MY HIDDEN TALENT IS FORBIDDEN BY THE HEAVENS-Chapter 225: THE SKY STARTED WATCHING
Chapter 225 — THE SKY STARTED WATCHING
The battle between the two dragons had stopped feeling like a fight. It felt like the sky itself had turned hostile.
Every clash between the Jade Dragon and the Eclipse Dragon ripped open the storm clouds, sending shockwaves through the atmosphere that rolled across the ruined city like waves crashing against a shoreline. Lightning—emerald and gold—kept bursting through the sky in violent flashes that illuminated the burning districts below.
What was left of the skyline trembled with every impact.
Glass towers already weakened from earlier attacks collapsed floor by floor. Fire crews were still working between blocks of rubble, pulling survivors out while evacuation helicopters struggled to keep control in the unpredictable air currents.
Yet even in that chaos—
Everyone kept looking up. Because above the city, something impossible was unfolding. High in the sky, Long Hao moved first.
The Eclipse Dragon surged forward, wings slicing through the storm clouds like blades of midnight. Black scales gleamed faintly with molten veins of gold running across them, each pulse of energy radiating a pressure that distorted the air around him.
Across the sky, the Jade Dragon watched calmly. Its emerald eyes glowed with ancient awareness.
"You hurry." Long Hao’s golden eyes narrowed slightly. "Yeah." His wings flexed once.
"Your speech about Heaven watching us? Not exactly comforting." The Jade Dragon tilted its massive head. "You should be more concerned." Long Hao snorted. "Already am." Then he attacked.
The Eclipse Dragon folded his wings and shot forward like a falling star. His claws surged with black-gold energy.
"Eclipse Sovereign Claw!"
The strike crashed into the Jade Dragon’s forearm. Emerald scales shattered instantly. Fragments of jade crystal scattered across the storm clouds like falling stars. The Jade Dragon recoiled slightly. But the creature retaliated instantly. Its tail whipped upward. The strike slammed across Long Hao’s chest.
The Eclipse Dragon was thrown backward through the sky. Clouds exploded around his body as he spun through the storm before stabilizing himself.
Below—
Han whistled. "...Still getting knocked around." Nyx kept watching the sky. "He’s testing limits." Han frowned. "Testing?" Nyx nodded. "He knows something bigger is coming."
Above them—
The Jade Dragon hovered again. "You fight harder." Long Hao flexed his claws. "Running out of time." The Jade Dragon’s emerald aura pulsed. Its wings expanded across the storm. "The Executors will not delay forever."
Long Hao frowned. "You keep mentioning them like they’re a bigger problem than you." The Jade Dragon stared at him. "They are." The storm clouds twisted violently above them. Long Hao followed the dragon’s gaze upward again.
Far beyond the cloud layers—
Something faint moved behind the sky. A thin streak of white light. Like distant stars shifting across the horizon. Long Hao’s eyes narrowed. "...That doesn’t look good." The Jade Dragon’s voice rolled through the clouds. "They approach."
Below—
The Eight felt the pressure change. Han stiffened slightly. "...Okay. That’s new." Rao lifted his gaze. "I feel it." Nyx’s expression darkened. "So do I." Dr. Kovács stared at her sensor display. "...Energy signatures detected above the atmosphere." Han blinked. "...Above the what?"
Above them—
The Jade Dragon spoke again. "You see now." Long Hao cracked his claws slowly. "So Heaven really is watching." The dragon’s emerald eyes burned brighter. "Heaven always watches." Long Hao exhaled slowly. "Well, That’s annoying."
The Jade Dragon roared. The storm exploded outward. Then it attacked again. Its massive claw tore downward through the sky. Long Hao met the strike head-on. Claw collided with claw. The impact detonated across the clouds.
But this time—
Long Hao pushed forward. Black-gold energy surged through his arm.
"Void Eclipse Crush!"
The Jade Dragon slid backward several meters through the storm.
Below—
Han grinned. "Now we’re talking." But the Jade Dragon recovered instantly. Its emerald aura surged violently. "You grow reckless." Long Hao hovered calmly."Running out of time." The Jade Dragon’s eyes narrowed slightly. "Yes."
The dragon lifted its head again. The storm clouds above them twisted violently. The distant streaks of light had grown brighter. Long Hao could see them clearly now. They weren’t stars. They were descending. And they burned with a light far brighter than anything natural.
"...Those aren’t meteors," Long Hao muttered. The Jade Dragon answered calmly. "No." The dragon’s wings spread across the storm. "They are judges."
Below—
Nyx’s voice dropped to a whisper. "They’re entering the atmosphere." Han stared upward. "...You’re kidding." Kovács’ sensors began screaming warnings. "Energy levels rising!"
Above them—
The streaks of light tore through the upper clouds. Six brilliant figures descended slowly through the storm. Each one surrounded by blinding white radiance. Their forms looked humanoid. Tall and Armored. Wings of radiant energy spread behind them like living halos.
The air pressure across the battlefield increased instantly. Even the Jade Dragon’s emerald aura flickered slightly. Long Hao stared. "...Well, Time to fight."
The Jade Dragon spoke quietly. "The Executors." The six figures stopped high above the battlefield. They hovered silently. Watching and Judging. One of them moved slightly forward. Its voice echoed across the sky like a bell struck inside the clouds.
"Sovereign anomalies detected."
The words rippled through the storm.
"Judgment authorized."
Below—
Han swallowed.
"...I officially hate those guys."
Nyx didn’t respond.
Her gaze remained locked on the sky.
Above—
The Jade Dragon exhaled slowly.
"You see."
Long Hao flexed his claws.
"Yeah."
He looked up at the glowing figures.
Then back at the Jade Dragon.
"...You weren’t lying."
The Jade Dragon’s emerald eyes burned brighter.
"They will erase us both."
Long Hao exhaled slowly.
"Well."
He rolled his shoulders.
"That complicates things."
The Jade Dragon stared at him.
"For you."
Long Hao’s golden eyes narrowed.
"Oh?"
The Jade Dragon’s wings expanded.
"I have fought Heaven before."
The storm erupted again.
The dragon’s emerald aura surged violently. Long Hao stared. "...You’re serious." The Jade Dragon roared. Lightning tore across the sky. "Let them come." Above them—
The six Executors began descending. And the sky itself seemed to bow beneath their presence. The war had just grown far bigger.
