My CEO Husband Has Some Issues-Chapter 751 - : Li Duidui Went to Find Rong Yan
Chapter 751: Chapter 751: Li Duidui Went to Find Rong Yan
[Serves her right! But I remember that AQ’s celebration event is also held in that hotel. Could Rong Yan be in trouble?]
[I don’t know, she shouldn’t be. I didn’t see anyone talking about this on the internet. Why not ask the club president? The president seems to know Rong Yan, they should be aware of the specifics.]
There were many more replies underneath, and people kept tagging him.
Li Duidui stared at the non-stop flow of messages on the tablet, his palm-sized little face deadly serious, his tender lips pursed tightly as if sitting on pins and needles, his whole body restless and anxious.
Little Demon Rong was in the same hotel as those bad guys, and the bad guys had been dealt with, very much like the work of a big villain. But was Little Demon Rong all right?
Li Duidui couldn’t be sure.
He jumped down from the couch and ran back to the bedroom, found his little backpack, and took out the phone stored inside.
After flipping to Rong Yan’s phone number, he hesitated, then backed out and instead opened his messages, sending an emoji of himself to Rong Yan.
One second, two seconds, one minute, three minutes… As time ticked by, he waited for ten minutes with no reply.
Li Duidui thought of the rumors he had seen online, and the uneasiness in his heart began to grow. He sent another message to Rong Yan, waited another five minutes without any response.
Ultimately, he couldn’t hold back and made the call.
“Beep…”
The call connected.
“Ma—” He started to speak with excitement.
Then he heard the mechanical female voice from the other end, “I’m sorry, the user you have dialed has powered off. We will inform the user via text message later.”
Li Duidui slowly put down the phone in his hand.
Powered off…
Little Demon Rong’s phone was actually switched off.
Going from restless to worried, he stood in place for a while, then ran back into his room with an idea in mind. This time, he took his backpack and stuffed his tablet into it as well, zipped it up, and donned it on his back.
With a Bears out backpack and his little noble face, the contrast was particularly adorable.
Once Li Duidui was ready, he slipped past the housekeepers at home and dashed to a nearby intersection, where he hailed a cab using a ride-hailing app.
Soon, a black Hyundai arrived at the designated location.
The driver, upon opening the door to find a little tyke barely over a meter tall climbing diligently into the back seat, looked around in surprise and curiosity and asked, “Little buddy, are you alone? Where are your parents? You didn’t call for my car, did you?”
Who would let such a beautiful child take a taxi alone, not afraid of him being kidnapped?
After Li Duidui got into the back seat and buckled his seatbelt with some effort, he looked up and said politely and sensibly, “No, it was my mom who called for the car. She’s sending me to my uncle’s place.”
“Oh,” said the driver, noting the young age with which the boy spoke so clearly and seeing that this location was a wealthy area, he checked the destination on his phone, “Does your uncle work for Li Group?”
“Yeah,” Li Duidui affirmed, perhaps unintentionally stressing, “Mom sent my itinerary to my uncle, and he’s waiting for me outside. I’m going to give my uncle a call to let him know I’m in the car.”

By doing this, anyone with bad intentions would have to think twice.
“Okay, good,” the driver didn’t think much of it, just curious about a child riding alone. Seeing him speak like this, he reminded him, “Then sit tight, Uncle’s going to drive now. It’ll take us about 20 minutes to get there, so call your uncle first to let him know to come out and meet you on time.”
