My Dragon Baby and Billionaire Husband-Chapter 33 Si Mingjing: Aww! She’s asking for death!
Chapter 33: Chapter 33 Si Mingjing: Aww! She’s asking for death!
He cooked it himself. After spending over an hour in the kitchen simmering the bird’s nest porridge and frying some crispy Xiaosu meat, he fed Si Mingjing, in her chibi dragon form, bite by bite.
Si Mingjing kept her gaze lowered, trying to appear composed, but the sweet scent invaded her senses. She couldn’t resist the temptation of the delicious food.
Letting go completely, she settled into an imposing dragon-like posture, her back resting comfortably against Mo Yinhe’s chest. Her little dragon legs splayed out carelessly, and her little dragon claws drooped over Mo Yinhe. A tuft of light pink fluff was visible on her belly, and her little tail quivered.
Mo Yinhe simply adored her arrogant look as she waited to be served. It was just like the one in his memory!
He fed her bird’s nest porridge. She opened her mouth and ate it sweetly, bite by bite.
Mo Yinhe had never felt a night could be so wonderful. She was nestled in his arms, allowing him to feed her, her little dragon claws contentedly rubbing her small belly.
The void in Mo Yinhe’s heart was being filled by her adorable, contented state.
Then, Mo Yinhe picked up a bowl of steaming hot herbal medicine from the table, closed his eyes, and downed it in one gulp.
The medicine was so bitter it made his tongue numb. Suddenly, however, it didn’t seem so bitter after all, even tasting a bit sweet after the bitterness.
Mo Yinhe decided he needed to recover his health quickly.
Si Mingjing, her little tail quivering, saw him take the medicine so cleanly and efficiently. She understood the current situation and suddenly calmed down.
She was no longer contemplating how to escape from the Force Field Protective Shield. Instead, she decided to just go with the flow. Well, for the sake of the delicious bird’s nest porridge he fed me, I’ll give him another infusion of heat tonight, so he won’t cough up blood anymore!
And so, Si Mingjing was exceptionally well-behaved for the rest of the time.
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!
Ye Shen knocked on the bedroom door. "Brother, I’ve come to take care of you."
"Get lost!"
Why would Mo Yinhe need Ye Shen, that big third wheel, right now?
Besides, that kid was clearly tired of living. He had dared to turn off the main power switch to the manor last night!
"Brother, don’t be mad! I really didn’t turn off the power. Why would I go turn off the electricity in this freezing weather? I’m being utterly framed! No wonder it’s snowing outside!"
"Brother, do you know where Miss Si has gone? I haven’t seen her all day. Xiaobai is going crazy! He’s throwing a fit and even refusing to eat dinner!"
Ye Shen shouted himself hoarse outside the door, but no one in the bedroom paid him any attention.
Ye Shen felt dejected. Well, how could I not know what’s going on with my brother? He’s going to have a high fever in the middle of the night. I should really be out looking for Miss Si now!
Ye Shen went downstairs. As he was preparing to go out and look for her, he bumped into the butler coming in with a report. "Third Young Master, the Song Family is outside demanding to see Your Excellency."
Ye Shen’s face visibly darkened. "How dare they come? Don’t you know to send them away directly? Why come and report to me? Are you trying to annoy me even more?"
The butler had intended to turn the Song Family away, but he explained, "Old Master Song didn’t come alone. He brought the Minister of Health from A Country and several academicians from the Traditional Medicine Research Institute.
"They claim that the prescription Miss Si wrote will make Your Excellency terminally ill and put his life in danger. They insist they must rush over to prevent this.
"They’re afraid that if they’re a step too late and something happens to Your Excellency, it might cause an international dispute."
Ye Shen frowned. "Is it really that exaggerated? My brother doesn’t seem terminally ill to me. Forget it, let them in. We don’t need to indulge Old Master Song, but we should show some respect to the Minister of Health and the academicians from the Traditional Medicine Research Institute."
