entire Sublunary Plane!
"Because I can." His cold voice rang out.
"Because I have the power to do so, and nothing can stop me. I want you to understand that that is what you said no to. I want you to know the power that you could have come close to achieving if you had simply been a good little pet."
RUMBLE!
"That Realm and this Dimension...the blood of trillions falls on your hands. Know this before your death."
The words of this existence were utterly brutal as Noah stared at the sight of an entire Dimensional Plate being torn apart, feeling his body and soul beginning to burn at this moment as blue flames erupted from the Primordial and danced to cover his body.
"Even if you are a failed product, I will still give you a quick death. If there ever was a next life, learn your lesson then."
A burning blue flame covered everything.
As Noah glanced at a shattering Dimensional Plane, his body and soul were consumed by this blazing blue flame as the site of a shattering Dimension was the only thing he saw.
The only thing that a portion of his soul experienced!
"..."
What was left behind was a single Primordial in the midst of a shattering Dimension, this being actually clicking his lips as he looked around with displeasure.
"Now I have to go find another useless Lower Existence in this Reality compatible with a System to be a Champion. What a damn waste!"
With words of displeasure, this being was wrapped in a spatial light as he faded away.
He returned just as quickly as he had come leaving behind a wake of shocking destruction and misery that resulted in trillions dying out of nowhere!
In another Reality.
"..."
Noah was gasping deeply as he found his eyes and other orifices to be bleeding, the shocking amount of damage the other portion of his soul felt being something utterly shocking as it was somehow even felt by the other portion of his soul in another Reality!
His heart felt even more pain and guilt as he recalled the scene of the Ethereal Plane and entire Dimension being shattered just for fear to be instilled in him before his death!
If he hadn't made preparations and sent Annalise and Rose into this Reality as well..such a thought wasn't even something he wanted to entertain at this moment.
At the same time, Noah also felt the emptiness in his Origin and Soul that represented something he couldn't sense before, and yet now it was the only thing he could sense.
There was a gap in his Soul as there, there were echoes of the inscription of a wondrous System that granted him many things.
"Idle Gaming System Interface…" He called out lightly as nothing popped up before his eyes.
"..."
He felt this blankness clearly as at the same time, he also felt an immense weight lifted off his shoulders. A relief of not being under threat of anything as he felt reborn!
As for the lost Idle Gaming System?
"If a Primordial can make a System...so can I!"
WAA!
His voice carried anger and power and his eyes blazed with arcs of blue light, a chapter in his life coming to a close as he dealt with the repercussions of his actions and the actions of a Primordial!
