My CEO Boss Is A Masked Internet Sensation-Chapter 248: Taking Her From His Arms
Chapter 248: Taking Her From His Arms
(Karsten)
Hades and others dragged Ranold away. His phone was in his pocket, which was literally all the evidence we needed, along with his other electronics, which I was sure the police would find.
My whole focus was on the woman tied to the chair. Cutting away all the ropes I caught her limp body in my arms before she could fall.
"I am here, Arata."
Carefully I gathered her cold body in my arms. Although there was a warm shirt and trousers on her body, they were wet from down below. She was still turning cold from being bound for so long.
I wanted to stare at her, but I couldn’t. There were so many bruises on her face and body.
Fragile and weak, she almost weighed nothing in my arms. Dark circles lined her closed eyes and I wondered if the bastard had given her anything to eat apart from torturing her.
Quivering, my lips landed on her forehead and I kissed her deep, pouring all my emotions into that kiss.
"Return to me, Arata....I am so so sorry."
My heart trembled with every step as I carried her up the stairs, keeping her face close to my heart.
The whirlwind of emotions I kept at bay, I needed to be strong for this.
My men were scattered in every direction, ransacking his place and leaving clues for the police.
As I rushed out, I saw Ranold’s mother shouting at my men; they had bound and settled her on the sofa, leaving her to be found.
My rage-filled eyes found her and she instantly shut up, fear finding its way on her face.
"Let’s move out," I ordered, knowing the place would soon be crawling with police officers.
One of our vehicles had already left, containing Ranold and Urisa. I wanted them in a safe place where I would deal with them later.
Caysir rushed in carrying a blanket. Worries danced across his face.
"Is she...?" He couldn’t finish his sentence.
"Yes...we need to get her to the hospital." I let him wrap a blanket around her as she remained unconscious.
It was snowing outside and I wanted her warm. The blood was caking on her face now and there were too many wounds to be counted.
External and internal.
I rushed out of the bungalow to get to the other car. Hades and Caysir were hot on my heels.
Suddenly, I was blocked by someone. My eyes found his face and it was the big guy who had accompanied Zyair Kincaid.
Hostility and calmness mingled on his face which could only do on the face of a bodyguard.
Zyair Kincaid followed in his elegant stride, his eyes blazing in anger and rage.
"Hand over my daughter." Stepping forward he tried to snatch her from my arms. But Hades and Caysir pulled out their guns.
Zyair’s bodyguard did the same. We stood facing each other with guns raised, adrenaline pumping and misunderstandings riding between us.
But this was not the time to fight. I needed to get Arata to the hospital.
"She needs medical attention, so I am taking her to the hospital," I spoke hurriedly.
"I will take her. The likes of you will not even be allowed to glimpse her shadow from now on." Zyair’s hands landed on Arata and I could sense all the love he held for his daughter, softening his features while his eyes travelled to her face.
I could have easily overpowered him, I had more men and by no means I wanted to let go of Arata. But I knew doing that would result in killing any chance of his heart softening towards me.
"Watch it. This tone won’t be tolerated," Hades hissed from behind me but I shook my head.
"Stand down, lower your guns." I let her father take her from my arms. Like my heart being wrenched out of my chest, leaving it empty and hollow.
But, she was more important to me than anything else in this world now.
"I am letting you take her, doesn’t mean I won’t come for her."
Zyair scoffed as he stepped back. "You will be rotting in prison soon."
I held my men back, letting them retreat with Arata. She needed to be in a hospital. I will get to her later.
We watched them leave with my Blue Rose.
"Have one of the men follow them. I need to know which hospital they are taking her to," I murmured to Hades, and he nodded.
Rage made my nails form half-moons into my palms but there was no other way.
Silently I made my way back inside where they were keeping Karen.
Hades and Caysir remained behind me.
"Did we find Arata and Urisa’s phones?" I questioned.
"Yes." Hades called out and their phones were brought to me.
"Leave Urisa’s phone with Ranold’s as evidence for the police. I am sure they will have a hell of a ride, seeing the conversation between the two."
Hades nodded and walked off while I pocketed Arata’s and told Caysir.
"I want you to start recording when she confesses and send it to the police from a burner. Let them know to come find their evidence."
"Yes, Sir." He gave a quick nod.
Karen had decided to shut up but watched me with hostility as I stood before her with my arms crossed. Only disgust was visible on my face.
"So not only did you use me for your revenge plan, but you also used your son. Made his whole life a mission to fulfil that toxic urge inside you."
She lifted her long fake lashes and demanded while struggling against the ropes.
"Where is my son?"
"Somewhere I am going to break every bone in his body, pour acid over him and watch him burn," I calmly said without any emotions or remorse.
She gasped like a fish out of water, the fear, the motherly instincts, everything combined.
"Don’t hurt him."
"Then tell me the truth and only the truth." She nodded at my words and I thrust my hands into my pockets.
"What can you know about love? Ranold’s father was snatched from me. Killed and buried in a nameless grave. Why wouldn’t I take revenge," she spat out, struggling against her bounds.
I always thought that she must have had some accident to end up having so many plastic surgeries.
But it seemed like she was ugly, inside out.
Revulsion seared through me, even by looking at her.
"And that makes you the champion of kidnapping an innocent girl and torturing her."
Caysir had now started recording.
"They needed to feel my pain, my son’s pain. I should have ended their lives. We had been trying to kill her for a while now."
There, that was the truth which was needed.
"So tell me what happened when you met me for the first time? No way you guys saved me from a speeding car. Tell the truth," I asked, pinning her down with my glare and watching the colour drain from her face.
And then she told me the real story and Caysir recorded it as evidence for the police.
It was Arata, I had saved that day from these evil mongers and they used me to hurt her.
Not again. Never again.
The videos will be enough to exonerate me.
"Call the police," I gave one final order.
Throwing the despicable woman a murderous last look I walked out into the snowy night with a bleeding heart.
