Qin Jiang shot to his feet. "I asked you the other day if I could visit your parents. You said yes."

Tuantuan exclaimed, "You did not!"

Qin Jiang stated with absolute certainty, "I did."

Tuantuan didn’t believe him. "When?"

"When you were about to fall asleep," Qin Jiang replied.

That single sentence contained a lot of information, and the couple understood immediately.

Tuantuan was speechless. Damn it! I was almost asleep then, so my mind definitely wasn’t clear. I have no memory of agreeing to this. And yet... there’s a vague feeling that maybe it did happen.
