My Evil Boy Toy-Chapter 279: Kyllian’s New Boss
Chapter 279: Kyllian’s New Boss
He gave Jayden some new clothes and handed him a gun and a knife. He still couldn’t believe that after years of being with the Trekker Clan, he would change sides.
No one could blame him. He fell in love with a decent woman eight years ago. He wanted to be free and live peacefully with her, but he knew Jonathan Trekker would not allow that.
Instead, Jonathan offered him an apartment so he could marry Aurora and live there. At first, he was happy with the offer. But when he found out that the place they lived in was owned by the Wilson Clan, he knew that his family was being used and now part of Jonathan’s game.
He didn’t have a choice. He had to follow Jonathan and be his dog so he could protect his wife. Things got more complicated when Aurora gave birth to twins. He needed to be tough for them.
He looked at Jayden. The young man who might be the answer to his problems. He said he would do everything to protect his family and finally free him from the Trekker Clan.
"Are you done?" He asked.
Jayden simply nodded. He stared at the young man again and it seemed he was still the other guy.
He didn’t expect Jayden to have another personality. And he was sure Jonathan didn’t know anything about it as well.
"Are you not afraid?" He asked Jayden again.
He saw him grin and that’s when he knew this man was a lot different from his other identity. He couldn’t see any fear in his eyes. As if he was looking into the eyes of the devil.
"If death is my future, then I should just embrace it." Jayden said.
Kyllian felt goosebumps hearing those words from Jayden.
’Is this also a game for him?’ He thought to himself.
"Should we just escape from here, or do you want to face Jonathan?" He asked Jayden another question.
"I’m not a coward so I’d rather face and fight him, than run away without seeing that bastard’s face," Jayden said with gritted teeth.
Kyllian nodded and then slowly opened the door. They heard some voices in a room at the end of the hall. He wanted to be invisible as much as possible, but he was shocked when Jayden walked directly toward a room with around fifteen men.
Then Jayden started shooting them. He had no choice but to help his new boss. He could say that even though Jayden looked like a girl, he knows how to use a gun. And he was really good at it.
He checked the men and they were either shot between their eyes or to their hearts.
"I practiced." Jayden whispered with a wide smile on his face.
Kyllian gulped seeing Jayden’s face. Blood was all over him. Then he noticed that he slit the throat of four men who were on the verge of dying.
"They did it to my mom, so I’m just returning the favor."
He didn’t answer. He didn’t know something about Jayden’s mother. But seeing the young man’s face, he knew he was a broken soul.
"I think we should leave. I’m sure they heard the gunshots." He said.
Kyllian tried to avoid Jayden from Jonathan’s men. But it was like Jayden didn’t want it. He kept on walking toward them, shooting them and slitting their throat.
"Are you crazy? We should avoid them as much as possible. We have to get out of here alive! Think about your wife!" Kyllian exclaimed.
But Jayden was unstoppable. His anger grew as he kill Jonathan’s men one by one.
Finally, they came into Jonathan’s room. The head of the Trekker Clan was already waiting for them. He had a few men behind him while he sat comfortably on a single sofa.
"You’re finally here, my son-in-law."
Jayden laughed. "I am not your son-in-law!"
"Oh, don’t be rude. Come, have a seat, and let’s talk." Jonathan said.
Jayden walked toward the other sofa to sit while Kyllian stood behind him.
"How’s Peggy?" Jonathan asked.
Jayden smirked. "Hearing you calling my wife’s name made me want to puke. You are disgusting."
Jonathan shrugged his shoulders. "Let’s just talk about the things that happened and will happen."
Jonathan took a sip from his wine glass and slightly smiled. Then he turned his gaze again to Jayden.
"From the start, my goal is to get revenge on the royal family. But things got complicated when Catherine fell in love with Matthew Forelli, and then your parents got caught in between. Even you and your friends."
Jayden chuckled. "You killed innocent people because you wanted revenge to the royal family? I don’t think so. You just wanted to restore not the name of your clan but it’s power. You tried very hard to get the throne from the Hulls, but you didnn’t win even once."
"And what made you think, I didn’t?" Jonathan asked.
"If you did, I will be talking to you here in a secluded mansion. What’s this place again? In the end, you can’t get all the power you need. You don’t even have a decent place to stay. You were all an outcast, hiding from society that you clearly do not belong." Jayden said without batting an eye.
His words made Kyllian realize how miserable his life was. Jayden was right. For so many years, they’ve been moving from different cities, finding a place for them.
The Trekker Clan was supposed to be disbanded a long time ago, but Benjamin promised them a brighter future. A lot of them hoped for something better. They wanted acceptance from society, but how could that be possible if everything they do was to kill, to steal, and threaten everyone?
Jonathan gritted his teeth and suddenly pulled out his gun, then pointed at Jayden. Kyllian was surprised that Jayden was already pointing his gun at Jonathan. But he was more concerned about the men behind Jonathan.
There were around twenty men whose guns were pointed at their faces, compared to just the two of them.
"What made you think that you can get away from here alive? You came in here with just one man behind you."
Jayden laughed, making Kyllian confused. Is this man didn’t fear even death?
"And what made you think that I only have one man behind me?"
Kyllian was surprised. He turned his eyes from left to right and looked behind him. There was no one but him. And then his eyes widened when he saw a red light pointed at Jonathan and his men’s chest and head.
Jayden chuckled. "I am never alone. As you said, my family and friends was caught in between and because of that we don’t intend to sit quietly and do nothing."
