MY HIDDEN TALENT IS FORBIDDEN BY THE HEAVENS-Chapter 226: JUDGMENT DESCENDS
Chapter 226 — JUDGMENT DESCENDS
For the first time since the battle began, the storm above the city went quiet. Not because the wind had stopped and not because the lightning had faded, but because something heavier had entered the sky.
Six figures descended through the clouds. They did not fall like meteors and they did not glide like wings. They simply appeared lower and lower, as if gravity itself was politely allowing them passage. Each one radiated blinding white light. Not warm. Not holy. Cold. Clinical.
The air across the battlefield thickened instantly.
The Jade Dragon felt it first. Its massive wings slowed mid-motion as emerald lightning flickered along its scales and the creature lifted its head to watch the descending figures. Long Hao felt it next. Even in his Eclipse Dragon form, the pressure pressed against his chest like invisible mountains lowering themselves around him.
Below, the Eight froze. Han muttered under his breath that the sky suddenly felt like it weighed a thousand tons. Nyx answered quietly that something above them believed it owned the sky.
High above the battlefield the six luminous figures stopped and hovered in perfect formation. They were tall and armored, their bodies almost human but with proportions too precise and symmetrical. Plates of radiant white armor flowed across their forms like liquid marble, etched with faint golden symbols that pulsed slowly. Behind each of them spread vast wings made of condensed light—not feathers, but energy. Their presence distorted the clouds around them, forcing the storm to spiral outward as if pushed away by invisible barriers.
For several seconds nobody spoke.
Then one of them stepped forward.
The central figure.
Its wings expanded slightly as the voice that followed carried across the sky with terrifying clarity.
"Sovereign anomalies confirmed."
The words felt like a law written into the air.
Long Hao’s golden eyes narrowed as he answered casually that they had noticed. The Jade Dragon’s emerald aura flared as it lifted its head and greeted them, saying they had finally arrived.
The Executor turned its gaze toward the Jade Dragon and its eyes burned with pure white light.
"Anchor fragment detected."
The Jade Dragon laughed, the sound rolling through the sky like collapsing mountains. It reminded them that they had shattered it once and yet still feared what it might become. The Executor’s expression did not change.
"Containment failure recorded."
Its gaze shifted toward Long Hao and for a moment the world seemed to tighten as the pressure around the battlefield intensified. Long Hao felt the system inside him react instantly as the Sovereign core pulsed violently within his mind.
[WARNING: DIVINE AUTHORITY DETECTED]
Long Hao muttered that it sounded serious. Longyu’s voice echoed softly inside his mind, explaining that they were not angels. When Long Hao asked what they were, her answer came quietly.
Execution protocols.
Above them the Executor continued speaking.
"Eclipse Sovereign entity detected. Unauthorized evolution."
Long Hao flexed his claws slowly and remarked that the welcome was not very friendly. The Executor raised one hand and the sky reacted instantly. The storm clouds froze completely, lightning hanging motionless in the air like cracks suspended in glass while even the wind died.
Below, Han stared upward and asked if they had just paused the weather. Nyx whispered that they had not paused the weather at all—they had paused the environmental flow of time.
Above them the Executor spoke again.
"Judgment authorized."
The Jade Dragon roared as emerald energy exploded outward from its body. The frozen lightning shattered instantly as the dragon forced the sky to move again. It spread its wings across the storm and challenged them to try erasing it again.
The Executors did not react.
Instead one of the six stepped forward and raised its hand.
The sky opened.
Not metaphorically.
Literally.
A circular tear of white light formed above the battlefield like a wound carved into the clouds. From within it a spear of pure radiance descended, not fast and not slow but simply inevitable.
The Jade Dragon’s eyes burned brighter as it unleashed Emerald Sovereign Roar, blasting a massive wave of jade energy upward. The beam collided with the descending spear and the sky exploded in blinding light as a shockwave tore across the battlefield.
Below, the Eight were thrown backward by the pressure. Han slammed into the side of the communications tower and coughed that those figures were cheating.
Above them the Jade Dragon roared again as emerald energy surged through its body and the massive creature lunged toward the Executors, tearing through the clouds like a living storm.
But the central Executor moved.
Just slightly.
It extended its hand and the space around the Jade Dragon collapsed inward. The dragon’s enormous body stopped mid-flight, not by force but by command.
Invisible lines of light appeared in the air around it, forming a cage.
Not physical.
Conceptual.
The Jade Dragon’s wings strained against the prison as emerald lightning exploded across its surface, but the cage held.
The Executor spoke calmly.
"Anchor suppression protocol engaged."
Long Hao stared at the scene and muttered that it was new. Inside his mind Longyu spoke urgently, explaining that they were trying to seal the dragon.
Long Hao frowned and asked why they were not attacking him too.
Her answer came quietly.
They would.
As if hearing her, another Executor turned its gaze toward Long Hao and its wings expanded slightly.
"Second anomaly confirmed."
Long Hao flexed his claws and called the accusation rude. The Executor raised its hand and suddenly the gravity around Long Hao multiplied. The Eclipse Dragon’s massive body dropped several meters instantly as the air crushed downward like invisible oceans.
Long Hao grunted that the weight was impressive.
Below, Nyx’s eyes widened and she explained that the Executors were rewriting physical laws. Rao whispered that it was divine-level authority.
Above them the Executor spoke again.
"Containment protocol initiated."
The air around Long Hao began forming rings of white light that rotated slowly while compressing the space inside them. Inside his mind the system screamed.
[CRITICAL ALERT: DIVINE RESTRAINT FIELD]
Long Hao clenched his claws and remarked that he had noticed.
Then he looked up at the six glowing figures hovering above the battlefield and sighed quietly.
"Well," he muttered.
His wings spread wider as black-gold energy erupted outward and he declared that they were doing this now.
The Eclipse Dragon roared as the sky cracked again.
And for the first time—
The Executors prepared to fight.
